Engadget Review

Google’s latest Chromecast is a massive upgrade over its predecessors. It finally has a remote control, plus a whole new Google TV interface that’s easier to use. It supports 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It’s especially great for YouTube TV subscribers and is currently one of a few streaming platforms to support HBO Max. It doesn’t support Apple TV+ however, and it’s occasionally quite sluggish. Nevertheless, the new Chromecast with Google TV is so much improved over previous iterations that it’s definitely the best Chromecast yet.
