Oxhorn is back with another wonderful machinima, An Oxhorn Brand Medley. He combined quotes and songs from his other popular works with a tune whipped up by Nathan Allen Pinard to set the tone for his latest work. In typical Oxhorn fashion, you can find the script, music, and other tidbits about the movie on his website. A wise man once said, "LOLOMGWTGDAIRYQUEEN LOLOMGBBTHEQ." We couldn't agree more! As you sing along to the chorus, try to see how many scenes and characters you can recognize. This blogger only has eyes for Hat, the singing turtle, though. If you have machinima or movie suggestions from any MMO, please send them to machinima AT massively DOT com, along with any information you might have about them.

In the words of the immortal Mort, "LOLOMGWTGDAIRYQUEEN LOLOMGBBTHEQ." What exactly does that mean? We're still trying to figure that out, but in the meantime, Oxhorn has made An Oxhorn Brand Medley for us to watch! As always, you can find the script, music, and other tidbits about the movie on his website.Oxhorn combined lyrics and quotes from his previous machinima projects in a song orchestrated by Nathan Allen Pinard. My future husband, Hat, even makes an appearance! Can you spot all the references? If you have any suggestions for WoW Moviewatch, you can mail them to us at machinima AT wowinsider DOT com.Previously on Moviewatch ...

It looks like Oxhorn's WeGame gig is paying off for fans. After nine months, he has released the sequel to Orcs in SPACE! Since Stage6 is gone and Oxhorn is exclusive with WeGame, the best extra we can link to is the script.Orcs in SPACE! 2 is about two orcs, Dr. Strange Orc and Dink, in ... (You guessed it!) space! They trade witty banter back and forth, and put on a song and dance. Along the way, a strange moon joins in on the action. While this is definitely not my favorite Oxhorn machinima, I enjoyed the rap in the end.Previously on Moviewatch ...

In the fourth Inventing Swear Words, we find Mort, the undead ubar-l33t, preparing to marry his prize heifer, Lacy. Will he be able to resist temptation when it comes along? Will Hat be able to sing a tune without insulting Mort's bride? You'll just have to tune in to find out!I am pleased to report that my future husband, Hat the singing turtle, has quite a bit of face time in Oxhorn's latest machinima. He manages to sing three songs in Inventing Swear Words 4! I'd have to say that my favorite would be, "You are so beautiful ... to Mort." If you're as obsessed with Hat as I am, and he really should get a restraining order against me, then join his WeGame Official Hat Fan Club! Oxhorn was kind enough to render out all the Hat moments from his movies, so it's all Hat, all the time.

Having been a full-time machinimator in Second Life for about 1.5 years now, I can definitely appreciate the plight of the WoW machinimator. They produce work that is easily 10 times the quality of what comes out of SL, yet have a hard time making any money off of it. However, it looks like Oxhorn has found a way.Oxhorn has landed a gig with WeGame, a video sharing site with a twist. WeGame not only allows you to upload your machinima, it also provides you with a free desktop client for filming. If you can't afford to pay for Fraps or any of the other options, WeGame is your best bet.Read on for more about Oxhorn's new job and WeGame ...

For another excellent machinima from 2007, today we're presenting Oxhorn's ROFLMAO, a short and sweet World of Warcraft musical production. (And, fortunately, it's completely understandable even if you aren't a WoW fan. We all have a friend who speaks in nothing but l33t, right?) And if you find yourself confused as to what's so funny about this video, perhaps you might appreciate this version, made famous on the Muppet Show. (But if that doesn't help you, there's just nothing else we can do!)

While we're waiting for Oxhorn to release a Christmas CD of WoW songs, the guys over at Dirt Dog Gaming made up some of their own! When a forum member created a thread with a silly carol, the rest of the guild joined in. Then two of the braver members, Barenger and Mirabell, sang them. You can find the lyrics in the thread. Here is the song list: Oh Karazhan, by Barenger Silenced Mage, by Mirabell Pew pew WIPE, by Barenger Orcs infesting LBRS, by Brendan Oh Holy Knight, by Jashoo Winters Veil, by Mirabell Halt, The Harried raid leader screams, by Datchery Take it on a Raid, by Qyu Tanking for the first time, by Mirabell [Thanks, Infamy!]Previously on Moviewatch...

This Machinima was so nice that I had to share it twice. World of Warcraft fans will appreciate this tale of greed and pie, narrated by the deliciously sinister Associate Professor Evil. As three friends head to a party, they encounter many obstacles, including a violent reindeer, and an expansion requirement that they weren't quite prepared for ... It is during the commercial break that the video truly shines, as Oxhorn does his best late night TV impression. If only "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like This Raid Isn't Going to Happen" were a real song!Yesterday, I noted that my future husband, Hat, wasn't featured anywhere in the film, but after watching a second time, I noticed that Oxhorn is holding him during the commercial break! If you like pecan pie, Savage Garden, or critiquing films without actually making them, then this is the Machinima for you. As always, you can read the full script on his blog, or check out the high quality version.

When three friends decide to check out a party, they have no idea what they're in for. Oxhorn has released a Christmas Special like no other. It contains all of the elements of a quality tale, including an epic adventure, l33t-speak, a heroic battle against a reindeer, and pie! There's even a hilarious commercial break that mocks those cheesy late night CD commercials on TV.My only complaint is that my future husband, Hat, is not only absent, but insulted in this machinima. However, Oxhorn does take light jabs at whiners like me at the end, so point taken. You can read the full script on his blog, or check out the high quality version of this Special on Stage6.[Via Warcraftmovies.com]Previously on Moviewatch...

