It looks like some Droid buyers are receiving these wearable gifts in the mail today, but let's be honest -- a shirt with "Droid Does" on the front and a huge picture of the phone in the back makes for a pretty cost-effective ad campaign for Big Red. Hey, is that Hanes, Fruit of the Loom or American Apparel? [Thanks, Justin T.]

Rockstar has unleashed some brand new Grand Theft Auto IV T-shirts, giving fans of The Ballad of Gay Tony a reason to hit the floor show off their best moves. Available for $20 each, the shirts depict the logos of two of the DLC's nightclubs, Hercules and Bahama Mamas. If you've been looking to make a super hip fashion statement ... well, you probably shouldn't be buying video game T-shirts. If, however, you're looking for some inoffensive gaming apparel -- which can be hard to find -- go ahead and take a look.

I had never stepped foot inside an instance before now. My life had been one of roleplay and sitting AFK in Alterac Valley's luxury "Starting Cave" resort. And then she came to me. My precious. She was heralded originally by our own Mike Schramm, and now she's here. My incredible Three Worgen Moon T-Shirt. She's a second gen shirt, much more powerful than her Three Wolf Moon original. Now? Now, Arthas lays dead on the ground under my feet. Alexstrasza clings worshipfully to one of those feet, while Sylvanas looks up pleadingly from the other. Their adoring eyes proclaim the legend of my deeds. There's not much room on the floor for the defeated Lich King, but that's okay. I feel like Ash on the cover of the Army of Darkness posters. Hail to the king, baby.No. Hail to the Three Worgen Moon T-Shirt, now on sale over at the JINX store. Available in sizes all the way up to 4XL, the Three Worgen Moon T-shirt should be all it takes to bring your game to another level. Forget a snazzy mouse, forget about primitive technology like computers. Three Worgen Moon will let you interface with the game directly via its incredible mojo, powering your character to levels that you never even imagined. You barely even have to think, before the magic starts happening.Enough for now. I have to go kill Deathwing. Solo. You chumps who lack the totemic Three Worgen Moons can just wait until Cataclysm. Jaina just gave me a call, she's gonna go with me. Apparantly, she dumped Thrall as soon as I unwrapped the shirt from its box.

For their effort, gamers seemed to enjoy the reward of partaking in local multiplayer sessions of ODST's Firefight mode. Check out a closer look at the shirt after the break.

Alright, look. When Persona 3 Portable is released in Japan, it's going to be attached to an exorbitantly large 6,279 yen ($68) price tag. As long as you're shelling out so much dough for the title, why not kick that total up to 8,495 yen ($92) and spring for the game's limited edition bundle? Siliconera recently uncovered the bonus items included in the aptly titled Persona 3 Portable DX bundle: A Persona-branded t-shirt (seen above), 12 PSP jacket-sized character posters, and a 2010 desk calendar. You know what would've been a great addition to this bundle? Some Persona 3 papercraft made out of three 1,000 yen banknotes. Now that's a collector's item.

When the online BlizzCon store first became available, Adam Holisky pointed out that while there was a lot of unique swag being sold at BlizzCon, none of it seemed really amazing. At the time, I had agreed with him. I mean, plush murlocs are always awesome, but nothing I saw in the gallery really blew me away. And then I saw the stuff in person. Isn't that always the way? Something about standing there, with those beautiful items lit up in their glittering case, called to me like the dork that I am. But, it's something that's hard to explain -- you have to see it yourself.Check out the gallery below to see the items on sale at BlizzCon 2009. If I were pressed to pick my favorite, I'd probably go with the "Time is money, friend!" T-Shirt. It seemed like a neighborly way of welcoming the Horde's new friends: the Goblins.%Gallery-70863%

