<p>A few months have gone by since YouTube began testing its "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/08/redesigned-youtube-channels-now-available/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">One Channel</a>" redesign in a private beta, after which Google allowed curious users to voluntarily opt in. But while some have been experiencing the next version of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/23/get-youtube-redesign-early-change-browser-cookie/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">the site's design</a> for awhile now, YouTube is about to make the transition mandatory. Starting June 5th, Google will flip the switch on the One Channel theme across the whole site. YouTube believes this is a good thing for all, as it's noticed a 20-percent page view increase on channels that have already opted in. For impatient folks who can't wait until next month, you can make your own One Channel now via the "opt in" link at the source below.</p>

<center><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/16/archos-xenon-80/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img alt="Archos intros Xenon 80 8inch tablet, delivers Jelly Bean and 3G for $200" data-src-height="418" data-src-width="619" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archosxenon80.jpg" /></a></center>

<p>Just in case that recently announced <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/14/archos-chefpad-android-tablet/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">ChefPad</a> wasn't suited to your tastes, Archos is now introducing a smaller, not-so-kitchen-friendly Android tablet, the Xenon 80. Naturally, the main highlight of this 8-inch slate is that it boasts 3G capabilities, and the company's quick to point out it's SIM-unlocked. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/archos/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Archos</a> also endowed the Xenon 80 with some decent specs, including a vanilla flavor of Google's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/28/android-4-1-jelly-bean-review-a-look-at-whats-changed-in-googl/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Jelly Bean</a>, an unnamed Qualcomm quad-core CPU, a 1,024 x 768 IPS display and 4GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB by way of a microSD slot). And as with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/18/archos-dips-into-android-smartphones/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">other recent Archos tablets</a>, the Xenon 80 carries the proper Google Play credentials, making it easy for you to have access to all your favorite apps. It'll cost a mere $200 when it hits shelves in June, which is on par with competing offerings. Now, whether it's worth taking the plunge, well, you'll have to make that call for yourself.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Archos 80 Xenon press shots</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/5885492?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archos80xenonambhidef1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/5885496?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archos80xenongappshidef3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/5885493?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archos80xenonbackhidef5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/5885494?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archos80xenoncamhidef4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/archos-80-xenon-press-shots/5885495?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/archos80xenonfacehidef2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></p>

<p>Considering it's not one of the company's key operations, it's safe to say AT&amp;T's been <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/23/att-q1-2013-earnings/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">successful</a> in its efforts to <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/15/disney-att-uverse-agreement/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">build out</a> U-verse. Now, in an effort to make life on the couch a little less complicated for subscribers, the Rethink Possible network is introducing an all-new On Demand storefront. With a focus on making content easier to discover, AT&amp;T says the UI will make for an intuitive way to navigate the menus. Additionally, you'll find some novel search tools that should make it easier to find movies and TV shows. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/uverse/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">U-verse</a> customers will now also see a "My" section, allowing them to quickly access rentals, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/07/att-u-verse-tv-screen-pack-ondemand/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">queued up flicks</a> and promos that AT&amp;T may be offering. The newfangled U-Verse On Demand will be available in more than 45 markets starting today, with more being expected to join "on an ongoing basis throughout the year."</p>

<p>It was only a couple of weeks ago that we got an early peek of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/01/sony-xperia-z-tmo-fcc/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">T-Mobile's Xperia Z</a> thanks to the FCC, but we've now already gotten word of another unannounced Sony handset. While the published FCC report doesn't offer much more than a label, <em>Blog of Mobile</em> has turned up some images of what's purported to be the Xperia UL (codenamed "Gaga"), giving us an early look at the 5-inch device clearly inspired by other <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/14/sony-xperia-sp-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">members of the family</a> design-wise. What's more, the UL is allegedly sporting <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/07/qualcomm-snapdragon-800-and-600-chips/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600</a> chip, along with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a 2,300mAh battery and waterproof / dustproof attributes (these being common Japanese standards). Word on the internet is the Xperia UL will be launching as a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/kddi/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">KDDI</a> exclusive, though we'll have to wait for something more concrete to see if that's indeed the case. Until then, you can peruse the gallery after the break to get a slight idea of what to expect.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Sony Xperia UL</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/5885341?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/t022002990483065612539238654_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/5885342?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/t022003030435059912539238655_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/5885343?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/t022003340400060812539238657_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/5885344?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/t022003370379058112539238656_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sony-xperia-ul-at-the-fcc/5885345?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/t022003770354060612539238658_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></p>

