Every day we get tons of great screenshots from readers both old and new. However, among those emails are names that immediately jump out, such as today's One Shots contributor, Johanis -- a man who has sent in dozens of images to share his adventures with us over the last few years. Today we have a recent screenshot from EverQuest II and a note to tell us about what he's currently up to. Johanis writes: "Here is Pollo -- my level 32 Wizard in EverQuest II. While he was busy doing quests and harvesting materials in Butcherblock Mountains, he decided to stop and enjoy the scenery -- something none of us does enough." Would you like to share some images of your recent adventures? We're always on the hunt for more screenshots of the many different MMOs out there -- but we need your help. Email your screenshots in to us at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post it out here and give you the credit for sending it in! %Gallery-112285%

One of the things we love about Runes of Magic is that the starter player house is completely free. Sure, if you spend any time in the world, you'll likely want to improve it, but you can't really argue with the price tag for the first one. Some players use it as a crafting mecca, picking up workbenches and opening the doors to friends. Others opt to use the space like today's One Shots contributor, Johanis, who likes to raise exotic flowers. He writes in to explain: "Here is Wilmay, my new scout/mage from Runes of Magic. As you can see she is very proud of her green thumb and has produced many useful herbs and ores." From old school to new school, F2P to subscription, and everything in between -- we love to see your images! If you'd like to take part, all you have to do is email your screenshot to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937%

We have to admit, we love how cute this young lady is, poised with her hand out as if to say, "Stop, evildoers! I shall protect this city!" Perhaps she's just practicing her smack-talk for today's GM PvP event going on in Aika at 1pm Pacific. Alternately, it could be something a lot more innocent, as today's note from our regular contributor, Johanis, tells us: "Here is Miss Jackson, my newly created Cleric in Aika. She's still fairly new and often finds herself lost in the bigger city." We're sure a passing guard will give her some directions soon. From enormous MMOs to indie titles and everywhere in between -- we love to see/hear about your adventures! If you'd like your screenshot to be featured on an upcoming One Shots, it's really easy to do. Just email it in to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing in the image. We'll post it out here for everyone to look at and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937%

When it comes to Aion, many players love just how highly detailed and cool-looking their armor and weapons are. However, when it comes to the recent holiday hats from the Aion Halloween event, those glowy pumpkin heads just don't really cut it in comparison. Even considering that, they're still fun to see. This recent image comes to us from our long-time One Shots contributor, Johanis, who writes in: Here is Metros...now almost level 25 Templar who just got his Halloween Hat. Lookin' good! One Shots is all about reader contributions. MMOs from big to small are welcome. Just email them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post them out here and give you the love for sending 'em in. %Gallery-9798%

According to the Xfire charts and the sales numbers, Aion is doing very well for NCsoft. With visuals like this one, sent in to us by regular contributor Johanis, we're absolutely not surprised at all. Aion players seem to really love the detail (wings) and solid writing, coupled with the familiar game-play of favorites such as World of Warcraft. Here's what Johanis had to say about this particular image he sent in. Here is Metros, my newly created Templar in Aion who is about to ascend and get his wings. His mother would be so proud. One Shots lives on your screenshots, so we'd love it if you'd take a moment this weekend to snap a screenshot from your favorite game for us. It can be of just about anything. Please try to remove as many UI elements as are possible and make sure your image is at least 1024px wide. Add your name, the name of the game, and a quick description and email it to us at oneshots AT massively DOT com. Yours could be one of the next ones featured here! %Gallery-9798%

We don't often get to look into the lands of Telon, so we're glad when one of the adventurers who spends time in Vanguard decides to drop us a line. Today's One Shots comes to us courtesy of one of our regular MMO world travelers, Johanis, who spent some time in Vanguard not too long ago and sent in this image of a strange meeting that took place. He writes in: Urlay, my low level Necromancer in Vanguard was wandering around the area near Khal when she came across a rather large friend...thankfully he was friendly and actually offered her a quest. That's good to know, because we don't happen to see a lamp handy to put that big fellow into. One Shots cannot live on a diet of our screenshots alone! We need reader submissions to keep the worlds we check out interesting and varied. So the next time you're out spending time in your favorite MMO, why not grab a screenshot and tell us a bit about your adventures there? It's easy and fun. All you have to do is email an image to us at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game it's from, and a note letting us know what's going on. (Also, please make sure your image is at least 1024px across and has as few UI elements as is possible.) We'll post it out here and let everyone share in your tale! %Gallery-9798%

