Texas Instruments almost set to ship Android dev platform

Aside from the Android test platform we saw earlier this week, Texas Instruments has its Android development platform up and running and expects to be in a position to start shipping to developers -- yeah you, the programmers that will make our dreams come true -- in the next two months. To abuse an old adage, people who love cellphones or sausage shouldn't watch either being made. To people that actually work with this stuff, development platforms are a beautiful thing.

There is a really good chance your phone is using a TI chip, TI is HUGE in the cell phone business

hate to point this out....
but the article is lacking in a link to the aforementioned engadget mobile article with more information...
prolly a scheme to try to get a bit more people to actually visit the site, but i'm only interested enough to click a link, not scan thru random articles about phones (which either have or will be mentioned on this site) just to see a few pictures
