What we're watching: Sports fans have college football, NHL, and NBA action to choose from tonight, Roseanne Barr is on HBO in her first comedy special in 10 years and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is on Cinemax...but we won't be watching any of it. Tonight is the premiere of HDNet's coverage of CEDIA 2006. What we're watching: Nice to have our usual complement of new programming back now that the World Series is over. Also returning tonight is The O.C. with its season premiere...c'mon now you know you watch. In other Fox-related news, it appears we missed the premiere of The Rich List game show last night, but the site indicates it was in 720p, unlike most SD game shows (but not Jeopardy). Two good Western conference NBA games on TNT make us lad basketball is back. Finally, tonight are the words many college football fans never expected to hear: Thursday night Big East matchup with National Championship Game implications. West Virginia vs. Louisville is one of the biggest games this season, we'll be watching. Our traditional high definition listings continue below.

What we're watching: NBA action continues, after the NBA champs got blown out last night King James steps up as the Cavaliers face the Wizards and the Suns return to take on the Clippers. Sure there's Lost, CSI: NY, Jericho and the surprisingly funny 30 Rock, but we just can't get enough basketball on ESPN-HD. What we're watching: Sure Dancing with the Stars, NCIS, Standoff and Gilmore Girls are all on tonight, but we know what we're watching. The NBA regular season is back, with a doubleheader of Heat vs. Bulls and Lakers vs. Suns. Sure it's not an all-skycam broadcast but Shaq, the real Big Ben, D-Wade, the reigning two-time MVP Steve Nash and (maybe) Kobe in 1080i? What we're watching: Friday Night Lights has swapped places with Studio 60 on Monday nights, so we'll see how that works out for NBC. What we're watching: Baseball playoffs and Discovery HD Atlas are both done, although you can catch a re-run of the last episode of Atlas featuring Australia on Discovery HD Theater today. The Tony Romo era begins tonight as the Cowboys take on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football...it should be interesting to say the least. There's also college football on ESPN and MLS on HDNet, but we'll probably just check out The People Under the Stairs on Universal HD.Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: There's an excellent college football matchup on tonight between Tennessee and South Carolina on ESPN-HD, but many will probably take a break and catch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on ABC tonight. What we're watching: The World Series could be all wrapped up tonight, as the Tigers and Cardinals play Game 5 in St. Louis. Surprisingly, we've got not one but two HD season premieres tonight. What we're watching: The bad side of the World Series, is all the other networks defer with reruns and b-quality programming, so if you don't like baseball or the game is cancelled due to rain, there's not much on. What we're watching: The World Series continues on Fox, as the St. Louis Cardinals try to take a 3-1 lead over the Detroit Tigers. The theme for tonight's Lost is "every man for himself", which hopefully means "the HDTV boxed set doesn't cost $200", but that's just wishful thinking.