From the first time I saw Hat vs. Barnaby, I couldn't get Hat, the Singing Turtle, out of my head. I even went so far as to stalk Oxhorn in order to find out more about him! While I was disappointed to learn that Hat probably wouldn't marry a human, I did discover some important details of his life.Born in a little pond in the Barrens, Hat knew there was more to life than eating crickets. All he really wanted to do was sing, and he didn't let anyone discourage him! As for Barnaby, Associate Professor Evil found him trying to catch cheese in a river! Since that fateful day, he has lived a life of killing and critiquing. The ending of this World of Warcraft Machinima was a bit of a cliffhanger, so I had many questions regarding both Hat and Barnaby. How do they get along now? What are Hat's plans for the future? Read on after the jump to find out the answers to those questions and more ...

I'm not a big fan of sites like cute overload. However, when I encounter creatures like Hat, the Singing Turtle, I'm just overwhelmed with adorable! This is my official petition, Oxhorn. I want more Hat Machinima! While I'm busy applying for membership to Hat's fan club, check out Hat vs. Barnaby, made in World of Warcraft. When Hat is invited to sing at the Evil Alchemist University, he has no idea that he will be shunned by followers of The Great Critic, Barnaby. As the tale unfolds, a hilarious battle ensues between turtle and crab, taking to the streets of Stormwind. This looks like a job for Mighty Morphin Midget Gnomes!

  • Oxhorn talks to the Alliance Herald

We've covered interviews before, and there was even an interview with a Death Knight recently on the World of Warcraft website. But I haven't in recent memory been able to recall an interview with a Tauren, especially not one who is also a movie star. So when I saw that Oxhorn, actor, producer, composer and all around swell cow was interviewed by the Alliance Herald, I admit more than the usual excitement. Maybe I'm more of a fan than I let on. We learned through the Alliance Herald's questions that Oxhorn is both an only child and an orphan. Apparently there seems to be some hints that the elves had something to do with his current familial situation, but no real details were given. Oxhorn spends his days in Kalimdor, mostly roaming Mulgore and Orgrimmar, and has yet to set foot in Outland.

  • Machinima Europe nominees announced

Lots of good news recently on the WoW Machinima front -- both for fans and artists. First, we had Blizzard's recent "open letter" to the machinimators of Warcraft letting them know just what they can and can't get away with. In that, they also offered a contact to the artists on how to get more information if the letter wasn't good enough to codify things. Follow that with some fabulous new machinima out recently from Oxhorn, Baron Soosdon, and many others. And then we see on the Machinima for Dummies blog, and in a great tip mail from Hugh, that Machinima Europe has announced their nominees for this year. Among the many entries from all across the world are a few solid entries from WoW! In the "Best Commercial/Game" category, we have 4 commercials for MtvU by Oxhorn. Later down the page we see that Oxhorn has received another nomination for yet another machinima -- Hark! Hear the Wails in the "Best Sound" category. Further down we see the third and final WoW nomination into this years' Machinima Europe awards, Azerothian Super Villains (Episode 3) by Ian Beckman. Hopefully they both will come away with awards and even more recognition for their fabulous creativity. Best of luck to all of the nominees this year, but especially to our WoW machinimators -- without whom, WoW Moviewatch (and many lunch-hour viewings) wouldn't be possible. [Thanks, Hugh!]

You've seen a crazy good PvP video that shows a top ranked player's latest moves or maybe a short clip of the latest epic mount and now you want to make a Warcraft film of your own. With two simple programs you can make a video in an hour or less. It's not going to be an epic story of love and war across the ages, but it can be anything in game you want to show your friends, guildmates or the world whether it's a guild event, a boss fight or an Arena battle. In this article, I'm going to cover the very basics of Machinima (making movies using game footage.) By the end of this feature, you'll be able to record, edit and post a short video of your exploits in Azeroth. You can see a demonstration of how to make a Warcraft film by clicking on the short video tutorial above. Otherwise, read on for step-by-step instructions complete with screenshots and recommendations for advanced techniques.

This video is hardly new -- dated very clearly by its references to the gates of Ahn'Qiraj. And, if you weren't playing around the time the gates were opening, the plot may not make sense, but the gate opening event, in an effort to include players of all levels, required the vast collection of random in-game resources, many of which seemed odd to collect for an army preparing an attack. What would an army, preparing to advance into Silithus and fight at the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, need with 800,000 linen bandages? Hopefully not using them! For those of you who didn't get to enjoy the Ahn'Qiraj event, Oxhorn explains exactly how anyone involved would have felt. (I, personally, feel like untold days of my life were devoted to purely to logging on and collecting purple lotus.)Previously on Moviewatch...

Today on MovieWatch we have the newest project from Oxhorn, Orcs In Space! It made me laugh thinking about the Orcish peons from the original Warcraft RTS games, because I could totally see them acting silly like that if they weren't kept busy mining for gold, chopping more wood, or building something. It also reminds me of the old Muppets skit Pigs In Space with the silly bits that just made you go "wha?"Also, be certain that you listen for the last blurb during the credits. While not specifically World of Warcraft related, it is still extremely funny!Previously on Moviewatch...
