In this week's Fallen Earth adventure, The Rolling Clones rolled their way into Pass Chris and Watchtower, pretty much devastating every quest they encountered. This was certainly a welcome change from last week's PvP shenanigans. We rebuilt our egos this time by killing non-intelligent NPCs and monsters. Go us! This week we're actually beginning to see Sector 2 on the horizon, but it's all up to you! Keep reading after the jump for this week's poll, Gator's in-character journal and my thoughts on our progress so far.

Oh you evil, evil readers. Voting for us to PvP like that. You should be ashamed. Although I have to admit, it was really quite fun. That's right, this week the Choose my Adventure clan in Fallen Earth tried their hands at PvP and I'm very excited to bring back news from the front lines. In addition to the regular in-character journal format this week, I'm also going to explain a good bit about the clan's impressions of this first jump into PvP, how Fallen Earth handles it and how you can make that first leap yourself. Follow along, won't you?

Things are moving along quite smoothly in our Fallen Earth Choose my Adventure group lately, and this week we conquered one of the greatest facilities in Sector 1: Kingman Prison. As voted upon last week, you sent us in there and we didn't disappoint. Follow along after the jump for more info on the prison, this week's polls to vote where we will go next, and the continuing in-character saga of Mr. Gator Boudreaux.

Another week, another adventure chosen. This week's Choose my Adventure group in Fallen Earth turned out to be a blast as more of you showed up to help crush the Junk Fortress just outside of Embry Crossroads. As we begin to level our characters into the double digits, we start setting out sights on the middle of Sector 1 in cities like Kingman, Oilville and Linewood Facility. But how did we do in Embry Crossroads this week? Keep reading below for the complete story.

Join me as I brave my way through lands unknown in an adventure dictated entirely by you, the Massively readers! Vote for everything from game played to character creation to ultimate goal and watch it unfold in a series of journals and galleries here on the site. Then, as our two months is up, we'll do it all over again in a new game! Our first real week getting our hands dirty in Fallen Earth turned out to be a lot of fun. Despite the fact that I play this game quite often anyway, I'm always learning new things in it, especially considering the fact that there are so many different starting cities, depending on your playstyle preference. My first time in Terance was almost like playing a new game, which certainly makes my addiction to "alting" more fun. Follow along after the jump for my new Fallen Earth character's in-character journal and more of my thoughts on the game.

The votes are in and we're very excited to begin our latest version of Choose my Adventure by introducing you to our shiny new character: Gator Boudreaux. He's a rifle-wielding (eventually) assassin traveling the Grand Canyon wasteland in search of his next meal, a few extra chips and the perfect headshot. We start our Fallen Earth story this week with a bit of an in-character journal. Then, of course, we get right into the poll for next week and an explanation of those polls. Finally, we'll list the play session times so you can come in game and play along with me for the next six weeks. Follow along after the jump to learn more.

Then, as our two months is up, we'll do it all over again in a new game! The winter holidays are wrapping up and it's time to get into yet another game for this edition of Choose my Adventure. Despite what was a close race for most of the last few weeks of votes, Fallen Earth pulled ahead to win the polls this time around. This post-apocalyptic MMO released in September of this year, and has enjoyed some positive reviews from most of the blog-o-sphere (including yours truly). So follow along after the jump to make your votes count towards the character creation process and how I will begin my journey through Fallen Earth.

Vote for everything from game played to character creation to ultimate goal and watch it unfold in a series of journals and galleries here on the site. Then, as our two months is up, we'll do it all over again in a new game! As our final week in Dungeons and Dragons Online for the Choose my Adventure series, I decided to do something special by creating a video of the last day. The previous week's vote decided to make one large video -- showing one long quest as a walkthrough of sorts -- but I cheated a bit there. Since we ended up playing over four hours that night, in multiple dungeons, I went ahead and compiled two long quests in a 16-minute video I hope all DDO (and Choose my Adventure) fans will enjoy. So follow along after the jump for my final thoughts on DDO from levels 1-7, the finale video and the poll to vote for our next game!