BlizzCon 2009 officially starts tomorrow and most of Team WoW.com are either in Anaheim or heading down there as we speak. As you make your way through throngs of people this Friday and Saturday, keep your eyes peeled for our intrepid crew. But how do you spot them? Granted, they're not like cosplayers. Although follow the throng of adoring women and you may just spot Turpster. The rest of the team are known for their ability to Shadowmeld instantly so we've had to equip them with some very special gear this BlizzCon.You can get a good look at team at the meetup tonight, but if you can't make it and need a visual cue you can spot them on the convention floor by looking for their special BlizzCon gear: a Legendary and totally epic, limited edition T shirt (with +50 visibility) featuring a certain crab and that long-promised equine mount. So don't forget to mark them off like the rare spawns they are and come up and say "hi". They may even have a little something for you. BlizzCon 2009 is coming up on August 21st and 22nd! We've got all the latest news and information. At BlizzCon you can play the latest games, meet your guildmates, and ask the developers your questions. Plus, there's some great looking costumes.

Show us how you express yourself by contacting our tips line (attention: World of WarCrafts) -- not-for-profit work only, please.Yes, it's another T-shirt update – because c'mon, people, who doesn't love to wear T-shirts? Stages of Dunemaul-US sent us her version of Sugarrat's popular bleach T-shirt, modeled by an especially cute Hordie-to-be. ("She doesn't play yet, though occasionally she talks in guild chat and yells at noobs in Vent," Stages says.) We like this version because it uses fabric paint instead of bleach (for those of you still leery of the whole bleach idea), which also makes it ideal for light-colored fabrics that wouldn't be well suited to the bleach method.Stages plots out the path for a perfect fabric-painted WoW insignia shirt. She's created an easy-to-print Horde insignia, or you can find or make your own design. Follow her complete instructions, after the break.

  • Show off your PixelJunk with boring, expensive tees

Let's be honest: this shirt isn't all too cool. That's a shame, considering we love our PixelJunk, and would love to wear some tees showing off our fandom. This rather uninspired shirt is from premium t-shirt maker The King of Games, and will cost a premium price: 3800円 (about $40). Considering the stylish look of all the PixelJunk games so far, we have to admit we're disappointed by this offering. Thankfully, an equally priced PixelJunk Eden Encore t-shirt is a bit more eye catching.[Via Destructoid]

World of WarCrafts spotlights art and creativity by WoW players and fans, including fan art, cooking, comics, cosplay, music, fan fiction – and yes, (War)crafts. Share your stuff by tipping us off via our tips line (attention: World of WarCrafts). This T-shirt from Sugarrat of Earthen Ring-US is crafting at its absolute best: a cool end product based on instructions simple enough that you could pull it off with your paws in bear form. We asked Sugarrat to send us the complete instructions and photos so we could host them here, to keep her guild's server from being splurched -- that's how popular we know this shirt will be. "I am a girly girl," Sugarrat explains. "I like my pearls and my bright colours and really wish there was more wearable Warcraft art. I saw a few sexy things on Etsy -- but I am also kinda cheap, so thought I would try and make my own."Click on the gallery below for step-by-step instructions on making Sugarrat's WoW Bleach Shirt. The winner of the E3 2009 T-shirt contest is Christine Sununu of The Granite State (New Hampshire). The garment will be available for purchase during the show, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Midnight Mission, an LA-based organization helping the homeless. Also, as a reminder, the Red Cross will have a blood drive on site (you do not to be an attendee to donate), but you have to make an appointment. Go to www.givelife.com and enter E3 as the sponsor code to set up an appointment. The donations will take place on the concourse breezeway between the west and south hall ... so, no, it won't grant access to the show. But, remember, you can always try to find other ways in.

Slorkuz posts that yesterday, February 11th, marked the four-year anniversary of World of Warcraft's release in the EU, and Blizzard is throwing a few contests to celebrate. You can see all of the giveaways over on their site -- there's some nice Swagdog and Dell gear to win for coming up with a great t-shirt slogan, a piece of fan art, or answering some lore questions. Unfortunately, participation in the contests is limited to only a few countries, due to local rules, but if you're interested and able, have at it.Congrats to Blizzard and the EU for four full years in Azeroth! North America had our anniversary late last year, and WoW Insider put together a look back at what it was like for us. We all (including the EU) got the anniversary pet as well, so apparently, other than these contests, Blizzard is just giving this date a nod rather than a big in-game celebration. But there's always the ten year anniversary -- we'll see you in 2014!

