It's a great laptop. It has beautiful screen and is plenty fast. It's much more portable than most laptop but not as portable as my Nec Lavie Z. Of course, the beautiful screen and portability means that I get expandability as a trade off. The battery life gets me through the day but pales in comparison to the New Macbook

Much more portable than the 15" version (and much more affordable), if you don't need the bigger screen but still want Retina this is the way to go.
