Feedback submitted!Unable to submit feedback! This is the mobile to beat in 2015. Splash resistant, 1x free screen replacement, huge battery without the heft, Turbo Charger, wireless charging, 64Gb option, 3Gb RAM, Snapdragon 805, quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450, Adreno 420 GPU all lead the mobile hardware industry right now, and the new Droid has them all. The camera looks so much better than on my Galaxy S5 as well, and the specs back it up. The Ballistic Nylon is a party trick and it works, people love it when they see and feel it and always ask me questions about it. This is the first device I have ever owned where I truly felt no case required, and love carrying without one. It ships with roughly a dozen items of bloatware, and thus far has not been rooted. These apps can easily be disabled and thus hidden in the app drawer. You can uninstall Hangouts if you want to opt for Google Messenger, and the native email and gmail apps for Inbox. The only bloat I have not been able to remove is the default Android messenger, so it does have a presence in my app drawer, but since it is not default and notifications from it are disabled, I'm never reminded of it's existence. Other than that, my app drawer and homescreems only contain the apps I want, with no redundant entries laying around. I do wish however I could hide apps that I do no want to disable in the app drawer. For example, the phone app. It lives on my homesccreen, why also have it take up a spot in the app drawer? This is an Android limitation and has nothing to do with the phone itself, but since the Galaxy S5 uses Touch Wiz and Touch Wiz has this hiding feature, I did notice that when using the more stripped down Droid Turbo. There is no SD slot, so I opted for the 64Gb version and bought an OTG cable which I keep a flash drive connected and that dongle I've never needed, but stays in my backpack just in case. The audio is awesome, and volume gets louder than any mobile I've listened to, including the M8. Also having a front facing speaker is nice when the phone is laying on a table the sound doesn't become muffled. When on my car's dash mount, the well crafted style of the speaker and relative tiny bezel make this device a beautiful cinematic experience. Being a Verizon customer I have never experienced a 100% true Android device and OS. This is 95%, and I'm loving it. Even with custom launchers and building my Pure Android experience on other devices, there are things that are lacking, whether it be a setting or an app icon, or whatever. This uses all the same icons as the Nexus, with little bloat that is removable as I said before. It is nice to finally be able to interact with more true Google software, the way it was intended, because my UE with the device far exceeds that of any other mobile device I've usedused to date. Keep it up Moto!
