Nothing to see here, folks. Vampire Rain makes its Japanese debut on the PS3 this week, but all other territories are gameless. Not a single one. Is the Summer game drought finally arriving? The next few weeks don't look too stellar, but at least we're only a couple of months away from some amazing titles like LittleBigPlanet. About time. Okay, color us confused, but kind of impressed. We were just tipped off that Bionic Commando Rearmed, that awesome current-gen re-imagining of the old Capcom classic, is now available on the European PlayStation Store. "Surely not," we thought. We wrote the European store update up yesterday and BCR was nowhere to be seen.Nevertheless, the tip was correct. Bionic Commando Rearmed is now available, in both full-game and demo form, on the European PlayStation Store. For UK patrons, you can hookshot the game for £6.99, while those of you who deal in Euros (Brodie-san, we're looking at you) will need to part with €9.99. Nice work SCEE. So, have you bought it yet? Why not? Go get![Thanks Wilester]

You like PS1 games, right? We hope so, because you've got two to choose between in today's PC Store update. Apart from that there's not a lot else, so if you're not a retro nut, be sure to look away now. Classic old school driving mayhem, or classic old school ... sheep mayhem? Take your pick. Have you heard about Secret Agent Clank? You probably have. The Ratchet & Clank spin off came out about a month ago in Europe, but if you haven't picked it up yet now's a perfect time to try it for free. A demo has been made available for you fence-sitters on the PC Store today, along with a trailer for the game and part 2 of episode 3 of Movement. That's all there is to today's update; short and sweet. Boooooring! Oh well, you can't win them all. This week's Euro PSN update isn't particularly exciting. It's been a wee while since we've had as few as five items on the release list, but at least we're still kepy busy with PixelJunk Eden and all the other trophy-enabled games. Having said that, we'll definitely take the time to download the new Dead Space trailer. That game looks awesome. Slim pickings all around this week. The PS3 version of Monster Madness releases in America and the developers are keen to suggest that it's far better than the mediocre offering that was made to 360 players. 1Up had a look at it earlier this year and saw improvements, but there's still no telling whether it's actually good or not. Be sure to check out the demo on the PSN store before spending any money. Here's the full release list:US Games Monster Madness: Grave Danger EU GamesNo new releasesAsian Games NBA 2K8 Keep in mind that release dates are constantly subject to change. Also, your PS3 will play any game from any region, so if you're a European or Japanese gamer who really needs to get your hands on Monster Madness right now, you can feel free to go right ahead. You weirdo.

Short and sweet update today. Haven't taken the plunge and purchased Echochrome Micro yet? Give the newly released demo a go. You never know, you might love it. If you really, honestly, have no interest in the game, however, there's always the latest episode of Movement to keep you entertained. Episode 3 starts this week with the boys taking a trip to Milan. SCEE has come through for us this week. PixelJunk Eden is here, in the form of both a demo and the full game. There's also a demo of Echochrome Micro for PSP owners, a smattering of game videos and the next episode of Movement. But really, that's all secondary to Eden and the glittering trophies contained within. At £4.99 (an almost direct translation from the US price of $9.99) it's a bargain. Soulcalibur IV gets its worldwide release this week. If you're not into weapon based fighting games with a Star Wars twist, there's very little else that might interest you. By "very little" we do, of course, mean "nothing." If you live in Europe, however, you might be interested in knowing that a bunch of Platinum titles are being released this week. All of these five games are well worth their new £20 price, despite the yucky yellow packaging. Here's the full release list:US Games Soulcalibur IV EU Games Soulcalibur IV Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (Platinum) Heavenly Sword (Platinum) MotorStorm (Platinum) Resistance: Fall of Man (Platinum) Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction (Platinum) Asian Games Soulcalibur IV Beijing Olympics 2008 Protip: Play.com have cut £2 off their Platinum price for the full range. £18 for Uncharted or Ratchet & Clank? You'd be mad not to. Release dates are constantly subject to change, so check with your local retailer if you're concerned.

Nothing too special this week. Another platinum title hits the store in the form of Gangs Of London, but other than that there's nothing new that's playable. Another Echochrome trailer might push you over the edge, if you've still not grabbed it yet and the PSN exclusive music show Movement continues plodding through Europe. Siren Blood Curse makes its worldwide debut this week, with a Blu-ray release in Japan and PSN releases in both the US and Europe. We maintain that it's incredibly silly to release "episodic" content all at once like this, but at least they've fixed the weird pricing. Taking the plunge on the full game will actually save you £5 or €10. Here's the full release list: Playable Content Siren Blood Curse full game (£19.99/€29.99) Gangs of London full PSP game (£14.99/€19.99) Echochrome demo (free) Siren Blood Curse Chapters 1-4 (£6.99/€9.99 each) Add-on Content Guitar Hero III "Guitar Virtuoso" track pack (£3.99/€5.99) Videos E3 PlayStation Family Compilation trailer E3 Compilation trailer E3 PSN Compilation trailer PixelJunk Eden trailer Linger In Shadows trailer Movement Episode 2 "Munich" part 2 (8 videos) Siren Blood Curse "characters" trailer Siren Blood Curse "Hanuda" trailer Wallpapers and Themes PixelJunk Eden "red" wallpaper PixelJunk Eden "black" wallpaper Don't forget to keep your eyes out for the American PSN update later today, where a PixelJunk Eden demo will be made available. In the meantime, give Echochrome a go or watch a few trailers. There's plenty of stuff to sink your teeth into, this week.

Yeah, it's July 16th in Europe right now, but we've been too busy to post the update until now. The fact we even know what's up on the store is a near miracle (thanks, Tom!), seeing as we're actually nowhere near a PS3 right now. With our excuses out of the way, we present to you today's update which, apart from a whole bunch of awesome E3 trailers, includes the SSHD Team Pack. Best thing about the Team Pack? Another week of lackluster releases today. Only Japan has anything to write home about, with a standalone Metal Gear Online pack and Tears To Tiara, a Strategy RPG that was originally released on the PC. No actual software for Europeans, unfortunately, just wireless buzzers for Buzz! which ... is kind of pointless, if you've already grabbed Buzz! Quiz TV. At leas you can also use them with the PS2 versions of the games. Here's the full release list: US Games NCAA Football 2009 European Games Wireless buzzers for Buzz! Not a bad wee update today. Those of you who love mind-bending puzzles will no doubt enjoy Echochrome now that it's finally available for Europeans to purchase. Fairly small list of content today, but at least there's something worth purchasing. Both the PS3 and PSP versions (don't forget that each include different levels) of Echochrome are now available to grab at fairly decent prices. If you're not interested in that, however, there's not a lot else to see here. Movement continues this week with the second part of episode 1, which includes more French tomfoolery and another couple of bands from the country.
