Bionic Commando Rearmed Trophies are almost here
Hey, remember Bionic Commando Rearmed? Probably not, seeing as it came out almost a year ago. It was a pretty decent remake of the NES classic. Only one problem -- it didn't have Trophies. Still, Capcom promised they'd patch them in. Then they canceled that promise. Then they promised again. Now, finally, we've been told via the company's official Twitter account that the Trophy patch has been approved for the US, with Europe scheduled to be approved in the next few days. The upshot of which is that you "may" be getting your long-awaited Trophies within the next "7 to 10 days." We're pretty sure most of you will have moved on by now, but it's the thought that counts.
Katamari Forever to feature Home rewards, minigames over credits
If there's one complaint we'd lobby at PlayStation Home, it's that (aside from the woefully low amount of users) there's no miniaturized version of Katamari Forever's Prince (nor his cousins) to adorn our avatar's shoulder! Well, that changes now, as Namco Bandai has revealed (via Siliconera) that not only will the upcoming title support Trophies, but also Home rewards.There's no talk of anything outside of the parrot-like companion, though Siliconera also reveals Katamari Forever will return with minigames over the credits. Fans of We Love Katamari will also be happy to know that its minigame, featuring the King of All Cosmos, will make a return. As cool a Home reward as this is, we must say that we'd much prefer a real shirt with a Prince sewn onto it. Pre-order bonus, Namco Bandai? Please?
You can name the Trophies for the PSN version of Battle Fantasia
Are you a Trophy hunter? If so, then this is a terrific opportunity for you. Aksys is allowing its fans to partake in a Trophy-naming challenge for the upcoming PSN version of Battle Fantasia. Five new achievements, not found in the original Xbox 360 version of the game, are currently nameless: Outside of training mode, dish out a total of over 1,000,000 damage. In single-player arcade mode, seduce every character with Ashley's taunt. In single-player arcade mode, get 25+ hits with Coyori's Cat Storm. Outside of training mode, as Death Bringer, defeat an opponent with a single move. Outside of training mode, win a match with only 1 HP left. To participate in the contest, click this link.

Disgaea 3 trophy patch hitting on July 16
Trophy patches are continuing to trickle out (except, no, not for that game, sorry) and the latest title to receive an update is NIS' Disgaea 3. You should be seeing this patch hit in the US on July 16 at 1AM PST. The patch will add over fifty trophies to the game, but there's a downside. Installing this patch will render your previous game saves unusable. You'll have to start from scratch. Considering the game came out last August, chances are you've probably put a few hours in. If you don't want that time wasted, don't install the patch. There's no word on a European release for the patch, but we're looking into it. [Thanks, nikku]
Trophy leaderboards coming to European PlayStation site
The PSN's Trophy system continues to get updated. Most recently, PlayStation.com users (in Europe and America) have been able to track their Trophy progress online. The next update to the European site (and presumably, the American site as well) will allow users to compare Trophies with friends and even see leaderboards for specific titles. This example image shows friends going up and down in rank with their completion of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.Certainly, this isn't a revolutionary feature, but it's certainly a welcome one. Update: The European site already features portable PSN cards -- will America ever join in? What other Trophy-related features do you want on the PlayStation site?

Ham blasting gives 'Kosher' Ghostbusters Achievement
Following the tenets of a religion is supposed to net you blessings and well-being, but that's just not tangible enough for us. Judaism has wised up, though. Those who follow its teachings in regards to keeping kosher – specifically by blasting a ham at a bar mitzvah in Ghostbusters – will be rewarded with an Achievement (and a Trophy, we presume) called "Kosher."
