Engadget Review

NVIDIA’s RTX 2070 Super is a mid-range card any enthusiast can love. It offers a similar amount of performance as last year’s RTX 2080 for hundreds less. It’s the ideal option if you need higher framerates for a 120Hz or 144Hz gaming monitor.

The new RTX Super lineup will definitely turn up the heat on AMD pricing their RX 5700 XT at $450 (for now). The RX 5700 XT will definitely not be able to match RTX 2070 Super performance, and we're having doubts about whether thermals or noise will end up being comparable, which could make the $50 price increase to the Super very justifiable for potential customers, or force AMD to reduce their pricing.

Nvidia jumped ahead of the new NAVI launch by AMD and delivers some serious price/perf contenders. Now will it be enough to keep the lead in the GPU race?

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super brings better performance to the table, along with a lower price point, making it a much more compelling purchase for more everyday users.

The GeForce RTX 2070 Super is everything that was good about the 2070, plus about 10-15 percent more performance, at the same price.

Packing near-RTX 2080 performance and similar specs, Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2070 Super rules for solid 4K play at 60Hz and high-refresh gameplay at 1440p. It's a killer card for the money.

I’m just not sure the RTX 2070 Super is really worth it. Like, it is better, just, and I must admit that Nvidia’s new Super RTX game bundle does help sweeten the deal slightly ... the cheapest RTX 2070 is $20 cheaper than the RTX 2070 Super’s entry-level price.

In short, though, the RTX 2070 Super is a great buy, and even better if you'll be dabbling in DLSS and ray-tracing.

NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER is here and provides $1199 performance from the TITAN Xp for $499, while custom cards are around the corner and kick even more ass.

Initially, we derided Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2070 Founders Edition ... The GeForce RTX 2070 Super fixes that with the higher frame rates we wanted to see back when Turing first launched. Apparently, it took an act of AMD to get Nvidia thinking about value. But now we can enjoy Nvidia’s home-grown version for a more reasonable $500.
