Can't keep up on all of the news from Outland? That's okay, because WoW Insider has your back, keeping up with all the news from World of Warcraft so you don't have to. The biggest game news of the day could be summed up with a single story: Blizzard's new advertising campaign, featuring William Shatner and Mr. T, has all of the forums abuzz. (What can I say? We're an easily amused lot!) But Shatner's class choice isn't the only interesting thing happening! Also on WoW Insider: WoW Insider's weekly comic, /silly, asks all the hard questions. For example, "Why are they called Voidwalkers, when don't have any legs?" For a week in review without all of that pesky reading required, listen to episode 12 of the WoW Insider Show -- now available for download from WoW Radio and iTunes. Chances are you didn't know about the many dangers of Warcraft before reading this comic. This week's Build Shop covers a combat/mutilate spec for rogues. Have you been wondering why Zul'Aman gear for tanks has such low defense? In case you don't get enough drama in your day-to-day existance, GuildWatch is here every week to bring you the latest on all of the guild drama that can fit in a post.

The biggest news from yesterday in WoW was Blizzard's announcement that patch 2.4 should be hitting the test realms this year. Patch 2.2 landed in September, patch 2.3 in November, and with patch 2.4 scheduled to hit the test realms this month or next (implying a likely January launch), we're seeing patches coming out at a breakneck pace. Of course, we haven't yet heard much else about 2.4 and otherwise, the day's news is sparse, but WoW Insider still has plenty of feature content for you to enjoy. Want to win 60 free days in the World of Warcraft? All you have to do is enter WoW Insider's Caption This contest. Blizzard tells us that patch 2.4 should hit the test realms this year. In this week's Officers' Quarters, Scott talks about zero-pressure raiding. Two Bosses Enter continues in a series of fantasy deathmatches with a fight between C'Thun and Mother Shahraz. Rumor alert! Is WoW going free to play in China? This week's WoWspace shows off the down-to-earth gaming space of Erikmathew. UI of the week shows off the swank hunter interface of Kirrina.

Though weekends tend to be quiet time in Azeroth, with Blizzard news on standby until Monday and players busy raiding, PvPing, or just leveling, WoW Insider is dedicated to keeping you up to date with even the smallest Azerothian events. So without further ado, here's the latest from the World of Warcraft. News Daily battleground quests were introduced in patch 2.3, and we've got your guide to doing them. Also in patch 2.3 were daily heroic dungeon quests -- and with the patch less than a week on the live realms, we're already wondering whether the daily heroics are a bit repetitive. It's World of Warcraft's birthday this week -- who's buying the cake? Features and Discussion All the World's a Stage talks about how raiding and RP mix. Know Your Lore tells us everything we ever wanted to know about Gul'dan, the most evil character in Warcraft lore. In this week's Spiritual Guidance, Eliah talks about leveling a new shadow priest. When does the same old practical jokes go from being funny to being annoying?
