"So I'm a regular viewer of Around Azeroth and I saw an image a little bit ago showing your typical, light-following paladin shining through the darkness," writes submitter Valentone of Dracarys on Bleeding Hollow (US-H). "Well, there are some paladins that chose another path and exercise their judgement in a different fashion. Now, I wouldn't go as far as to say my Blood Knight is a particularly evil character, but his ability to hone the light given to him by the Sunwell into literal flames bursting from his body does give him quite the 'fallen' vibe. I will say. though, he's quick to unleash those flames on anyone interfering with his cave skulking, as that poor, hapless death knight sprawled in the foreground so abruptly learned." %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Slaughtering NPCs can get repetitive sometimes. How many times can you hack, stab or drain the very essence from a collection of pixels before you start yearning for new, exciting ways to kill someone? Heck, even Skyrim lets you decapitate people. At least the lack of collision detection can sometimes lead to interesting deaths. Submitter Nobby somehow managed to toss two NPCs through the window of an inn without even breaking the glass. Impressive! %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. We strongly prefer full-sized pictures with no UI or names showing. "I spent about 35 minutes trying to catch this guy, but he kept escaping my net," writes submitter Daeaye of Tears in Heaven on Anachronos (EU-H). "I was hoping to catch him, train him into a mean, lean, fighting machine and destroy every other insect in Azeroth with his cute face, but he seems more interested in lily pads." Silly Daeaye, didn't you ever try to catch insects as a kid? Dragonflies are the second hardest insects in the world to capture. The most difficult, of course, is the cockroach that skitters across your kitchen floor at four in the morning. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? "Yeah, those other shadow priests who think shadows curling off your form is flair enough? PAH!" exclaims submitter Snuffit of For Her Tallest on Wyrmrest Accord (US-H). "We gotta compete with mages and warlocks and their over-the-top gear, people! Not to mention warlocks cheat with their Shivarra's Mesmerize. Us priests get all the plain robes with the occasional dash of color, and maybe some crazy shoulders if we're lucky. The true elegance and flair of shadow spec is posing. You gotta work it, girl!" Submitter Haraharu of Faceroller on Elune (US-A) made a trip to the Stormwind Cemetery to pay her respects to the dear departed queen, Tiffin Wrynn. She wrote that she also took some time to reflect on the horrors of war. Tiffin died after being hit by a thrown stone during the riots that occurred when the nobles refused to pay the stonemasons for rebuilding Stormwind. So it might be a better idea to reflect on the wisdom of trying to cheat a bunch of large angry men who work with giant rocks for a living. Of course, this obscures the real crime here, which is that someone thought Tiffin would be a good name for a little girl. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? When submitter Wauzledop of The Gnomeland Security on Doomhammer (US-A) was planning his first date since The Burning Crusade, he knew he'd have to make a big gesture to get the girl. And girls like candles, right? Everyone who's watched a romantic comedy in the past twenty years knows that. So Wauzledop bought out the entire stock of Ironforge's Yankee Candle Company to turn his apartment into a sexy, sexy firetrap boudoir. Will his efforts result in a second date? Only if those candles are the Christmas Cookie flavor. Those smell delicious. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. Boss, there's really nothing to this complaint. I saw the gnome opening some sort of doorway to hell and I wanted to protect the little lady -- weaker sex and all, you know? So I pushed her out of the way. I didn't even look where my hands were going. There's no need for her to get all hysterical about it. Besides, at her age, she should really take it as a compliment, you know what I mean? Heh heh heh. Wait, why are these security guards coming to escort me out of the building? (Thanks to portal handler Yokko, harasser Wirrieation and submitter Nounours of GrandGalaticInquistor on Llane [US-A] for the screenshot!) %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Submitter Jeremy was wandering around on the PTR when he spied some a night elf druid doing a very ... druid-y thing. When faced with the might of the Sha and all their nasty negative emotions, this green-haired hippie decided to grow a field of flowers in protest. Too bad that the Sha's presence scourges the ground of all living things and salts the earth so nothing can grow again. It kind of ruins the might of the gesture, like sticking a flower in the barrel of a gun and then getting the flower shot back at you. