You may have already seen Engadget posting reviews from our friends at The Wirecutter. Now, from time to time, we'll also be publishing their recommended deals on some of their top picks. Read on, and strike while the iron is hot -- some of these sales could expire mighty soon.

Sony DSC-RX100 Digital Camera

Street Price: $450; MSRP: $500; Deal Price: $398

This deal matches the lowest price we've seen on this Sony digital camera. It's only been this cheap once before, and that was all the way back in April. The sale price doesn't include any accessories, but shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

The Sony DSC-RX100 is our pick for the best point-and-shoot camera under $500. Tim Barribeau said, "The RX100 has the largest sensor in its size and price class, meaning you'll take great images in low light. Plus, it's small enough to fit in your pant pocket."

Samsung 850 Pro 512GB Solid State Drive

Street Price: $225; MSRP: $260; Deal Price: $200 after code ESCKANV23

The best price we've seen to date on this SSD. You'll need a Newegg login to use the code, and then you can just enter ESCKANV23 in your shopping cart. We've seen this drive dropping slowly over recent months, hitting a previous low of $210 over at Amazon.

The Samsung 850 Pro 512GB Solid State Drive is our step-up pick in our best SSD guide. Nathan Edwards said, "The 850 Pro has everything you could possibly want in an SSD. Its performance is better than any other drive on the 6Gbps SATA interface, especially in real-world consumer benchmarks. It's consistent. It's rated for 150TB of writes—more than any other consumer SSD. It has full disk self-encryption. It has a 10-year warranty It's from the company that has put out some of the best SSDs of the past few generations on both the mainstream and enthusiast sides."

WD My Cloud Mirror 4TB Personal Cloud Storage

Street Price: $270; MSRP: $300; Deal Price: $240

Here's a new low price on this Western Digital cloud storage device. We've never seen it drop below $260 in the past, making this a hefty discount. Shipping is free for Amazon Prime members.

The WD My Cloud Mirror 4TB is the user-friendly pick in our guide on the best network-attached storage devices. Samara Lynn writes, "The Western Digital My Cloud Mirror could be called 'a NAS for those who have never used a NAS.' Write speed is about average, but read speed is excellent. It lacks the features of other NAS devices tested, but it's super user-friendly."

Classic Super-Fast Thermapen Thermometer

Street Price: $83; MSRP: $100; Deal Price: $73

This is an older model of the Thermapen that we've recommended before but no longer do simply because a newer, fancier model has come out. You'll save $10 off the street price with this deal from manufacturer ThermoWorks, and we've included the mandatory $4 shipping fee in the price.

The Classic Thermapen is mentioned in an update to our guide on the best instant-read thermometers. Kevin Purdy writes, "The 'Classic' lacks the automatic lighting, rotation, and power-off display of the newer Thermapen Mk4, recommended in an upcoming update to our instant-read thermometer guide. But the Classic has the same speed, reach, and well-earned reputation, and is worth the price to a discerning home cook."

Deals change all the time, and some of these may have expired. To see an updated list of current deals, please go to The Wirecutter.com.
