Engadget Review

While the Xperia U might appear to be the next one down from the P, better battery life and general performance make this a worthy consideration if you have an eye for a smaller phone.

Planning of changing another phone after using about half a year. It's easily lag and their people say it's because of the RAM. I am not able to pick up the call at once and mostly it only response after about 10-15 seconds where people who call me will end the call and be angry with me. The phone will hang sometimes that the lights at the bottom will shine but nothing appears at the screen. I personally feel that this phone could not save me in case of emergency because I won't be able to call at the first point. It will take at least 30 seconds to 2 minutes before I manage to make a call. For now, my camera only able to capture one photo then it will appear memory error where you won't be able to capture another photo. Dissappointed with it.

A poor product that's more likely to be frustrating than useful. - Engadget

Great value for money. I bought it because my old phone, an xperia X10 was broken and in daily use it performs a lot better, which is obvious. The android 2.3.7 it came with is nice to use, so I don't even mind waiting for ICS much. There was some bloatware on it (McAfee), but most of it is easily uninstallable. The DLNA software was a nice surprise, pictures could be displayed on the screen of my xmbc mediacenter without any other configuration or extra apps.
