The Worms Collection includes Worms ($1.99), Worms: Armageddon ($7.49), Worms: Blast ($1.99), Worms: Crazy Golf ($2.49), Worms: Pinball ($1.99), Worms: Reloaded ($4.99) along with its Forts, Puzzle, Time Attack and Retro packs for $1.24 each, Worms: Revolution and its season pass for $7.49 each, Worms: Ultimate Mayhem ($3.74) and the game's single player DLC ($4.24) as well as its multiplayer pack and customization pack, each discounted to $1.49. One game that isn't part of the pack is the latest from Team17, Worms: Clan Wars, which is $12.49 on its own. The game is free to play until 1:00pm PT on Sunday, so players that act fast can get a taste of the game before buying it at a discount. Team17 recently announced that it would publish its first third-party game in nearly two decades, a stealthy game called Light by Just a Pixel.

  • Humble Bundle with Android 7: Incredipede, Anodyne, Ticket to Ride

Humble Bundle with Android 7 includes six games (for now) and their soundtracks, available on PC, Mac, Linux and Android: Incredipede, Anodyne, Greed Corp, Ticket to Ride plus USA 1910 DLC, Worms Reloaded and The Bard's Tale. The first four titles are available for whatever price you want, while Worms Reloaded and The Bard's Tale are unlocked by paying more than the average. This strategy also unlocks any games that are added before the bundle's time is up in two weeks – and yes, there will be more games. Grab Steam keys for each title by paying $1 or more. Customers can allocate whatever amount they decide to pay among the developers, Humble itself or charity. It's going well so far – Incredipede developer Colin Northway notes that in the Humble Bundle's first 15 minutes, sales surpassed Incredipede's launch day numbers, and in 20 minutes it sold more than the game's first day on Steam.

Good news for Worms fans this week, as Team 17 has revealed new downloadable content packs for Worms: Reloaded on PC. Altogether, there are four packs to be had, including the Puzzle, Forts, Time Attack and Retro packs. Each pack includes new single-player missions, hats, gravestones, speech banks, landscape themes, and achievements. For a "limited time," each DLC pack costs $4.24 apiece, 15 percent off the usual price. A note for Mac users: the DLC is only compatible with the PC version of Worms: Reloaded. Team17 tells Joystiq that work began on the DLC "quite a long time ago when the game was solely a PC title," and thus the packs are incompatible with the Mac version. Team17 currently has no plans to bring the DLC to the Mac version, but will "see what happens." In addition to the new DLC, the full Worms: Reloaded game is part of the Steam Summer Camp Sale. It can currently be purchased for $10, half the normal price. %Gallery-127579%

Are you the player in your Team Fortress 2 group known not just for proficiency in a certain class, but in the special skill of hat storytelling as well? If so, you're a shoo-in for Valve's latest contest. "Fans have been mailing us for some time now," Valve said on the TF2 blog, "asking for a contest that didn't involve modeling or level design. So now they get their wish. That's right: you'll be competing over who can describe hats the best." The full details can be found here, but essentially, you can send in a description of one of the game's hats, and Valve might use it in the game. In addition to tales of headwear, Valve also announced a bonus for TF2 fans who buy Worms Reloaded: Holy Hand Grenade accessories and a new helmet for the Soldier. Buy Reloaded before September 2 to get access to these (purely decorative) items.

You've seen quite a bit of Worms: Reloaded lately, but not any single player -- 'til now. We've got footage showcasing the many isolationist modes, but the best part of this trailer are the groovy, afro-sporting soft-bodied invertebrates causing chaos. Boogie on past the break to see what we mean.

  • Worms Reloaded beta going worldwide on Monday

News from the Steam Community tells us that Worms Reloaded, that new "extended" version of the old game in which sentient invertebrates do battle with rockets and/or sheep, is moving up to a worldwide beta. Previously, the game was only available for testing in Europe, but it's opening it up globally on Monday, so children of all nations will be able to throw airstrikes and ninja ropes at each other then. The only catch? You need a key, and they've only got a few. So you'll just have to hope you come up when they spin the random numbers around. We do know that you have to be a member of the official group, so sign in over there right now ... and then begins the waiting game. [via LA Examiner]

  • Worms Reloaded is 'an extended edition' of XBLA, PSN versions

Remember that "new" edition of Worms that Team 17 announced for Steam? It turns out that it may not be that "new" after all, which isn't a bad thing. Big Download did a little sleuthing and discovered that the game is actually based on the recent versions that have appeared on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Specifically, Team 17's Facebook page notes that Worms Reloaded will be "an extended edition of the console versions of late." Again, however, the studio leaves any other details to your expansive imagination. In other words, it's time to start arguing about why it's absolutely essential that Reloaded includes your favorite weapon. Not your stupid best friend's favorite weapon though. That thing totally ruins the game, Stephen!

  • New 2D Worms game squirming its way to Steam

A recent tweet from Team 17's Martyn Brown has revealed that everyone's favorite combative invertebrates will soon star in a new 2D outing on Steam, titled Worms Reloaded. That's literally all we know about the game at the moment, though Brown's tweet promises more details soon. Until then, we're left to worry that it's going to be an all-annelid remake of The Matrix: Reloaded, which would be totally awesome, until, of course, the big rave/orgy scene.