Then, as our two months is up, we'll do it all over again in a new game! This week's Choose my Adventure: DDO takes us into Stormcleave Outpost, a long group instance found within the House of Deneith. Once that was finished, we took on the second-choice vote, the Church and the Cult quest, which didn't go quite as smoothly towards the end. Still, we conquered them both and lived to tell our story here! Next week will be the last time we'll be in DDO with this series, but don't fret! This also means that next week you'll be able to vote on a new game in which my next adventure will begin. Follow along after the jump for our hero's in-character journal, my thoughts on Stormcleave and the poll for next week.

  • Choose my Adventure: Doing you a Favor

In this week's Dungeons and Dragons Online adventures, the Critical Mass guild came across a bit of a challenge, and not in the game. With last week's vote guiding our hero to spend his hard-earned Turbine Points on an adventure pack, not everyone in the group had those same points to spend. So we spent our playing time gaining favor, which can be turned into Turbine Points. In lieu of an in-character story this week, I'm going to spend some time explaining Favor and the DDO store for anyone who is curious about how this all works. I'll also explain our next poll, as I'd like you to vote on the specific Adventure Pack in which our hard-earned points will be spent. Follow along after the jump for more!

Vote for everything from game played to character creation to ultimate goal and watch it unfold in a series of journals and galleries here on the site. Then, as the ultimate goal is reached, we'll do it all over again in a new game! Last week, you voted for two things: the Critical Mass guild to hit House of Deneith first, and for me to start using my accrued Turbine Points in the DDO store. We annihilated House of Deneith, but I still haven't found something good to spend my points on. So this week, as we continue our journey through level 5 and beyond, the poll will seek answers to that pressing concern: How should I spend my money?! Keep reading below for the in-character journal of the adventures, my continued impressions of the game so far, and the polls for this week.

We've finally brought back the polls for this week, as you'll have a chance to not only vote on where we go from here, but also enjoy a revisit to the use of Turbine Points earned so far. Vote for everything from game played to character creation to ultimate goal and watch it unfold in a series of journals and galleries here on the site. Then, as the ultimate goal is reached, we'll do it all over again in a new game! Being the first week with Massively readers in Dungeons and Dragons Online, I'd say we were fairly productive. In the first 15 minutes, we formed the guild -- aptly named "Critical Mass" -- and began the butt-kicking. With last week's comments focusing on our completion of Korthos Island, we made quick work of that, finishing the main quests and arriving in Stormreach on our third night together. Now we patiently wait for our next adventure as you read through my impressions of the game so far, just after the jump!

It's always so exciting to get started in a new game with this series, and this week we officially kick off our time with Dungeons and Dragons Online. You voted earlier this week for the elements of my character creation, and I am happy to say that my new character is alive and well, and eager to begin his journey.I've already discovered that this Choose my Adventure will need to be done a bit differently than the previous two, as I am almost completely unfamiliar with this game. What I have played was back during Module 7, and much of the game has changed since then. The voting will be less reliant on polls, and more on comment discussion. So follow along after the jump for a brief introduction to our newest adventurer, and where he will go from here.

This week, the votes have been counted and it appears that Dungeons and Dragons Online will be the next game in which I'll spend the next two months. I'm excited to make my way through DDO, especially since it's the first game in this series that I haven't played beyond level 10, and it will also be fun to try it out since it has re-released as a free-to-play. Then, as the ultimate goal is reached, we'll do it all over again in a new game!At this end of our second trip through the Choose my Adventure series, it's time to say goodbye to Lord of the Rings Online, reflect on what we've accomplished and of course, vote for the next game. With last week's vote, I had you comment on what my final step should be, instead of leaving it up to a poll of choices by me. After reading a comment by Gamer52, I decided that was a wonderfully fitting end, and proceeded to plan Gibbi's retirement. On our last day together, the Massive Hobbits did plow through Dol Dinen (mostly), but for consistency's sake, I decided that going back to Dol Dinen from Rivendell wouldn't make much sense.
