A buffalo USB speaker? Really? Someone thought this was a good idea? How's about a completely unlicensed Mickey Multifunction Webcam? You know, for doing lots of random crap, just not very well. Or what about an MP3 pen that helps you learn Mandarin? Yeah, 'cause that's totally beneficial in more than three locations on Planet Earth. Or, if you're still not sold, how's about a USB bamboo fountain that'll be a surefire catalyst for adding mold and mildew to any room? Believe it or not, all of these are real products that you can exchange hard-earned dollars for, though obviously we wouldn't recommend it. Cast your vote below for the most jaw-dropping of all.Read - Buffalo USB SpeakerRead - MP3 PenRead - USB Bamboo FountainRead - Mickey Webcam %Poll-27321%

  • LCD Bluetooth Vibrating Bracelet is a watch short of awesome

Brando tried here, it really did, but the crucial omission of a watch just kills the deal for us. Still, for those nowhere near ready to give up their Sea-Dweller, the LCD Bluetooth Vibrating Bracelet makes for a perfect complement. Essentially, this here piece of jewelry pairs up with your BT-enabled cellphone in order to display caller ID information and vibrate whenever someone rings in. If you're tied up at the moment, you can simply hit a button on the bracelet that will reject the call and potentially kill friendships. At $49.90, though, we'd hope the whole "stainless steel" claim is true -- wouldn't want any yellowing going on at this price point, now would we? [Thanks, Louie]

  • Brando's USB Aircraft Mouse was likely used somewhere in AvP

No, seriously -- can you not envision that heinous object above suddenly conjuring up enough energy to transform into a real live, breathing, hungry alien? Brando's USB Aircraft Mouse is simply too frightening to recommend for children under the age of 25, but those hardened enough to control it can select one in five different hues (including camouflage, so you'll never even know when it arrives). We also get the idea that this thing is perfect for implementing carpal tunnel syndrome into your own life, which -- in our humble opinion -- is worth the $17 admission charge alone.[Via OhGizmo]

If you're too strapped for cash to afford a real-deal microscope, and your expired college ID won't get you into the lab any longer, why not pull the trigger on Brando's USB Digital Microscope? Described as "amazingly easy to use," this here 'scope can be utilized for "various applications such as science and engineering work and study, dermatology (skin / scalp) exams, detailed repair and assembly." Or, you can just use it as "a reading aid." Which is a fantastic idea if you actually don't want to read anything at all. Anywho, sure sounds like bundles of fun for just $75.

Are you tired of dealing with the tumbleweed of cords responsible for siphoning power into your GBA SP, DS Phat, DS Lite, DSi, and your three different PSP models? Do you only have seven bucks with which to remedy said problem? Are you brave enough to trust a third-party company whose promotional materials feature glaring typos (we trust you can find it in the above image) with moving electricity from one of your expensive electronic devices into another? Can we turn your attention to Brando's 7-in-1 USB Charging Cable, the perfect gift for those who meet the criteria listed above? Can we write this whole post only using interrogative sentences? Yes, we can. Aw, crap.

  • Brando's 7-in-1 USB charging cable is a handheld owner's dream come true

It's truly heartbreaking that this gem wasn't available for purchase back when you desperately needed a low-cost gift for that special gamer in your life, but considering how lame the chocolate box you got him / her was, there's still reason to snap this up and slap a belated label on it. Brando's ingenious 7-in-1 USB Charging Cable provides power for PSP, DS, DS Lite, DSi and Game Boy Advance handhelds, and all that is required is a powered USB port and $7. Oh, and the bravery to allow a cable made by Brando (or some random backwoods company in China that Brando is in cahoots with) charge hundreds of dollars worth of your gadgetry.[Via DSFanboy]

var digg_url = 'http://digg.com/gaming_news/7_in_1_Charging_Cable_is_the_Answer_for_Every_Gaming_Geek'; ... Provided that your problems are entirely limited to ownership of many recent handheld gaming devices, and inability to manage the large number of wall chargers required for such a collection. But if you find yourself burdened by too many wall warts, this item from Brando will change your life.Basically, it's USB on one end (for your "USB solts"), and ... Game Boy Advance SP, DS, DS Lite, DSi, and PSP on the other. This single, compact, $7 item charges any of those handhelds through your computer's USB port (or your Wii's, for that matter). Now for the standard disclaimer: there's a certain element of fear when dealing with a company like Brando for something like guiding electricity into your expensive devices. We've used some Dragon USB charging cable for the DS Lite for months with nothing to report but convenience, but your mileage may vary! As far as off-brand accessories go, a cable seems pretty okay, but we don't feel comfortable being the authority on that.

  • USB Wireless Keypad is perfect for number-crunching on-the-go

Brando's new USB Wireless Keypad is probably just what you're looking for, if you're looking for a wireless keypad, of course. It's got the standard keypad keys, 13 hotkeys, and a totally sweet built-in trackball. It's no Optimus Aux, or anything, but we imagine this pad will be best put to use whilst counting huge piles of coins (or any hard currency) in a public library or adding up intense columns of figures on the subway. 3,700 coppers and it's yours.