How about five? Well, that's exactly what Mr. Adib Towfiq has done, mounting a few of these bizarre frames to his head and, luckily for us, he took to Mountain View's social network to share it with the world. Now, he asks, "Am I doing it right?" If anything, we'd say this is certainly a step <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/21/caption-contest-sony-future-of-commuting-3d-visors/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">in the right direction</a>.</p>

<p>It's just been a few weeks since Netflix for iOS was suited with a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/22/netflix-updates-ios-app-episode-selector/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">novel audio menu and episode selector</a>, but the app has now already reached version 4.1. While this particular release isn't as major as, say, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/14/netflix-updates-ios-app-with-new-ipad-optimized-interface/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">v2.0</a>, some of the post-play features that have rolled out <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/15/netflix-post-play-ps3-web/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">on TV connected devices and PCs</a> are trickling down to the mobile platforms. Namely, once an episode is over, the next one starts playing automatically without any intervention required (it requires a prompt to proceed after every other episode). In the case of movies, you can expect to see a new recommended selection once the credits roll, and Netflix also promises some other more minor improvements elsewhere in the app, including under the hood tweaks to its second screen experience. Finally, Netflix also announced today that it's signed a multi-year deal for five Disney Junior and Disney XD shows: <em>Jake and the Never Land Pirates</em>, <em>Tron: Uprising</em>, <em>Handy Manny</em>, <em>Special Agent Oso</em>, and <em>JoJo's Circus</em>.</p>

Naturally, this means the former flagship is getting an injection of new features and improvements -- namely, that revamped Start screen with flexible tiles. Users will also enjoy various enhancements to the lock screen, including the option to use Bing's image of the day as a wallpaper. Rounding out the list are various other under-the-hood tweaks to make the experience smoother and help close the gap with current <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/12/htc-one-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">smartphone powerhouses</a>. <p>Klipsch is known for offering everything from <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/10/klipsch-image-s4-ii-x7i-ears-on/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">well-designed headphones</a> to <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/24/klipsch-refreshes-quintet-5-1-home-theater-system/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">home theater systems</a>, but the audio-focused outfit has been staying away from producing relatively portable Bluetooth speakers. That all changed back at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/event/ces2013/articles/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">this year's CES</a> when Klipsch outed the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/08/klipsch-music-center-kmc3-stadium-ces/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">KMC 3</a> as part of its Music Center lineup, which we're now finding out will be priced at $400 (or $399.99, to be precise) when it hits store shelves this coming June. In return for your hard-earned cash, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Klipsch/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Klipsch's</a> first Bluetooth-equipped soundbox (apt-X and AAC) will give you a 2.1 assortment that's loaded with 2-inch, full-range drivers, a zippy 5.25-inch subwoofer and a battery capable of running up to 26 hours -- this, according to the company, makes for a system "perfectly designed for powerful, accurate sound reproductions." Don't mind the hefty price tag? Then make the source link below your next stop if you're interested in snagging one of these.</p>

<p class="p1">Along with claiming more than 200 million users worldwide, Viber's also taking this day to announce what it is referring to as the biggest update <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/04/viber-voip-iphone-app-3g-calling-no-registration-and-totally/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">to the service</a> yet. For starters, the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/07/24/viber-voip-iphone-android-app-version-2-2/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Viber for Android and iOS</a> applications have both been on the receiving end of a pretty meaningful refresh, following <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/13/mobile-miscellany/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">the recent introduction</a> of VoIP calling on older versions of BlackBerry OS. An all-new desktop app will, as of today, also be available to Viber users on a Mac or PC (Linux coming soon, we're told), packing in most of the features the service is well-known for but in a less-mobile form.</p>

<p class="p1">Folks using Viber's iOS and Android apps will see many changes to the overall user experience in version 3.0, including added support for video messages, a novel voice engine to help improve call quality, the ability to check contacts' online status and a completely redesigned interface. Meanwhile, the newly minted Viber Desktop features video calling and seamlessly integrates / syncs with the mobile offerings -- which makes things like being able to transfer ongoing voice calls between devices possible. While chatting with the company's CEO, Talmon Marco, he told us development for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/30/blackberry-os-10-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">BlackBerry 10</a> is in its "advanced stages," adding that the latest <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/viber/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Viber</a> apps were built from the ground up and are all part of the goal to be better than other competing platforms.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Viber 3.0</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/5861746?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/1-on-1-conversation_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/5861747?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/callscreen1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/5861748?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/call-screen_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/5861749?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/groupconversation_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/viber-3-0/5861750?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/05/group_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></p>

