Feedback submitted!Unable to submit feedback! I've had this phone since December 2007. I just recently added a data plan to it, but more on that later. This is a 3G phone with a 2mp camera and in slider-fashion. The silver finish looks good, which is one of the main reasons why I initially liked it.Beyond looks, the phone has its flaws. First off, the keypad is extremely flat! This doesn't make texting any easier. While it is fine for composing short messages, typing longer ones can just be a pain at times. You get used to it, but it would have liked to seen some better tactile feedback to make it a bit more comfortable. Secondly, this phone has suddenly shut down on me on several occasions. I then needed to remove the battery and turn it on again. There was no malfunction, but irritating at times. The battery door also scratches very easily, so don't expect it to remain in pristine condition forever. However, the Shine does have a nice 2mp camera, which I've taken several nice shots with. I save them on my micro SD card and load them to my computer, which is very convenient. Also, the phone handles web browsing pretty decently, even though it is not meant for heavy use. I had Opera Mini on this phone and just started using it. I liked it so much I decided to add the $10 at&t data plan (convenient when on the go/in emergency). It is perfectly adequate for checking mobile sites, such as Google, Amazon, and Yahoo, but it can also render full sites, which is quite nice. The phone can also handle different applications. I downloaded TinyTwitter (java-based Twitter client) and it works fine. Also, I downloaded a Gmail app, and checking and refreshing my inbox is easy to do, although when composing messages, it takes a couple more seconds. No biggie, considering I'm using a dumbphone. Overall, after have this phone for nearly two years, I've learned to like it for what it is and all it can do. Is it perfect? Not at all. But for what it can do, I am happy and even impressed at times with my LG Shine.
