Every week, WoW Insider brings you Blood Pact for affliction, demonology, and destruction warlocks. This week, Megan O'Neill laments being knocked successfully up past the Suppression Room, only to pull the boss and be knocked back down and across the Suppression Room while the original knockback mobs die. UGH. Well, Naxxramas is big enough that I'll leave a whole article to it. The other raids from the original raiding scene of level 60 can fit into one since they're relatively easy to do. The roadblocks to finishing them are largely mechanical tricks, not damage output or survivability problems. There's no real difference between the specs in these earliest raids. I run as destruction mostly because it's fast-paced, but any spec and almost any talent setup can do these raids.

As you might guess from the image above, the Twin Emperors came out ahead in our last matchup, though the final votes were close. As usual, debate raged over the abilities each boss would be able to use, with complaints being raised over both the Twins' healing ability (which we considered out -- and come on, folks, if it were allowed, there wouldn't have been any point) and Chromaggus' breaths (which eventually turned the target into a drakonoid) considered in. In the end, however, the Twins winning by 40 votes. Interested in more boss on boss action? Check back tonight for the next fight in our line-up, Lady Vashj vs. Princess Huhuran!

Two bosses may enter... but only one will get to leave in WoW Insider's fantasy deathmatch series. Every week we pit two of Azeroth's raid bosses against one another in a battle that your votes get to decide. This week we have Ahn'Qiraj's Twin Emperors going up against Blackwing Lair's Chromaggus. • One Boss Leaves: The Four Horsemen vs. The Twin Emperors wrap-up

In our closest match to date, the Twin Emperors are walking away with a very narrow victory over the Four Horsemen. In fact, they won by only 12 votes -- out of a total of 1700! However, a victory is a victory. Commenters cite the twins' ability to heal one another as a major deciding factor in the fight -- because while the horsemen can certainly dish out the damage with their stacking debuffs, the twins are capable of so much healing that they might not even notice it. Later today we'll talk about our next boss fight, but until then, you can take a look at our most recent standings. (Note: These are completely subject to change -- and to keep the fights interesting, the second tier of fights will probably have to be mixed around.)

Two bosses enter... but only one of them will get to leave in WoW Insider's own series of fantasy deathmatches. We've made a list of 32 of the the most dangerous and the most interesting bosses within the World of Warcraft and now we're pitting them against each other one at a time. In the end, we'll wind up with a single winner to claim victory over all others. And the best part? You get to decide who wins -- your vote tells us who wins and loses each round.Today's matchup pits The Four Horsemen from Naxxramas against the Twin Emperors from Ahn'Qiraj -- while this does make it a two on one, I don't think anyone can argue that it's not a fair fight. Want to learn a little more about these bosses -- and have your chance to voice an opinion about which one might come out on top in a fight? Read on!

  • Additional Ahn'Qiraj Tweaks

Another C'thun hotfix (which should be live world-wide) has fixed a bug that was causing Giant Eye Tentacles to spawn during C'thun's weakened state in stage 2.  (If there are already tentacles spawned, they will not despawn - but you shouldn't see any new ones.)  Also, the time between tentacle spawns has been increased.  This is less than a week since the last change to the C'thun encounter, and we're still all waiting for that world first. Also, and perhaps more interestingly, Blizzard is implementing a way for players who have defeated the Twin Emperors or Ouru to return to where they were in the instance in the case of a wipe.  If you've never been to Ahn'Qiraj, this may sound trivial, but I can certainly confirm that there's nothing worse for raid morale than a ten minute run back to where you were in the instance.  Of course, everyone who hasn't yet gotten the Twin Emperors down is still stuck with a long walk (though the Ahn'Qiraj-only mounts do help).
