In Two Bosses Enter, WoW Insider's series of fantasy death matches, the bosses of World of Warcraft face off in the squared circle. Your vote determines who wins and claims the season title. "What!?" I hear you ask, trembling with rage. "Eregos!? He was a Wrath of the Lich King boss!" He sure was. Not only was he a Wrath boss, he was the winner of the first season of Wrath of the Lich King's Two Bosses Enter, long before our previous wild card, Scourgelord Tyrannus, was even in the game. "Uggghhh!" I hear you curse, trembling with only slightly less rage than before. "We've already had a Wrath boss wild card! You are just the worst!" Well, perhaps this bit of information will please you: There are no more Wrath bosses amidst the remaining wild cards. In fact, neither of them have appeared in Two Bosses Enter before at all. They could be anything. Anything. %Poll-62565% In last week's matchup, we saw Grim Batol's Erudax clash with Throne of Tides' Lady Naz'jar. There was a clear winner throughout the voting process, though it wasn't nearly the landslide that was Ozruk's win at the beginning of the tournament weeks ago. %Gallery-119335% Follow along for the details of this week's matchup, as well as discussion on last week's matchup.

In Two Bosses Enter, WoW Insider's series of fantasy death matches, the bosses of World of Warcraft face off in the squared circle. Your vote determines who wins and claims the season title. No, ladies and gentlemen, you are not hallucinating. Due to popular demand Two Bosses Enter is making its comeback today, pitting boss against boss to separate the best from the rest. Every Monday we list the rules and abilities, then you vote for the winner. As each winning boss moves on, we create the new match up and the battle continues until only one boss is left standing. In this first season of the Cataclysm world tour, there are a few details of the format you should know about. Not every boss is included in this season of Two Bosses Enter. We've chosen 16 participants. If your favorites are missing from the roster, let us know in the comments and we'll try to include them next season. Of those 16 participants, you only know 12 of them. There are four wild cards in the roster, and you won't know who they are until the week they enter the ring for the first time. We've returned to a purely poll-based system of determining winners. However, particularly creative comments about the encounter will be highlighted when the winner is announced the following week. You can see this season's tournament ladder right here. %Gallery-119335% Now, on to the matchup: Ozruk versus Asaad! Ready? Fight! %Poll-61887%

Last week, the undead frost wyrm of Northrend, Sapphiron squared off against the Troll god of Zul'Gurub, Hakkar the Soulflayer in a neutral arena to see who is the top boss. Did the Blue Dragon freeze out the competition or did the Faceless One slither into victory?Though Hakkar has a mean damage/healing combo and an earlier Enrage timer, the votes confirm that Sapphiron's superior dps output and own healing & Enrage abilities would allow him to triumph over the Blood God. There was some debate about Hakkar's abilty to mind control the undead, but in the end only one boss leaves the arena. Sapphiron moves on to the final four where he will face off against the winner of our next Two Bosses Enter showdown. Who will win when the Firelord of Molten Core, Ragnaros goes up against Kel'Thuzad, the Archlich of the Plaguelands? Voting starts tomorrow.

Last week, two bosses entered a neutral Arena, the Old God C'thun and the bane of the Black Dragonflight, Gruul. Which one survived and which one got slaughtered in this battle of the boss mobs? Let's just say C'Thun and his eye laser of instant death means this Ahn'Qiraj raid mob has a shiny new Tier 4 Leggings token to turn in right about now with more than 75% of the vote. There was some rallying around Gruul's ability to withstand a beating, but most of his abilities were useless against a knockback resistant C'thun. This battle finishes up the second bracket of battles. We are now down to the final eight. Next up on Two Bosses Enter, the first battle of the bracket: Sapphiron , the undead frost wyrm vs. the Troll god of Zul'Gurub, Hakkar the Soulflayer.

Every week we pit two of the World of Warcraft's raid bosses against one another in a battle that your votes get to decide. This week we have Outland's own Gruul matching up against Ahn'qiraj's final boss C'Thun (and one of the hardest fights you'll find in Azeroth). Dragonkiller vs. Old God? This one should be interesting. How would these two fare against one another? Ultimately, that's for you to decide -- so read on and cast your vote!

Another week is upon us, which means another edition of Two Bosses Enter, our weekly deathmatch series, has come to a close. This week, Princess Huhuran overwhelmed Lady Vashj with 56% of the total vote. (Hmm... Vashj must have forgotten her nature resist set.) Though you might not think an oversized wasp could defeat a powerful Naga like Vashj, you've clearly never tangled with this particular insect: don't discount this bug's prowess (and nasty nature damage). Full details below: For more bosses fighting amongst themselves (hey, it's better than when they fight you, isn't it?), check back tonight for the next round of Two Bosses Enter, when Gruul will match up against C'Thun!

As you might guess from the image above, the Twin Emperors came out ahead in our last matchup, though the final votes were close. As usual, debate raged over the abilities each boss would be able to use, with complaints being raised over both the Twins' healing ability (which we considered out -- and come on, folks, if it were allowed, there wouldn't have been any point) and Chromaggus' breaths (which eventually turned the target into a drakonoid) considered in. In the end, however, the Twins winning by 40 votes. Interested in more boss on boss action? Check back tonight for the next fight in our line-up, Lady Vashj vs. Princess Huhuran!

Technically, this week, it's "two bosses leave" because we're wrapping up two separate fights. First up, Kel'Thuzad vs. Archimonde. This was a close fight, with a 14 votes (out of a total of 2508) separating the winner from the loser. As you might guess, opinions on the article were quite varied, with little consensus as to who would win or why -- but in the end, 14 more voters felt that Kel'Thuzad would be victorious. Our next fight pitted Vaelastrasz against Illidan -- and this one was pretty clear cut, with Illidan getting a comfortable 67% of the vote. (Though there was a good amount of debate over the fairness of the abilities included for consideration, both Vael's Burning Adrenaline and Illidan's Shear.) Tragic, really, as I was rooting for Vael. (As commenter George M. noted, "Vaelastrasz destroyed Guilds. True story.")If you enjoyed these fights, the next is set to be just as dramatic! Check back later to voice your opinion on the Twin Emperors against Chromaggus. (And check our brackets for the upcoming fight schedule.)
