The PlayStation Vita Development panel featured a lineup of veteran Vita developers, who for an hour espoused the benefits of working with Sony and getting a game on its handheld platform. The panel featured Brian Provinciano of Retro City Rampage, Bobby King of Pinball Arcade, Chris Harvey of Guacamelee and Richard Hogg of Frobisher Says, and it was moderated by Gaijin Games' Alex Neuse.Neuse was interested in the panelists' answers since Runner 2 is on its way to Vita sometime in the summer. To help set his mind at ease, he asked the developers if their next games would show up on Vita."Yes," they all said. "Absolutely," one of them added. When Neuse later asked the crowd who was considering developing for Vita, a sea of hands shot straight up. For those interested in developing for Vita, a Sony representative suggested this website.

Heard all of what Frobisher has to say? That's how they get you; now that you've had the free taste, a premium (see: it costs money) supplement is waiting in the wings. Enter the Super Fun DLC pack, which adds 15 new microgames to Frobisher Says' WarioWare-inspired lexicon for $1.99.On top of the DLC, there's also a free patch out that adds Trophies and puts games into categories, so you can avoid those that use the microphone or camera, for example. Hopefully this will eliminate the need for awkward shouting on the bus or train – awkward shouting from you, anyway.

Frobisher Says was given away on Vita in Europe at launch, but North American Vita owners have had to wait for their opportunity to play what is basically indie WarioWare. Now, SCEA will publish the microgame collection on October 23 – for free. The over 50 microgames force players to manipulate the Vita in every possible way to fulfill challenges like washing a dog or scratching the mascot's back, basically frantically pawing at the Vita until you figure it out. In addition, up to eight players can play together, all panicking as they figure out how to achieve the insane goals.

PlayStation Blog Europe reintroduces us to two Vita games/apps that you might have forgotten about: Frobisher Says and t@g. Frobisher Says is an absurd microgame collection in which up to 8 players pass a Vita around and take on weird tasks assigned by the title character. Examples include "poke an otter with a stick", "deliver my pudding on a toy train", and "smile at some ladies (but not at the badgers!)" As all minigame collections do, this uses all of the Vita's control features.T@g is an AR app that lets you leave graffiti in real-world locations, which other Vita users can view through the app. Doing so earns you -- we can't believe we're about to type this -- currency called "t@ggits."Frobisher will be a free download for European pre-orderers this month, and be available for everyone else (in Europe) in May. T@g will be on PSN in Europe in May and can only be used with the 3G Vita (because of its GPS use).

If you haven't had enough PlayStation Vita media yet, here's an "absurd new game": Frobisher Says, a sort of WarioWare-style collection from developer Honeyslug. It appears to differentiate itself from other microgame collections with a really quirky art style, and this much, much quirkier trailer. According to the trailer, you'll fight bears, stir soups, and smash your face into a cake as it goes by on a model train. Now that we think about it, we could have said that part first and the quirk would have been self-evident.
