It's another catch-up week this week, as the US finally gets its hands on Civilization Revolution and Asia is given Dark Sector and Kane & Lynch (though probably wishes it wasn't.) Europe is barren this week and the only new release of the bunch probably won't appeal to many people, unless you really love your Olympics. Here's the full release list:US Games Civilization Revolution Beijing Olympics 2008 EU GamesNo new releasesAsian Games Dark Sector Kane & Lynch Release dates are constantly subject to change, so be sure to check with your local store for the official dates.

This week's PSN Store update is truly Euro-centric. Not only do we have the first episode of the Europe-exclusive "PSN TV Show" Movement, but there's also four packs of Buzz! Quiz TV content available to purchase. Movement's first episode is split into eight videos, including four live performances from the two featured Parisian bands. If you actually want to play something today, however, there's always Wolf of the Battlefield Commando 3. Here's the full release list:Playable content Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 Full Game (£6.99/€9.99) Space Invaders Extreme demo for PSP (free) Add-on content Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 "Gift Pack" map pack (free) Buzz! Quiz TV "UK Culture" quiz pack (£3.49/€4.99) Buzz! Quiz TV "Australian Culture" quiz pack (£3.49/€4.99) Buzz! Quiz TV "Sci Fi" quiz pack (£3.49/€4.99) Buzz! Quiz TV "Rock Legends" quiz pack (£3.49/€4.99) Guitar Hero III "July 4th Holiday single" (free) Videos 8 Movement "Paris" videos Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway Ubidays trailer Haze launch trailer Themes and wallpapers Metal Gear Solid 4 theme Elefunk theme Echochrome theme Top Spin 3 wallpaper Elefunk "Forest" wallpaper Elefunk "Circus" wallpaper On closer inspection, there appear to be more Buzz! Quiz TV quiz packs than we thought. Each country should have a "Culture" pack corresponding to their particular region.

Music and 'extreme' nostalgia hit the European PC Store today. Space Invaders Extreme has been pretty well received, from what we've heard, and now you can try it out for yourselves. We'll have a review of the full game up at some point in the near future. The first episode of Sony Europe's made-for-PSN TV Show Movement is also available to download for free. This is made up of 8 episodes, including four live performances from two Parisian bands. Here's the full release list: Space Invaders Extreme demo Space Invaders Extreme theme Movement episode 1 (8 videos)

We hope you're happy with this week's releases, because they're all you're going to get until the end of July. The summer drought starts here and it starts not with a bang, but with a whimper. The biggest release this week? Buzz! Quiz TV. We were aiming to get a review out for you before the game's launch, but Sony has yet to provide us with any buzzers. So don't hold your breath. Here's the full release list:US Games Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Hail to the Chimp EU Games Buzz! Quiz TV (also available with buzzers) Ferrari Challenge Wall-E Asian Games Initial D Extreme Stage Feel free to import any of the above titles (Initial D Extreme Stage even has an English-language manual version available), though we're not too sure what the situation is with Buzz! Quiz TV's DLC. You should be fine for free stuff (and there appears to be lots of it), but paid-for content will be a little trickier. Release dates are constantly subject to change, so make sure you check with your local retailer if you're worried.

Want content? You got content. Europe gets their hands on the MGS Database today, which is probably the most exciting piece of content here, we reckon. If you're wondering where Novastrike is, you won't be seeing that hit the store in this region until August. Worth waiting for an improved version that includes trophies, right? Here's the full release list:Playable content Metal Gear Solid Database (free) Pursuit Force full PSP game (£14.99/€19.99) Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 demo (free) Add-on content PAIN Nigel add-on pack (£0.69/€0.99) Guitar Hero III "World of Warcraft song" add-on pack (free) Videos Call of Duty: World at War Reveal Trailer Prince of Persia Debut trailer PAIN Characters trailer Prince Caspian trailer

