Sometimes a beta test is more than a glorified demo that the marketing department pushes for to drum up pre-orders. Fans of Overwatch, Blizzard's colorful new shooter, discovered just that recently. Over on the game's official forums, a user noticed that one of Tracer's -- more or less the figurehead for the game -- victory poses put her in a position that forum-goer "Fipps" thought wasn't befitting of the character. In it, she's glancing over her shoulder, her butt framed by a few straps over her leggings.

  • Runtastic's new app wants to help with those buns, hun

When a reality TV star "balances" a champagne glass on her bottom, scores of people must feel compelled to replicate that culinary feat. That's (probably) one of the reasons that Runtastic is announcing the Butt Trainer app that'll, apparently, help you improve the size of your backside. Like the company's Six Pack app, a 3D avatar will guide you through over 50 instructional videos and ready made plans like "7-Minute Workout" and "Junk in the Trunk." You'll also be able to share your progress - you know, to enlarge your rear end - on social media, as well as pair your heart-rate monitor with the app. Sorry, you know what? I just can't do this anymore.

  • Shovel Knight cheat unlocks Butt Mode

Shovel Knight is brimming with cheat codes – more than 300 collected in this Google Doc so far – but the most adorable, childishly hilarious code unlocks Butt Mode, a cheat that replaces recurring nouns in the game with the word "butt." It's like reading a Harry Potter book and replacing every instance of the word "wand" with "wang." Or playing Mad Libs. Either way, this is comedy gold. Access Butt Mode in Shovel Knight by entering "X&BUTT" or "WSWWAEAW" in the name entry screen. As with all cheat codes in Shovel Knight, applying Butt Mode means you won't be able to complete any "feats," the game's achievements. Yacht Club Games tweeted the cheat code this week, and CastleGeekSkull shows off Butt Mode on YouTube, proving that yes, it is as funny as it sounds. And we are all 6 years old. See that video below. • Game of Life updated spectacularly for Wii

We admit that we haven't gotten out the Game of Life board in a few years-- rarely having a big enough group, and also having lost all of the money-- but we don't remember the impaling-a-guy-in-a-barrel round of the game. Or the mushroom-shaped houses, or the pastel hippos. Or the, uh, shooting at flying UFO butts. Is this an accurate model of life in Japan? The title and the trademark spinner are the only indications that this is the Game of Life at all. The other screenshots make it look like one of the weirder minigame collections on the Wii-- one with Mii integration, though, to its credit. Buying this and expecting The Game of Life would be like that time we bought what we thought was a James Bond tape, but turned out to be #1 Licensed to Love and Kill.