Sometimes, adventure can wind up in the places you least expect it - or maybe you just find yourself in a place you don't expect to be. Take for example, this brave fighter in EverQuest II who apparently got sent down a dark corridor, only to find herself in a strange place. Where is that? Johanis, regular One Shots contributor, gives us the heads up: Took this pic of my character Sepra from EverQuest II. She was wandering around in the sewers but didn't appear to mind doing it. That's also probably some of the cleanest water we've ever seen in a sewer, to be honest. Have you found yourself in a strange place? We'd love to see the odd corners of your favorite MMO, but we need you to send in screenshots. Just email them to oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post them up and give you the credit. %Gallery-9798%

We love it when players report in as they travel around from game to game. One of our longest-standing roving One Shots contributors is Johanis, who has decided to do some exploring in Aion and send some screens back to us. Today we have a great screen of a watery ship graveyard he's sent back from his travels. He writes in: As we close out yet another Beta in Aion I wanted to send along a pic of my new Scout Assassin named HotGal. She might be small but she is one mighty mean gal. Every day One Shots brings you an image from around the MMOGosphere, but we can't do it without your help! If you've ever thought about sending in an image, now is the time. Just email them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name and the name of the game it was taken in. Easy!%Gallery-9798%

Guild Wars, with its extremely reasonable price-tag of "pay once, then play all you'd like" is right up there in terms of one of our favorite games. Not only is the price really good compared for what you get for your money, but it's certainly a lovely, lush land to run around in. Today's gorgeous Guild Wars screenshot from regular contributor Johanis reminds us of when we were new, stepping into the world. He writes in: Decided to give WoW and LotRO a break this weekend and started a new character in Guild Wars. Her name is Julae Sedure and she is a Warrior/Monk combination class. I forgot how absolutely beautiful Guild Wars is and find it a nice change of pace. This picture just made me feel good as the weather gets warmer and I find myself tempted to actually go outside in the real world and enjoy the weather. One Shots is still in need of more screenshots, so if you've got some time while out adventuring, why not gather some up for us and send them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com? Add your name, the game it's from - guild, server and description welcome too - and you're set! In return for your act of awesome, we'll show off your screenshot to all our readers and let them know you sent it in.%Gallery-9798%

We've seen various pop culture references in our various different MMOs, but this is perhaps the first time we can honestly say that we've seen a star lookalike in terms of the character's face in a game. Sure enough, our keen-eyed regular contributor, Johanis, was adventuring in Vanguard, and happened to notice that this character resembled a well-known face, so he sent this screenshot to us. He writes: Here is Urlay (doing her best Vanessa Williams impression) adventuring in Vanguard. Though she is a very low level Necromancer, I feel she is destined for greatness. Wish her luck!!!Have you spotted a character that looks like, or is named for, someone from pop culture? We love those pop culture references in MMOs. If you find some, send those in to us at oneshots [AT] massively [DOT] com along with your name, the name of the game, and a brief description. We'll post it out here and give you the nod for spotting it and sending it in.%Gallery-9798%

There's nothing quite as dreary as setting out on a sunny day, only to have the sky open up on you. Of course, when you're talking about MMOs like World of Warcraft, you have the option of just turning your in-game weather effects down - or up, if you're into rain. This gloomy, overcast One Shots comes to us today from regular contributor Johanis, who caught this poor gnome sitting alone in the rain. Sending along a pic of ToughOne...a Level 18 Warrior in World of Warcraft who was out in Westfall enjoying a few moments by a fire when a suddenly downpour of rain ruined his day. I'm sure we can all relate to having a day ruined by the weather. Somehow we can't feel too bad for him when he's running around with bunny ears on. Have you taken a picturesque - or not so picturesque - shot of your character that you'd like to show off? If so, we'd love to see it. Feel free to tell us about the character, why you picked the area, or whatever you'd like to add in! Send those in to oneshots AT massively DOT com, and we'll post it out here for everyone to check out.%Gallery-9798%

There's nobody on staff here that will tell you that starting out in EVE Online is easy. While it certainly is easier than it used to be, sandbox MMOs take time and patience to get the hang of - and finding a group of friends to play with really helps the most. The good news is that while New Eden can be terribly unforgiving to a new capsuleer, it certainly isn't hard on the eyes! Today's One Shots comes to us from regular contributor Johanis, who apparently decided to pop over and check EVE out. He writes: Here is a newly created character in EVE Online (like you don't get enough pics of this stunning game). Draymir is of the Gallente race and while he's still very wet behind the ears, he's learning very quickly how to survive (fighting and mining). Are you trying to get your foothold in a new game? If so, we'd love to see what some of your favorite moments from that new (to you) world are. Just email them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the game, and a brief description. We'll share it with everyone and give you the credit. %Gallery-9798%

