  • Happy net neutrality day! Here are some llamas and a dress

Where were you the day the internet was freed from ISP tyranny? Apparently, you were either watching two llamas on the lam or tweeting that a clearly black and blue dress was actually gold and white. When two escaped camelids sent a Phoenix sheriff's posse on a Benny Hill chase, it spawned a million GIFs and seemed a perfect capper to a momentous day. But then, someone posted a picture of a dress on Tumblr that, due to a trick of light, appeared to be either black and blue or gold and white. Before you could say "rods and cones" the story went insane, with over 20 million views on Buzzfeed. So while some may wring their hands about the dumbing down of the internet, we say, enjoy it! Here are some of the best tweets, GIFs and Vines below -- you can always get serious later. (By the way, the dress is blue and black.)

  • Eden Eternal introduces new race and dungeons

Eden Eternal is quickly becoming known as "that llama game" around Massively -- and we mean that in the fondest possible way. Llamas project coolness the way some game conventioners project body odor; they don't answer to anyone, but if you're solid, they'll give you a lift. While Eden Eternal is still in the open beta period, that doesn't mean Aeria Games is holding content back for the post-launch period. On the contrary, the company has a meaty update planned for early July. The star of the update is the introduction of the playable Zumi race, who are small mousy creatures who like inventing stuff and selling stuff (this game's answer to Gnomes, perhaps?). The July update will also include additional high-level dungeons and a neat ranking reward system that hands out prizes to the top players and guilds on each server monthly. There's no word yet if there will be more llamas added to the patch. One can hope... one can hope.

  • Feed your discs to the alligator-skinned Xbox 360

We're usually not ones to post about console case mods of any sort, but we decided to buck that trend today -- namely because no case mod we've ever seen has inspired such fear into our hearts. A forum-dweller by the name of dfw monkie recently posted pictures of his latest monstrosity to The Llamma's Game Console Forums (instilling a greater fear in us that a Llama-themed 360 is in the works) -- an Xbox 360, covered in the pitch-black skin of a gargantuan alligator that dfw monkie killed with his bare hands.Okay, the crocodilian pattern was created with common crafting supplies, but we much prefer our own "Man vs. Wild" interpretation of the console's backstory. Martha Stewart-esque origins or no, the final product is still downright unsettling.

  • Someone put a damn unicycling llama on their DS

var digg_url = 'http://digg.com/mods/Someone_put_a_damn_unicycling_llama_on_their_DS'; So, is this what's hot on the streets nowadays? Is this what's really hood? We have to commend Acidmods forumer Rocky for having enough technical knowhow to mod his handheld so extensively -- regular readers will recognize his work from our previous posts spotlighting his LED wizardry. We also have to commend him for blowing our minds with this off-the-wall design. We assume that the inspiration behind the unicycling llama came from Rocky's animated avatar on the Acidmods message board. Fellow forumer XionDS engraved the llama onto a transparent shell for him with a CNC cutter, immortalizing the balancing pack animal. You can see more photos of Rocky's DS Lite and images of XionDS's similarly-etched system past the post break.
