The Queue: PvP Power, More subs, Transmog by color

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Matthew Rossiwill be your host today.

Patch 6.0.2 allows you to basically kill Nefarian, Onyxia, Sinestra and Deathwing solo. You can basically wipe out the entire ruling lineage of the Black Dragonflight save for Sabellian and Wrathion in one evening, if you're so inclined.

Ineptone asks:
Is pvp power and resilience still left on pvp gear effective? I'm not sure if its just omitted from the character screen just in preperation to display level 100 stats or if its plain turned off.

Let's ask Brian Holinka.

So the answer is yes, those stats are still on the PvP gear, and they still work, but they won't be on PvP gear in Warlords and aren't on the character pane.

ebuzzy25 asks:
Q4tQ: What do you think Blizzard should do to get back to Wrath level WoW subscribers? Do you think they'll be able to get there again?

What should Blizzard do to get back to Wrath level WoW subscriptions?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It should never even cross their minds to try. What they should do is make the best game possible and not worry about subs, because the fact is, even if they'd lost 600,000 subs instead of gaining 600,000 subs, they'd still have over six million, which is about six times more than any other MMO in existence. As it stands, they have closer to eight times as many subs as their most recent rivals. WoW isn't even close to dying. They didn't get the players they have by trying to hit an arbitrary mark, and they shouldn't start now. They should just make the best possible MMO they can.

I don't think they'll ever hit 12 million subs again, because it's a different time and a game that's ten years old. WoW is almost unique. There's just never been an MMO like it in terms of popularity, and there likely won't ever be again.

Bugboy asks:
Q4tQ: what are the best transmog sites to find gear by color again? Trying to make up a red and orange/gold set for my paladin.

If you go to Icy Veins you can pretty easily look at every piece of gear wearable by a paladin by its appearance in game. The Mogit addon is also pretty useful. When trying to find pieces that match a particular set I often use Wowhead's transmogrification pages. I've never personally used WoW Roleplay Gear, but others have told me about it, it may be of use.

Zheo asks:
QFTQ: Panda or Tauren for tanking monk.

If you are playing Horde and you're not tauren you are doing it wrong. I refuse to even pretend to objectivity here. I have a preference, it's tauren, if you ask me "Should I play X race or tauren" I'm always going to say tauren unless X is draenei.

g0rg0n asks:
QFTQ: I got absolutely MURDERED in UBRS last night. 6 whipes. It was epic. I think the reason the group stayed together is there was ZERO corpse run. Is this the new normal for WoD dungeons? PLEASE say yes! 8)

It seems to be the general case that the corpse runs are shorter. Auchindoun still had a small one, but not terribly bad.

Sillystring asks:
Is all leather gear supposed to have INT and AGI on it now? Or will this change only effect gear coming into the game for WoD? I really want to switch a druid from boom to kitty without finding new gear...

That's a Warlords change. Siege gear doesn't have it.

And that's the Queue for this Friday. Sorry there were no Dinosaur questions this week. Maybe next week.
