Google has added two more useful features to its Datally data-managing app. The first is emergency bank, a way to portion off some of your data and save it for when you might need it most. Just enter your balance and how much you'd like to reserve, then Datally will prevent your apps from using data once the emergency amount is all that's left. That data will then be available for whenever you decide you need it.

Google launched its data-tracking app Datally for Android last year, giving users more insight into how and where they're using their phone plan data as well as more control over that usage. Now, Google has released a handful of new features for the app. First up is Guest Mode, through which Datally users can set the amount of data someone can use when borrowing their phone. And in that same vein, Datally now lets you apply daily data usage limits for yourself. The app will give you warnings as you approach that limit and once you reach it, you can either block data for the rest of the day or continue using it.

Google has released a new Android app that can help you monitor and control the amount of data you use. Datally shows your real-time data usage for each application inside a bubble icon and gives you an easy way to block it from using more in the meantime. It shows your daily usage in a bar graph (for you, stats fans) and will send you notifications to switch its data saver function on in case it's currently switched off. And to stay true to its purpose, Google has also given it the ability to find WiFi hotspots you can connect to.