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Guys? Come on, guys. We spent like an hour getting this Oondasta group together, and now we're just going to give up? Sure, it's one in the morning and everyone has had to repair their equipment five times, but that's going to make it even sweeter when we finally kill him. Oh, you're just going to hearth back? Fine! Go do your scenarios for your easy-mode loot. You losers would have never made it past Vaelstrasz in vanilla! "In the darkness there stands a stoic light, a silhouetted radiant beacon among the unknown, a savior of souls, just and righteous," writes submitter Danny. 'Where there is scourge or hysteria, there will be a hand, a hand held out for those in need. A risen shield, bolstered and displayed -- to protect the weak and those in need of redemption. Put your faith to him now for he has always believed in you." Boy, no one does the holier-than-thou shtick like a paladin. I really don't think Azeroth needs any more crazy cult leaders. %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. When the mists dissolved and Pandaria was discovered by the rest of Azeroth, did someone think to give the pandaren a briefing on what's been happening in the last ten thousand years? If not, they might end up a bit confused, like submitter Serkae of GrandGalaticInquisitor on Llane (US-A). Since no one bothered to tell her about the recent history of Azeroth, the quests re-enacting all of Illidan's greatest battles in Feralas convinced her that giant transparent demons were coming to eat her soul. Want to look your best while adventuring in Azeroth? Most major cities have plenty of barbers, tailors, jewelers and fashion designers. But without a shower or bath, your efforts will be doomed to failure -- and good luck finding anything other than a good old-fashioned wooden outhouse. The lack of ablution facilities has led to some severe cases of head funk. This gnome would trade in all of his shiny plate armor for some good anti-fungal shampoo. "Ah, lovely Azeroth, where you can't even help a fisherman reel in his catch without getting in deep, deep trouble," writes submitter Arugadh of The Brotherhood of Iron on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "Seriously. Just south of the Dread Wastes is a small Angler's village, and you -- the great mighty hero, slayer of the Lich King, tromper-on of the Burning Legion, etc etc etc -- get asked to help a fisherman reel in his catch. Which, this being WoW, means that the Kraken is going to pop up and attempt to eat you. I guess it all fits. I mean, we get Old God Tentacles whenever we farm, so the Kraken on a simple fisherman's gut line is just par for the course." %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? "And now we come to those dog days of summer, when it's too hot to do anything but dream about cooler places," writes submitter Cleiti of Duskwood (US-H). "Sometimes my troll shaman dreams about the time she curled up next to Thrall, enjoying a nice cool breeze in Garadar while the warchief discussed family matters with his grandma. Sometimes she dreams of Thrall being warchief again, though she understands why he prefers a sleeveless shirt with a simple skirt and sandals in this heat. Other times, Cleiti dreams of rolling in the snow in the Storm Peaks - would it be cold and crunchy if she ate it? Once she dreamed of splashing in the Southfury River, just outside of Orgrimmar, and running back to Grommash Hold to shake her wet fur all over Garrosh. But her favorite dog-days dream is that when the weather cools off, Thrall will take one of those balls from around his neck and throw it at her so they can have a rousing game of fetch." %Gallery-107338% Want to see your own screenshot here? "On a recent guild Icecrown Citadel run, one of the raid members mentioned, prior to the Sindragosa event, that his bags were full. 'I'll just teleport to the front and empty them,' he said. HA! Again we say, ha! That's 10 members with Traveler's Tundra Mammoths. "Can you tell I love that flying disk?" asks submitter Arugadh of The Brotherhood of Iron on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "For me, it's one of the simplest, yet coolest flying thing designs in the game. Anyway, I was out squishing bugs and running errands for all these Azerothian people who can't seem to be able to do their own grocery shopping -- and you know that every time you run such an errand, it's going to bite you in the butt a bit down the road -- when I came up on a Big Scary Glow-In-The-Dark House up on a Hill. Which got me thinking: what IS it about the Evil Powers that they love such gloomy icky color schemes? "While the trees we planted lasted only a few minutes, the hope they brought to the Dead Scar will surely last a lifetime.
