Deezer has unveiled a new app that will give users access to 30,000 radio stations around the world. "Radio by Deezer," only available on Android in the UK for now, offers up music, live sports, news and talk, including stations like BBC Radio, Classic FM and talkSport. All of that is served up without any ads, apart from those on the radio stations themselves.

If you have a shiny DAB radio sitting in your car or living room, now's the time to walk on over, turn it on and retune. Why? Well, a second "multiplex" has gone live in the UK today, opening up some much-needed airwaves so that a bunch of new stations can be broadcast. Once the process is complete, you should have access to the following: Share Radio, Premier Christian Radio, Fun Kids, Kisstory, Planet Rock, Absolute 80s, Sunrise Radio, Jazz FM, Awesome Radio, UCB2, Panjab Radio, and Heat.

Rdio has been keen on serving up curated stations for your listening pleasure for some time now, but today the streaming service added even more options. Like the existing selections, the new stations are curated by record labels and a smattering of "cultural influencers." The latter variety includes stations from Hype Machine, the folks at Yelp NYC and more. In terms of label stations, you can expect to see curated audio from Arts & Crafts, Blue Note Records, DFA Records, Glassnote Records and more available through the app (depending on your location). These join the long list of current options from the likes of A.V. Club, Def Jam and Sub Pop. If you'd rather have a bit more choice than an "always on" broadcast affords, you might want to give Rdio's station list a look.

Pandora is letting its hair loose, expanding beyond the realm of music-based radio stations into the world of comedy. The streaming music service will offer more than 10,000 clips from over 700 comedians, and will be loaded and ready to go sometime today. If you're already familiar with the service, this brand-new genre will work the same exact way as any other Pandora station: create new radio stations based on your favorite comedians and you can still give the thumb up or down for those tracks you feel strongly enough about. The press release is no laughing matter, but it's available for your reading pleasure after the break.
