Marc Perton has returned to Engadget after an all-too-lengthy hiatus, during which, among other things, he was Executive Editor of ConsumerReports.org, and helped integrate gdgt into the extended Engadget universe. During his earlier tenure at Engadget, he wrote about 2,000 post from 2004-2006, his favorite of which is Engadget 1985, a group effort with Peter Rojas, Ryan Block, and others.