There's no denying that Brando has a special place in its heart for shrunken keyboards, and the latest addition to its product line continues the trend. This appropriately titled "Wireless Illuminated Super Tiny Keyboard" is a slim 15mm, has 56 keys, and operates wirelessly via an included dongle. Yeah, it may not have Bluetooth or handy media keys -- but you can't argue with that electric blue backlight. If this info has got your fingers twitching, you can order one now for $47 with shipping expected by "end of December 2008." [Thanks, mtviolets]

  • White bread wrist rest is non-organic yet ergonomic

Okay, let's say you're big into ergos. You've got your iPosture beeping at you like crazy whenever you slouch, ball-chair toning those core abdominals, and a split adjustable keyboard to make hunting and pecking that much more of an adventure. But what about maintaining the proper mousing angle? Put those fancy silicon pads away and reach for the riboflavin. We've seen a baguette-styled wrist rest before, but if that's a little too fancy for you, Brando has a another option: the plain white sliced bread. Sure, it's probably stuffed with GM wheat and has been bleached so thoroughly there's not a lick of nutrition left, but it might just delay the onset of carpal tunnel by a few years while whisking away any troublesome wrist perspiration. You're just six dollars a slice from this healthy mousing option -- $10 if you want enough to make a wrist sandwich.[Via Crave]

  • Brando offers up laptop cooling pad with built-in hard drive dock

Brando's many peripherals certainly attract their fair share of derison, but it looks like the catch-all retailer may win over a few of the doubters with its new laptop cooling pad / USB hub / hard drive dock, especially considering its $33 price tag. That'll get you two fans that promise to keep your laptop from melting whatever surface it's on, plus three USB ports and, most interestingly, a slot that'll accomodate any 2.5-inch hard drive you might have laying around. Of course, there's always the slight chance that things could go completely haywire (or simply fall apart) but, if you want to give it a go, you can get your order in at the link below.

Happy Hallow's End! Today we bring you a fluffy treat from TRiBViDs called The Grasshappa Chronicles. The most recent installment to the series, Episode 4, is linked above. (Previous episodes are 1, 2, and 3.) These movies are all treat, no trick, like the G.N.E.R.D.S. handed out these days by Innkeepers. A tasty, not too filling, but definitely an enjoyable confection featuring two dudes who pay the price for ripping off intellectual properties in previous episodes. The guys are goofy and have amusing songs running through their heads starring Justin Timberlake and Vanessa Carlton. Oh, and there's also a Hello Kitty reference for good measure.I think we all have some guilty pleasures like this in our movie-watching closets. My favorite guilty pleasures contain ram-a-lama ding-dong, Brando singing, and R.O.U.S.'s in them. I know some of you out there are Goonies freaks. Confess! We've seen a boatload of wireless keyboards shuffle past, but we've gotta hand it to you Brando, the itty bitty factor joined with an array of useful features reminds us your heart is in the right place. The USB 2.4Ghz RF Wireless Multimedia Tiny Keyboard is around half the size of an ordinary keyboard and features a 33-foot range, 1000dpi trackball and media player hot keys. This tight little number can be had for $48 -- throw in an ice cream cone and we're sold.

  • Connectland's USB multi-cellphone charger is quite small, fragile

Compared to other cellphone charging pads out there, Connectland's USB Multi-Cellular Phone Charger is mighty minuscule. The box gets power via a USB plug and then pipes it to eight different connectors that fit into mobiles from Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, etc. We dig that Brando throws in a "foam rubber" to keep this in while traveling, but honestly, would it really take more than two unanticipated jaunts to break every last prong from this thing? She's $18 if you're shaking your head from left to right.[Via Gadgets-Weblog]

Oh Brando, what will you think of next? On second thought, we're just going to do our best to soak up the awesomeness that's beaming from your latest concoction, the Super Tiny Keyboard. This palm-sized (or so they say) input peripheral measures in at just 6.7- x 2.8- x 0.6-inches and features a mini-USB port and a retractable cable. We'd expect this would only be good for typing emergencies, but for $25, it might not be a bad backup to have around.[Via OhGizmo]

Nothing says "I'm mad as hell about my iPhone 3G's battery life and I'm not going to take it anymore" better than blasting it out of a loudspeaker. Bonus points for that loudspeaker being integrated with a battery pack, which in turn connects to your -- you guess it -- iPhone 3G (or original iPhone, if that's how you roll). Well, $44 to the folks at Brando will buy you that very opportunity, it turns out. Who knew?

USB blankets are old hat (for better or worse), but the USB Heated Shawl takes an aged concept and makes it relevant again with the addition of a single clip. Clearly designed for elderly folks who aren't kept warm enough by the bottoms of their laptops and for the billions of cubical dwellers who freeze in silence each and every day, this $28.95 device is a godsend. Just plug it in, wrap it around and enjoy the warmth. Oh, and ignore the haters.

We've seen these zoom lens add-ons before. Now Brando's slapped together this 6x "Telescope" for the iPhone 3G -- a phone not exactly revered for its image quality. Just snap the unit to the back of the iPhone 3G and get to work. How good is it? About as bad as the $19 worth of optics within. Seriously, 19 bucks and available now.

Believe us, we've seen a variety of unorthodox thermometers before, but this one just shines in a very special way. Brando's USB indoor / outdoor thermometer ($22) is pretty self-explanatory, but we'll humor you a bit by going into detail. The unit itself is powered via your USB port and provides a much more precise reading than those silly weather websites that just take samples from an area nearby. There's even software bundled in to log readings every second for 12 whole hours. Science project, anyone?[Via Coolest Gadgets]

  • Brando's SATA HDD Multimedia Dock includes video-out, media player

Brando's SATA HDD Stage Rack doesn't stay the same for very long, as it seems a new iteration keeps popping up every month or so. The latest (and greatest, might we add) is the SATA HDD Multimedia Dock, which enables users to slap in any ole 2.5- / 3.5-inch SATA hard drive and access it via USB. That's not all, though. This one also provides an SD card slot, S-Video / composite / component outputs and a bundled remote -- what for, you ask? So you can play back MPEG1/2/4, XviD and DivX (among others) files, of course. This takes multifaceted to an entirely different platform, huh?[Via Coolest-Gadgets]