Good grief, where did all these games come from? There's a lot to choose from, especially if you're in the US or Europe. Despite the quantity, there's not a huge amount of overall quality. The only games in the list worth looking at are Overlord, Bourne and Battlefield. Don't be downhearted, Asians. You've finally got your hands on The Darkness. Only a year late, then. Here's the full release list:US Games Battlefield: Bad Company [Get a $10 gift card at Circuit City] Top Spin 3 Wall-E Hellboy: Science of Evil Overlord: Raising Hell Hail to the Chimp EU Games Battlefield: Bad Company Beijing 2008: The Official Olympics Game The Bourne Conspiracy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Kung Fu Panda NASCAR 09 Asian Games Enemy Territory: Quake Wars The Darkness Go ahead and grab any of the above games for yourself, regardless of region. Your PS3 loves it (but DLC might be an issue, so keep that in mind). Releases dates are, as The Doctor would say, in a constant flux. So don't blame us if the above list is incorrect. Check with your local retailer before getting too excited.[UPDATE] Apologies for leaving Battlefield out of the US list, but the Gamestop website didn't have it on their upcoming games list. According to them it's already out, so it passed us by.Gosh it's been a long time since we last used this image.

An eclectic assortment of goodies or the EU PSN Store this week. While nothing jumps out at us as must-grabs (and we're lamenting the lack of the Metal Gear Solid Database), this is a solid update with lots to choose from. Here's the full release list:Playable content Civilization Revolution demo (free) Dark Sector demo (free) Add-on content Warhawk "Booster Combo Pack" (contains Operation Omega Dawn and Operation Broken Mirror) (£4.99/€??) Guitar Hero III Coldplay track pack (£3.99/€5.99) Everybody's Golf: World Tour "Oceania Resort Course" add-on pack (£2.99/€??) High Stakes Poker add-on pack (free)

Metal Gear Solid 4 will continue to be the most played game outside of Europe this week, as there are no new titles to pick up in the US or Asia. Not a lot to see here today. SCEE has told us that, along with D2Comics' "interactive multimedia experience," The Cryptics, the store has also been updated with a trailer for Ape Quest as well as the game itself. To that, we ask "is it May 1st again?" We'll add it to the release list, to keep The Cryptics company. Plus, who knows -- maybe some of you forgot to pick up Ape Quest and need some gentle reminding that it exists. Here's the release list: The Cryptics (£1.49/€1.99) Hands-on Ape Quest (£6.99/€9.99) Review

We've been used to getting more from SCEE over the last few weeks, so this update may seem a bit small. Considering most people will be busy playing Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Online for the next few weeks (at least), we don't particularly mind. Despite that, there are two demos and an add-on pack for Guitar Hero III, so it's not a complete wash. Here's the full release list:Playable content Enemy Territory: Quake Wars demo (free) Monster Madness demo (free) Add-on content Guitar Hero III "Isle of Wight" track pack (£3.99/€5.99) Videos Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer Haze "Korn #1" trailer Haze "Korn #2" trailer Wallpapers and Themes PixelJunk Monsters Rainbow theme PixelJunk Monsters Bee wallpaper

Are you ready for the biggest PS3 release so far this year? There's some other stuff coming out today but, frankly, who cares? Metal Gear Solid 4 makes its long-awaited arrival this week and we'll be grabbing it the minute it's out. Another pair of games hit the EU PC Store today, with very little else accompanying them. Killzone Liberation is certainly worth picking up, though whether you grab it from the Store or get it cheaper elsewhere, that's up to you. We'd like to see a bit more filler heading to the PC Store each week. Videos and themes always make the update seem that little bit more meatier. Here's the release list: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six PS1 game (£3.49/€4.99) Killzone Liberation PSP game (£14.99/€19.99)

Another pleasing update. Demos, add on packs and PS1/PSP games are always welcome. We didn't really expect to see the God of War Guitar Hero III pack arriving in Europe before the US. As for Toy Home: Second Gear, that's a nice little surprise as well. Here's the full release list:Playable content Battlefield: Bad Company demo (free) Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit demo (free) Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six PS1 game (£3.49/€4.99) Killzone Liberation PSP game (£14.99/€19.99) Add-on content Guitar Hero III "God of War Theme" track pack (free) Guitar Hero III "Motorhead" track pack (£3.99/€5.99 Toy Home "Second Gear" add-on pack (£2.99/€3.99) Videos Resident Evil 5 "Spring Trailer" Top Spin 3 debut trailer Okay SCEE, let's call it quits. Keep this up and we'll have nothing to complain about. Regular PS1 titles and content hitting on the same day as the US Store is exactly what we've been after for the last year. The lack of NovaStrike is unsurprising, but it'll be with us next week, right SCEE?

