Let's see if you can find a theme in this week's WiiWare and DSiWare downloads: There's a casual strategy title, pinball, a notebook application and, finally, a hidden object game. Well? Have you figured out the theme? No? Well, please let us know once you do. We're having a little trouble ourselves. Click past the jump for more details about this week's downloadable releases.

And Yet It Moves, Broken Rules's cardboard-style, world-rotating platformer, is available for download on WiiWare in Europe today. You'll have to move 1,000 Wii Points out of your account to purchase the game, which came out this Monday in North America. WiiWare is also host to Tales of Elastic Boy Mission 1, a 600-Point sort-of platformer starring a little slime creature that can roll and attach to objects with its stretchy arms. Meanwhile, DSiWare in Europe has myNotebook Carbon and myNotebook Pearl, two variations of Nnooo's notebook app. Also available: Where's Wally? Travel Pack 1. Yes, Wally. He always seems to be hidden behind Waldo.

We're calling it: the Virtual Console is dead. There have been two games this summer. If there are any more, consider them stragglers. Nintendo, if you'd like to prove us wrong by stepping up the Virtual Console release schedule from "almost never" to "occasionally," please feel free. There are still DSiWare and WiiWare games, though, including Divergent Shift (formerly Reflection), the long-awaited puzzle platformer about navigating two mirrored versions of the same character across different terrains simultaneously.

Nintendo announced its 500th downloadable Wii game today, reserving the honor for Super Smash Bros. Or, we suppose, for any of the other Virtual Console or WiiWare games released today. But Nintendo says it's Super Smash Bros., and that certainly seems like a more special way to celebrate a milestone than, say, the arcade version of Ninja Gaiden. See all the WiiWare, Virtual Console, and DSiWare releases after the break.

There's some classic platforming to be had in both Rayman and Shinobi in this week's Nintendo downloads, and even a way to deal with Jack's overabundance of stress in Stop Stress: A Day of Fury. There's over ten titles in all, so cruise past the break for the full list.

Nintendo celebrates Thanksgiving by dropping a massive feast onto the table of every Wii and DSi owner in North America. The next Bit.Trip game is now available on WiiWare, DSiWare receives another heaping serving of Electroplankton, and Virtual Console welcomes ... Super Mario Kart. We guess when Nintendo said "by year's end" it meant "next week." See the full, seasonally appropriate bounty after the break.

The WiiWare demo service arrives in Europe today, though a bit light on content compared to other regions. On the upside, both of the demos offered are for games that cost 1,500 Wii Points, which means you could save a pretty large chunk of change if you discover (somehow) that you don't like World of Goo. In terms of stuff you pay for, Shootanto is going to be totally overshadowed by Pokemon Rumble. DSiWare has a decent selection of games, including something that looks kind of like Defend Your Castle, a few card games, and myNotebook. Pokemon Rumble (WiiWare, 1-4 players, 1,500 Wii Points) Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem (WiiWare, 1-2 players, 500 Wii Points) Army Defender (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) A Little Bit of ... All-Time Classics: Strategy Games (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points) myNotebook: Blue (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Uno (DSiWare, 1-6 players, 500 DSi Points) Demos: Pokemon Rumble, World of Goo (free)