<p>Despite having recently introduced the likes of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/19/netflix-hemlock-grove/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><em>Hemlock Grove</em></a> and <em>House of Cards</em>, Netflix isn't standing still: it's boosting its original content with yet another production, <em>Orange is the New Black</em>. The new comedic drama series, created by <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/weeds/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><em>Weeds</em>' </a>own Jenji Kohan, is set to start streaming to <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/22/netflix-added-3-million-subscribers-worldwide-in-q1-plans-to-le/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Netflix subscribers</a> worldwide beginning July 11th. Similar to Netflix's <em>House of Cards</em>, <em>Orange is the New Black</em> consists of 13 episodes running at around 60 minutes -- however, the main story here won't be based on <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/01/netflix-streaming-house-of-cards-premiere-free/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">drama coming out of D.C.</a>, but rather a "world populated with unforgettable characters and no-holds-barred humor set against the backdrop of a women's prison." Be sure to peruse the PR after the break, where you'll find more particulars about the plot, as well as the full cast list.</p>

Earlier today, <a href="http://drippler.com/">Drippler</a> announced an iOS equivalent is now available, which will bring many of the features that made it as popular as it is on Android. What this means, essentially, is the application will tailor itself for your particular device, helping discover different types of things which <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/08/spindle-discovery-app-for-iphone/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">relate to you</a> -- such as tips, games, services and news articles. At any rate, it'll be folks like yourself who determine whether Drippler can also be a hit on iOS, so feel free to sound off in the comments below after you've taken it for a quick whirl.</p>

But, if you're a fan of comedy, things are about to get a tad bit better: on May 19th, YouTube's set to launch its own Comedy Week, a first for the Google-owned video giant. As part of the various live streams, online viewers will be able to enjoy "a mix" of stand-up sets, sketches and music shows -- which includes performances by a slew of well-known productions and comedians, such as <em>Funny or Die</em>, <em>CollegeHumor</em>, <em>Improv Everywhere</em>, Ed Helms, Seth Rogen, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/04/netflix-may-26th-launch-date-for-new-arrested-development/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><strike>George-Michael</strike></a> Michael Cera and many, many more.</p><p> According to YouTube, the goal for Comedy Week is to "create a one of a kind experience" for those who love the genre, with VP of Marketing Danielle Tiedt adding that the site is indeed "the home of comedy for the next generation." Chances are it'll be a week filled with plenty of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/24/omg-fyi-and-lol-enter-oxford-english-dictionary-foreshadow-th/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">LOLs</a>, so perhaps you should take this time to bookmark the corresponding channel -- link for <em>that </em>can be found in the PR after the break.</p>

Shortly after outing a couple of new features that make the service a little more <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/25/google-drive-lets-teams-add-friends-start-chats-easily/?utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">friendly with collaborators</a>, Google's rather quietly taken to its own social network to announce some offline tidbits. Starting today, users of Mountain View's cloud-based storage goods can easily create and edit any drawings without the need for an internet connection. What's more, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/28/google-announces-offline-editing-for-docs-available-later-today/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Docs</a>, Sheets and Slides will now be automatically available offline -- something that should come in very handy while you're, say, 20,000 feet <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/05/confirmed-airtime-video-chatting-works-in-the-air-on-gogo-in/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">up in the air</a> with no Gogo in sight. Fret not if you don't see these changes the next time you log in, as Google says "it may take a few days" before the rollout is carried out.</p>

Now, continuing its ongoing efforts to make the application as good as can be, the microblogging site has released a new version for iPhone, iPod touch and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/12/19/tumblr-for-ipad/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">iPad owners</a>. As of today, Tumblr for iOS will now allow posts to be shared via email and a few major social networks -- including, as you'd expect, Facebook and Twitter. In addition, v3.3.1 brings added integration with Pocket and Instapaper, giving users the ability to save content to either service for offline reading at a later time. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/23/windows-phone-tumblr-app/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Busy</a> couple of days, eh, Tumblr?</span></p>

And just <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/24/jak-and-daxter-collection-hits-na-feb-7-europe-feb-22/">as it did</a> with the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/08/playstation-3-review-late-2012/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">PS3</a>, the Japanese electronics maker has now announced that a remastered collection of <em>Jak and Daxter</em> is headed to the PS Vita as well, which includes <em>Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy</em>, <em>Jak II </em>and <em>Jak 3. </em>The trilogy's said to be debuting on the PlayStation Vita at some point in June of this year for $29.99 in North America, or a corresponding <span>&euro;29.99 for those located across the pond in Europe. Not too bad a price to pay for some <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/05/13/retro-mini-handheld-plays-nes-cartridges-brings-tears-of-nostal/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">nostalgia-filled gaming</a> sessions, eh?</span></p>
