Hulu's live TV service is finally available on the PS4
Starting today, you can watch Hulu + Live TV on your PlayStation 4 console. Live TV's PS4 debut comes nearly three years after Hulu first launched the service, and more than a month after Sony shut down its competing PlayStation Vue service. The company didn't say why it took it so long for it to bring Hulu + Live TV to Sony's console, but here we are and better late than never.
Hulu increases the price of its live TV service, again
Hulu's live TV streaming is about to get more expensive. The company announced today that its Hulu + Live TV option would increase to $54.99 a month starting December 18th. This is the second time this year the company has raised its rate on live television streaming. In February, there was a $5/month hike to $45.99 -- up from the $39.99 price when the service debuted in 2017.
Hulu’s refreshed Live Guide arrives on Roku and Apple TV
Hulu today launched a much-requested redesign of its interface for live TV programs on a few select platforms. The updated interface is now available on on the web, Roku devices and Apple TV. Earlier this summer, the company unveiled a revamped Live Guide strictly for desktop. The streaming service is working on bringing the new Live Guide to other devices that support Hulu Live TV in the near future.
Hulu's live TV service is coming to Android TV
You don't have to make do with on-demand video if you watch Hulu on an Android TV device. Hulu is rolling out support for its Live TV service to Google-powered devices in early August, including TV sets from Sony and Hisense as well as set-tops like NVIDIA's Shield and Xiaomi's Mi Box. You'll also get Hulu's latest interface as part of the launch.
