What we're watching: The Western Conference finals continue as the Dallas Mavericks look to even up things against the Suns at 8:30 p.m. on TNT-HD. Otherwise, it's slim pickings tonight with a jumble of reruns and movies. You can check out Freaky Friday on ABC or Mona Lisa Smile on Fox, but we'll keep the clicker stuck between NBA and NHL playoff action tonight, no matter how sweaty it gets. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Your mother is very upset that you never call or write, so stop by and catch a new episode of Desperate Housewives with her. Further confirming that there is an episode of Law & Order on somewhere in the world at all times, we get back to back new episodes of Criminal Intent starting at 9 p.m.Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Just making sure everyone is aware, two of our high definition mainstays, My Name is Earl and The Office are doing things a bit differently tonight for their season finales. Instead of slotting a rerun in the place of the now-departed Four Kings, Will & Grace, Earl and Office will all be 40 minutes long, shifting the start time earlier by ten minutes for the latter two. Please adjust your DVRs -- and your lives -- accordingly. Also ending their season tonight are Smallville, Everybody Hates Chris, Love Inc., Eve and Cuts. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: More new Alias / Lost / Invasion, although the biggest mystery may be how Miami got blown out by the Nets the other night. We'll see if they can repeat tonight at 8 p.m. on TNT. Fans of The Bedford Diaries can look forward to a two-hour season finale tonight while on Discovery they have Ice Cube's (wrong O'Shea) Big Adventure. Also could someone do me a favor, Starz schedule indicates their only high definition programming will be Hidalgo, and that they will be airing The Bourne Supremacy in prime time in standard definition. I honestly can't believe thats true, but it's what the schedule says. Since I won't be home to watch it myself, can someone flip over and tell us what sort of 480i miscegenation is going on here? Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Prison Break and 24 are on and in action tonight, notable because they might finally break out of prison (how can  a show called Prison Break not actually have a break out yet? That would be as though they called Lost "Found") and on 24 the President may shoot down a jet just to kill Jack Bauer (impossible). On TNT we have second round action kicking off between the Clippers/Suns and Nets/Heat so you know what you're getting there. The X-factor tonight is street magician/stuntman/demonically possessed David Blaine's attempt to break the world record for holding his breath underwater on ABC. We'll go out on a limb and say there's some sort of trick to it. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: The NBC Thursday night tour continues with new episodes, you know the drill. In NBA Playoffs action the Bulls, Suns and Pacers all want to keep playing, while the Heat, Lakers and Nets don't, we'll see who comes out on top there (BTW, if you missed LeBron's tightrope walk down the baseline -- not a travel -- for the win last night, you have no one to blame but yourself). We'll be checking out boxing on ESPN-HD tonight, as Sergio Mora takes on some guy whose name we won't even try to pronounce, hope he can fight. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Lost is back, although good luck at remembering what has been going on after all these repeats, check TV Squad if you need help like I do.While the first round may be over for some (thanks for coming Denver & Memphis, don't let the door hit you on the way out), the NBA Playoffs trudge march on with two Eastern Conference Game 5's tonight. LeBron and Gilbert Arenas continue their epic battle of mediocre teams while the Pistons attempt to put the Bucks behind them once and for all. Also showing tonight is the season finale of One Tree Hill and new episodes of all network TV shows except Everyone Hates Chris. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: The playoffs are heating up, as the Heat start from scratch against the suddenly-competitive Chicago Bulls and Phoenix tries to avoid an early exit against the seventh-seeded LA Lakers. Also not to be forgotten are new episodes of Veronica Mars, Law & Order SVU and The Unit, among others.Definitely looks like an NBA night, we have to see if the MVP will step up under adversity or fade away. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Primetime tonight brings us NBA Playoffs, MLB action, 24, Prison Break & more, but those are all also-rans in my opinion. For true high definition greatness one must decide between Days of Thunder at 6 p.m. on HBO with the Cruise-y one himself, or the highly stylized Sin City at 6:45 on Starz (much like Sky Captain it is entirely green screened and looks great in HD). What we're watching: Most programming tonight is on hold for the ongoing and unfortunately-SD NFL Draft (the Lions didn't take a wide receiver!?!?!?!?) but later on the NBA Playoffs continue with Denver looking to even up their series at two games apiece with the Clippers. Also tonight on Cinemax is the always-excellent in HD Ocean's Twelve, or you can go with the special effects-laden Pearl Harbor. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: NBA Playoffs action does not get better than this. LeBron & Kobe in back to back games, both trying to lead their teams to a 2-1 advantage in their series. The networks are keeping the party going, as NBC and CBS both have all new episodes lined up for tonight, and Fox throws in a high definition Austin Powers.Unfortunately, Oprah isn't high definition yet and neither are the Daytime Emmys so ABC is out for the evening. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Will & Grace, My Name is Earl, The Office and E.R. are all back with new episodes tonight, we're getting the gang back together. Elsewhere, the NBA Playoffs continue, with The Flash & Shaq taking on the Bulls, while the Clippers try to make it three straight against the Nuggets. Denver will need a monster game from Carmelo Anthony with Kenyon Martin suspended indefinitely; we'll see if they can pull it off. Also, Starz-HD has been added to the schedule. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: As your high definition counsel, when LeBron James is on we cannot in good faith recommend you watch anything else. Cavaliers vs. Wizards, Game 2 tips off at 7 p.m. No really, that's pretty much it, put Veronica Mars, American Idol & everything else on the DVR queue because the King is here. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: Sydney Bristow is back. No Lost, but two hours of Alias should hopefully make up for that. Tonight's Monster Garage is also a good pick, as Jesse & crew add wings to a Panoz sports car. The LA Clippers get some much-deserved national spotlight tonight against the Mavericks, although both teams will likely be just trying to stay healthy for the playoffs. Check out the game though, hopefully Shaun Livingston will play and you'll see why I think he is the player with the most potential in the NBA right now. Crazy handles & court vision are just part of the package. Our traditional high-def listings continue below.

What we're watching: It's a slooow Saturday for HD, but at least the real The Ten Commandments is back in action tonight at 7 on ABC. Of course this sets up a Jim Caviezel as Jesus/Charlton Heston as Moses showdown at 9 p.m. as The Passion of the Christ spreads 1080i blessings, we're sure you'll make the right choice. We've had a few requests to add channels to our daily listings, it looks like Starz, Cinemax and HDNet are favorites, any other requests?Update: It looks like one of the 10 commandments wasn't to accurately label your Saturday night movies, because at least on my local station it is 4x3 and very much not HD. Doesn't this fall under coveting your neighbors Xbox 360 or something? Our traditional high-def listings continue below
