Compal's GPP2 projector phone
If you're willing to sacrifice a bit of portability -- well, a lot of portability -- you might be able to nab a projector phone before too long, instead of waiting for those pie-in-the-sky ideas to materialize. Taiwan's Compal Electronics was showing their "code name" GPP2 phone at Intel's 3GSM booth, and while monstrous, it does manage to project a dim 15-inch image. So if you really need to have that projector functionality, don't let something dumb like "tide influencing gravitational pull" stand in your way.