Want more games? Sony has provided. No filler this week, just two full games up for grabs. Both are great and worth a punt, however Medievil is available at Play.com for half the price. If it's convenience you're after, however, feel free to pay extra and get it downloaded directly to your PSP. Via your PC, that is. Nom nom nom. What a lot of tasty treats we have today. It's not often we can say this, but almost everything in the following list is worth a download. Now might be the time to lower your pitchforks and torches as Europeans can finally get their hands on Super Puzzle Fighter. Here's the full release list:Playable content Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix full game (£6.99/€9.99) Rayman PS1 game (£3.49/€4.99) Medievil Resurrection PSP game (£14.99/€19.99) Add-on content Army of Two "Veteran map pack" (free) Videos Super Stardust HD "Solo & Team mode" trailer Overlord trailer Metal Gear Solid 4 E3 2006 trailer Themes and wallpapers PixelJunk Monsters wallpaper Prince of Persia "Arabesque" wallpaper Prince of Persia "New Prince" wallpaper Between Puzzle Fighter, Rayman and Medievil Resurrection, we're going to have a busy weekend. As for those Prince of Persia wallpapers from Ubidays, the art style is so gorgeous we're almost tempted to have them replace Snake as our XMB backdrop. Almost. We can't believe we're saying it, but keep up the good work, Sony!

Less than three weeks to go until Metal Gear Solid 4. In the meantime, however, there are still a number of titles trickling out and this week is no exception. We haven't heard (or reported) much on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, but it's out this week to battle against Haze for the title of Mediocre FPS of the Month. Oh no we didn't. Here's the full release list:US Games Enemy Territory: Quake Wars EU Games Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Asian Games Battle Fantasia Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Turok Feel free to indulge your PS3 in games imported from other regions. It just loves getting a new exotic taste every so often. That's what it told us anyway. Also, it said that you smell. You might want to look into that. Today's store update is a little confusing, but mostly pleasing. Despite Go!Explore having no solid release date, DLC for the service is already appearing on the store. While frutstrating, it does tell us that buying the GPS add-on for the software will be very worthwhile. Especially if you travel a lot. We're waiting anxiously for the Japan map pack. No full games today, but a plethora of demos and a long-awaited add-on pack make this a worthwhile update. If you're getting tired of games (it can happen, apparently) then make sure you grab the HD Indiana Jones 4 trailer. It's been a long time coming, but Haze finally makes it out this week. Free Radical's story driven FPS has been delayed almost countless times since its intended release last November. Now, at last, we're able to begin a Nectar bender that will, hopefully, last until June 12th. Here's the full release list: US Games SingStar Haze [Free $10 gift card at Circuit City] EU Games Call of Duty 4 (GOTY Edition) Haze Asian Games UEFA Euro 2008 Haze MotorStorm Complete Americans can also look forward to the release of SingStar, a game their cousins across the pond have been enjoying since before Christmas. We look forward to seeing videos of drunken Americans popping up on My SingStar Online over the next few weeks. We've noticed that Play.com are already stating that Haze is in stock and ready to be dispatched. No idea if that means you'll get it before Friday, but it's worth a try.Not that you need to, considering Haze has a global release, but feel free to import any of the above games. Your PS3 will run them all. Release dates are constantly subject to change, so make sure to check with your local retailer before doing anything rash.

We have to say, we expected there to be more than a week between Sony announcing full PSP games being made available on the PSN/PC Store and it actually happening. We are, however, pleasantly surprised. Not only that, but there's another PS1 game available today -- specially for all you RTS fans out there. Here's the list: WipEout Pure full PSP game (£14.99/€19.99) (Review) Command & Conquer: Red Alert PS1 game for PS3/PSP (£3.49/€4.99) The PlayStation Store certainly becomes a much more interesting place once there's stuff to buy. Don't you agree?