Great show on the podcast this past weekend, if I may say so myself. We started off with a kickass intro from David over at Trekcast.com, and I think it set the tone well: we had Michael Sacco (a.k.a. onetime Blizzard GM Belfaire) on the show, and he revealed some great stories about what it's like to be on the other end of Blizzard's ticket system. Turpster was on with his wacky self as usual (along with some excellent Warrior insight), and we all talked about the most embarassing thing we've done in game, and how to know when you're ready to head off into Heroics, as well as the Death Knight changes coming up in the next patch. If you want to send us an intro or anything else, the address is theshow AT wow.com. You can listen to last weekend's show using the links below, and if you'd like to hear us live, definitely make plans to listen in next weekend: we record the show live every Saturday at 3:30pm Eastern / 20:30 GMT. Oh, and don't forget to become a fan of our site on Facebook -- we're almost 3/4 of the way to our goal of 4,000 fans, and if we can reach that goal, Turpster's promised us a brand new, exclusive song. Tell your friends!Enjoy the show and have a great week. • TUAW Holiday Giveaway-tacular Part One: the active iPodder

    12.24.2008

For the next 5 days we're giving away a bunch of stuff from our friends at Dr. Bott. Check back each day for a new chance to win a bundle of goodies, each with a theme. Today the theme is "the active iPodder," or all those folks you see running with their iPods strapped to their arms. So we're including the Marware Sportsuit for a long-distance runner (holds up to 160 GB of music) and an EcoRunner 4th-gen nano strap for shorter distances. Plus, you'll want to hear your music while you drive around (perhaps to wherever you're going to run), so we're throwing a Griffin iTrip Auto SE in the mix.I have tried the latest versions of these iTrip devices, and I have to say they are much better than previous models. Provided you have a clear channel, the signal is strong enough to provide a decent FM sound. My wife, a conisseur of nano wrist straps, was duly impressed with the EcoRunner -- it fits on your arm as well and is supposed to be more green by not using neoprene as the primary material. We didn't give it a long test, as giving away sweaty merchandise isn't cool, but our 1st-gen nano fit (thanks to the way the sleeve is made), which was cool.Win a Marware 4th-gen nano wrist/arm strap, a Griffin iTrip, a Marware Sportsuit Convertible for iPod classic (80 and 160 GB versions) and the very last of our now old-skool TUAW t-shirt (only available in small). To enter, just tell us whether you are a runner, a cyclist or none of the above. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older. To enter leave a comment telling us whether you are a runner, a cyclist or none of the above. The comment must be left before December 31, 11:59PM Eastern Time. You may enter only once. One winner will be selected in a random drawing. Prize: TUAW t-shirt ($5), Marware Sportsuit Convertible for iPod classic ($34.99), Griffin iTrip Auto ($69.99), Marware Eco Runner ($34.99) Click Here for complete Official Rules.

  • Cheyenne Mountain opens merchandise shop for Stargate Worlds

Ordinarily, the opening of an online merchandise shop for an MMO wouldn't exactly be news, but there are two reasons why the new Stargate Worlds store raised a few eyebrows: The game hasn't been released yet, and the recent rumor of unpaid employees has fans worried (we're at 34 days now!).It has been speculated already that this store may be a "last ditch effort" to fund the Stargate MMO, but we'd hope that's not entirely the case. Regardless of how you would view preliminary funding through the sale of merchandise (even if it is on CafePress), this could actually be seen as a good thing. What's really wrong with helping to support a game you'd really like to see make it to launch, and getting a pretty sweet t-shirt in the process? Well, unless the game never launched...[Via FileFront]
