Want a beach-ready body along the stylings of Chun-Li or Daddy Ryu? Capcom is here to help. In curious exercise of branding, it's announced a selection of gym equipment (loosely) inspired by a few Street Fighter 5 challengers. You can pick from weighted gloves (Ryu or Ken 'flavors'), a training tube that has Guile's endorsement and an M. Bison inflatable punching bag, with targets for high middle and lower attacks. Naturally. There's also delightful yellow- and red-colored dumbbells for everyone's favorite hairy wrestler, Zangief, although a man of his size needed more than a 10kg bicep curl to get that swole.

  • Street Fighter X Tekken bar brawl teases Rufus, Marshall Law, Zangief

Capcom's cinematics department must be working on permanent mandatory overtime, as yet another character trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken has been revealed by Famitsu. Mostly concerned with Street Fighter 4's Rufus, the latest trailer (above) also corroborates previous teasers which hinted at everyone's favorite Underoos spokesman, Zangief. Marshall Law also makes an appearance, albeit in a more gaseous form. We figure you'd have to be pretty damn sloshed to mistake Tekken's portly prodigy Bob Richards for Street Fighter's hardbodied heart-throb Ken Masters, but they are both blonde Americans, and we're willing to accept virtually any contrived excuse that allows Capcom characters to battle their direct Namco counterparts.

You see them every day on the streets, or on Kotaku, but we've learned to turn a blind eye to them. "Oh sure," you think, "Zangief statuettes are sad, but surely someone else will take them in. Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?" But look at what that cycle of neglect has done to the poor things. You're killing them.In the last quarter of this year, you'll finally be able to stop the cycle, when PopCultureShock allows you to put a roof over the head of one of these lost souls. For just $375, you can have Street Fighter II-era Zangief glowering at you for the rest of your natural life, and can you really put a price on that? Well, besides $375, obviously.

"Zangief battled many enemies in his life before Street Fighter II. All have fallen beneath lumbering boots of Zangief at one time or another. But sometimes, there is battle that even Zangief cannot win. One that doesn't take place in frozen tundras against polar bears. Zangief speak of greater struggle. A struggle that lives not in physical world, but in human heart. This is Zangief Chronicles."We don't know why Zangief Chronicles exists, but we're glad it does. Sent to Capcom as a New Year's gift, this video series reveals some juicy details on the life (and loves!) of everyone's favorite shirtless Russian Street Fighter. You can catch all the episodes here.[Via Capcom-Unity]

She may lack the twinkle in Kristin Kreuk's eye, but any lack in feminine wiles are more than made up for in burlap charm. Sony has confirmed earlier rumors that Chun Li and company will be taking their fight to LittleBigPlanet as the platformer's latest adorable costumes. Available Thursday from the PlayStation Store, the set will include Sackitized Street Fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Zangief. The outfits will set you back $1.99 each. Earlier this month, Capcom hinted at a "little" surprise they'd be dropping on the PSN during the holiday season, leading many fans to the conclusion that Street Fighter's iconic brawlers would soon be inhabiting LittleBigPlanet. RipTen recently spotted what may be the first images of the suggested costumes on Spanish PlayStation community site PSNow -- including adorable, Sackitized versions of Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief and Ryu.It's unclear where PSNow dug up the images, but they certainly look legitimate. However, you should take time to view the rumored costumes while you still can, as SCEE has asked a number of sites to take the images down. Make of that what you will -- we're fairly certain it has something to do with the indecent nature of Sack-Zangief's exposed Sack-nipples.[Via 1UP]

Valentine's Day is swiftly approaching, like a bullet train made out of chalky hearts and overpriced chocolate. How are you planning on spending yours? Gents, perhaps you're taking your special lady out for a candlelit dinner and a romantic comedy, perhaps starring Matthew McConaughey, or Jennifer Lopez, or both. Ladies, maybe you have a special evening at home planned for your man, involving a sizable steak and a selection of the most sensual massage oils.Well, screw that noise. You should be traveling to Japan on St. Hallmark's Day, where the cool kids will be attending the AOU 2008 Amusement Expo in an attempt to get a look at (and possibly play a few rounds of) Street Fighter IV before the rest of the world. Doors will open for industry people on the 15th of February, and for the rest of the Hadouken-hungry crowd on the 16th. Sure, you might be spending your Valentine's Day alone in a Japanese hotel, but you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you were the first kid on your block to play one of the biggest titles of 2008.After all, who needs love when you have Zangief?
