European PSN users who are looking to shoot every single one of their friends and relations, and then have documented evidence of the affair: You are the worst murderers ever. However, you're the ideal audience for Call of Duty Elite, which launched today on the Euro PlayStation Store. You can grab the app and sign up for a premium membership through the Store, then fly your K/D spread like a proud, proud flag. Also on the European Store is the managerial football sim Premier Manager 2012, and the revamped, Move-enabled Hydrophobia Prophecy. Check out PlayStation Blog for the full list of releases!

What level of adorability are you looking for in your European PSN purchase this week? A significant amount? We suggest Okabu -- it stars things called "cloud whales," which possess a cuteness unrivaled by just about everything else on the planet. Average cuteness? How about Rocketbirds? Sure, the fowl therein are all about soaring through the air and murdering each other, but ... c'mon, birds are cute, right? Want something decidedly un-adorable? You should go with the demo for Need for Speed: The Run. There's nothing cute about car-crimes, you guys. Check out PlayStation Blog for the rest of the line-up.

Pick up your longswords, daggers and staves -- not all at the same time, of course, as that would be far too cumbersome. Dragon Age 2 players have a reason to return to the Kirkwallian epic today as the Mark of the Assassin DLC arrives on the European PSN. Other notable entries include Real Steel and Sideway, neither of which require arm-bundles of medieval weaponry. If there are two games more diametrically opposed than this week's European PSN update headliners, we can't think of them. What do you feel like: A quiet, reflective real-time strategy game about growing flowers on alien planets? Or a non-stop, slamma-jamma multiplayer dunkfest? You absolutely, totally cannot have both. You should consider stapling your pants to your legs before diving into this week's European PSN update, lest they be scared off all the new, horrifying content. Resident Evil 4 HD? Aah! Altered Beast? Whoooa! Driver: San Francisco? Eeek! Wait, that's scary, right? Isn't he, like, a coma-ghost? Whether your interests lie in carving up ancient Greece's cryptozoological creatures, or creeping your way through government installations, this week's PSN update aims to please. There's the God of War HD Collection: Volume II (the two titles from which can also be bought piecemeal), the Splinter Cell Trilogy HD and, for good measure, Fast Draw Showdown, because, hey, why not? What do you guys really need today? A super stylish, animated, vampire action sidescroller? A QTE-infused adventure game? A game about flying planes while shooting other planes? We have all of those things in this week's European PSN update, in the forms of BloodRayne Betrayal, Red Johnson's Chronicles and SkyDrift, respectively. Want even more, you greedy so-and-so? There's a number of high-profile releases in today's PS3 European content update, including Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online and a demo for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. Sadly, the PSP has almost nothing new this week -- an issue Sony hopes to correct by drowning us all in dozens of discounts on PSP downloadables. The first game in the PlayStation Network PLAY promotion, Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition is available now on PSN. As we said in our review, the fighter retains its core gameplay mechanics, but still manages to be the best version of the Third Strike. Don't believe us? Check out the demo, also available now. Another demo worth shooting, er, booting up is Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine. If not for yourself, do it for the Emperor. The latest PSN update is a few hours tardy, but it's not completely without its charms. Fans of old, old games can grab Medal of Honor Frontline for $15, and Breath of Fire IV from the PSOne Classics storefront for $6. If you prefer something a tad less ancient, there's also a multiplayer demo for Driver: San Francisco in the mix. PSN delivers a fistful of discounts this week on Red Dead Redemption DLC, with Undead Nightmare a reanimated steal at $5. If you're looking for more modern sandbox experiences, GTA IV's The Ballad Of Gay Tony and The Lost And Damned are $10 and $5, respectively. In the demo department, don't miss out on passing the ball around with Madden NFL 12 and trying out Driver: San Francisco's single-player demo. Today's update to the European PlayStation Store seems to be stuck in the past. There's a Fat Princess DLC bundle, the digital releases of Modnation Racers and Dragon Age: Origins, and the fifth installment of the Back to the Future adventure game series. We haven't played it yet, but based on the history of the franchise, there's probably a pretty good chance of getting literally stuck in the past. PSN brings the "dakka" this week with Warhammer 40K: Kill Team, a competent attempt at THQ taking the license into the twin-stick shooter genre. For something less bullet-based, check out ... wait, Galaga Legions DX is just as full of pew-pew action, if not more. Resident Evil 5 DLC is deeply discounted this week; you can grab it for about $15. Never before has a European PSN update been so violent. Section 8: Prejudice tasks you with killing heavily armored skydivers. Dead Block is all about re-killing the walking dead with a series of homebrewed traps. Finally, 3D Ultra Mini Golf Adventures just wants you to kill pars with really, really good putts. Kind of. That's kind of what it wants you to do. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

Playdead's quiet, beautiful downloadable title Limbo has finally made the voyage to PlayStation Network, heading up an odd grab-bag of a week's worth of releases. For instance, the decidedly un-quiet Burnout Paradise has had its DLC offerings marked down for the summer, while the Fallout: New Vegas expansion Old World Blues has reared its ugly, roboscorpion-covered head. Give in to Limbo with this week's PSN update. One of the best games of 2010, Limbo is finally available on PSN for $15. PS Plus members can pick it up for $12. Another sweet deal is all of Borderlands (including DLC) for $20, $15 for PS Plus members. One of the best games of 2009, Borderlands melded an open-world FPS with Diablo-style loot drops for an addictive combination. Explore past the break for all the details on this week's update. We're going to be straight with you guys: It's not the best week for European PSN releases. There's a trial version of Dead Nation and a demo for PixelJunk Shooter 2, while the poor PSP only gets a handful of Minis. The real highlight of the week is the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII costumes for LittleBigPlanet 2, which should provide you with adequate hours of enjoyment to last you until next week. The PSN update is mostly about fast cars and deep discounts this week. Burnout Paradise is a mere $8 now, with many of its DLC packs slashed to $2. Not to be outdone, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit packs have also been reduced by almost half. Meanwhile, some Capcom PSP games, including Power Stone Collection and Ultimate Ghosts N' Goblins, are a scant $5. Race on past the break for this week's update details.
