BMW shows off an AR windshield concept for the 2021 iNext
BMW thinks that we'd like to interact with our cars in a more humane way than we do today, engaging them in conversation. But that's never just using words, but with gestures, body language, and our gaze, which we use to convey meaning to one another. That's why the company is showing off the BMW i Interaction EASE, a concept windshield for self-driving cars that actually analyzes our nonverbal signals to help us get more out of traveling.
Golf course drone deliveries help you grab a bite on the green
You won't have to wait for a human courier (or drive back to the clubhouse) just to satisfy your hunger in the middle of a golf game. Flytrex and EASE drones have teamed up with King's Walk Golf Course in North Dakota to offer the first drone-based food delivery service on an American golf course. If your stomach is growling several holes in, you just have to pick a pre-approved drop-off point through a mobile app, order your meal and watch as a human-piloted drone carries your grub directly to that point. That's potentially much faster than having a worker drive a circuitous route.
Pantech Ease now official on AT&T
AT&T's latest from longtime partner Pantech has now gone from rumor to reality, bringing another full-touch dumbphone into the fold -- but there's an interesting twist on this one. The so-called Ease is clearly geared toward the older set, packing unique features like a pill reminder and built-in pedometer alongside more common goodies like text-to-speech and voice command. It's got a 2 megapixel camera, slide-out landscape keyboard, 3G, and a 3.2-inch WQVGA display paired with a $69.99 launch price (on contract after rebate, of course) that should make it fairly appealing to the penny-pinching types Pantech's clearly trying to appeal to with this one. TomTom Ease arrives in limited edition red for Valentine's Day
Funny that this special red edition of the TomTom Ease is actually beating the regular version to market, but hey, it's Valentine's Day. Nothing new here apart from the case color -- you're still looking at a 3.5-inch QVGA display, 2GB of internal memory preloaded with Tele-Atlas maps, Map Share / IQ Routes, an integrated battery, and a built-in Fold & Go mount. Amazon has the limited-edition red exclusively for $119 now, if you're ready to commit -- or you can wait and just be friends with the boring gray model, which should be out any day now.

Chances are you'll dig TomTom's new Ease, an entry-level PND to lead all entry-level PNDs, with an integrated Fold & Go port mount, a slightly tweaked UI, Map Share / IQ Routes, a 3.5-inch display (320 x 240), 2GB of internal memory, pre-loaded Tele Atlas maps of America, text-to-speech and an integrated battery.
