MetroPCS' prepaid deal gives you two unlimited lines for $75
With the upcoming school year about to kick off, MetroPCS is rolling out a new plan for the entire family. Starting today, you can get your first line of unlimited LTE data (courtesy of T-Mobile), talk, and text for just $50. On top of that, every subsequent line you add to the package will cost you $25 each (for up to four extra lines). That means you can get two lines for $75 -- which MetroPCS claims is its best-ever deal on unlimited.
Sprint's Better Choice XXL plan includes a year of Amazon Prime
An Amazon Prime membership will cost you $99 a year, but Sprint is tacking on the two-day shipping subscription for free. Starting today, the carrier is giving new and existing customers who choose its Better Choice XXL plan 12-month access to Prime. The XXL option is $100 a month on its own, giving users 40GB of data and unlimited talk and text. Sprint was already offering customers Prime access for $11 a month, but now it's offering folks who burn through data the chance to nab it at no additional cost.
Phones 4u 'JUMP' plan lets you swap phones every six months, for a price
Britons! Dedicated followers of fashion! If your clothes are loud (but never square) and you've just gotta keep up with the latest trends, then Phones 4u should be your next stop. The independent phone retailer is offering customers JUMP (short for "Just Upgrade my Phone"): a 24-month deal that'll let you upgrade your handset every six months. Rather than signing a vanilla deal with your carrier, you plump for a cheaper plan and then rent-to-buy the handset from the store. It's a little more complicated -- and costly -- than your average contract, so keep a calculator handy as you try to follow the math (sorry, 'maths') after the break.