There's something to be said for new characters. Sometimes it's a friend who came to game with us, sometimes it's a new alt, and once in a rare while, it's just a character rolled to relay one very silly image. No, we really don't think that's the only reason Johanis sent in a World of Warcraft screenshot of this shiny new Priestess, but we did get a good chuckle out of it when we read the brief note that came along with it. So, along with Noblegarden frippery, what gave us a smile? Check it out: Here is Faylana, a newly created Priest in World of Warcraft. She is fully enjoying her Spring Festival Dress and Bunny Ears. Next stop... Playboy Mansion! If you're enjoying a holiday event of some type, why not send in some screenshots of the merriment? We love to see what's going on in different MMOs throughout the year. With the beginning of a new work week for many, there's something to be said for a enjoying a delicious moment of schadenfreude. Today's Lord of the Rings Online One Shots from our regular MMO contributor, Johanis, brings us one such moment of 'I'm glad that's not me'. He writes in: Here is a pic of Baylu and a friend she found while wandering around the Midgewater Marsh. I would say the next time you feel your job is hard think about this poor guy. Needless to say Baylu didn't stick around long enough to shake his hand. We just have to ask... is that flaming poo? Do you have screenshots of your favorite game that you haven't sent in to us yet? You can imagine the sheer excitement of Lord of the Rings Online players today as they get ready to log in and get their Book 7 gaming on. With so many great new things coming, it's definitely one heck of a good time to be a Lord of the Rings Online player! As such, we figured today was a great day to bring you this gorgeous LotRO screenshot sent in to us by our regular (and gladly welcomed back) contributor, Johanis. In this one, we check in with his alt as he writes: Here is Baylu...my Warden surveying a beautiful day in The Shire. We definitely love the look of the lands of Middle-earth.If you're going to be heading out and enjoying all the new Book 7 content, why not grab some of those delicious screens of LotRO goodness and send them back here to your friends at Massively? People just love those pop-culture references in World of Warcraft! We've seen a bunch of them come in since we opened, but this is probably one of my favorites from Wrath. The above NPC is Agent Skully (obvious reference to the X-Files) sent in to us by Johanis. He added the following tale about that day: As Johanis ran through the New HearthGlen fortress in Dragonblight he found himself face to face with a 75 Elite Onslaught Caretaker by the name of Agent Skully. No Agent Mulder in sight but still on the search for him. I especially liked that she appeared to resemble the other Agent Scully rather remarkably (except the shovel of course)! Of course, Johanis - being Alliance - likely wouldn't know that Skully is actually a member of the Horde in disguise! We know WoW isn't the only game with these types of references in it, so if you've found one in your favorite game, why not send it in? Our email is oneshots AT massively DOT com, and all you have to add is your name, the game, and what the reference is in case our pop-culture-fu isn't as mighty as yours. Jumping from MMO to MMO is pretty common around here at the virtual Massively offices. Most of us have several MMO accounts going on - and more and more we find players who are also trying out different MMOs and enjoying all the different things each world has to offer. Today we bring you a Lord of the Rings Online One Shots from Johanis, who (up until now) has sent in screenshots from World of Warcraft. Johanis writes in: Here is a new character I created in Lord of the Rings Online. Her name is Kaytar and she is a Elf Warden. She is still very young and finding her way in Middle-earth but challenges like this Stone Troll appear to be no problem for her. Wish her luck.Do you enjoy hopping around and checking out new or interesting MMOs? If so, why not send your screens in of all the different worlds? We love traveling new places. It seems like a lot of players sign on each morning to knock out a nice and easy World of Warcraft Daily Quest - the Dalaran cooking dailies! If you're used to them, then you'll know that one of them is called Sewer Stew, which sends you after pieces of Chilled Meat and Crystalsong carrots so you can make a special batch of stew for a pub owner who lives in the sewer. (No, we're not entirely certain why anyone would put a pub in a sewer either, even if it is a renovated sewer.) But getting back to today's One Shots, this image of Crystalsong was sent in by Johanis, who writes: Took this picture today when Johanis visited Crystalsong (the land beneath Dalaran) to gather carrots for a cooking quest. The beauty of this particular area is hard to capture in a screenshot.Just out and about doing your normal daily things? We'd love a screenshot. Just send it to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name and the game it came from. Feel free to add a note, but it's not required. We'll post it here and give you the credit. Oh the weather outside is frightful... and for that matter, so is the above gnome Santa. We're not sure what kind of mayhem he's got planned, but we're really glad we're just getting a screenshot of this scary-looking gnome. Johanis, ever the brave World of Warcraft contributor, sent in this spooky first-hand view of a Santa-gnome seemingly bent on destruction. He writes in: While wandering around Stormwind I came across what I can only describe as "Bad Santa." He sure doesn't look like that happy guy who visited everyone only a week ago. Needless to say I didn't stick around long enough to find out who was naughty or nice. Yikes!!!Have you captured a frightening holiday shot (and no, we don't mean of your creepy Aunt wearing her favorite reindeer sweater) that you'd like to share with the world? Of course, if you're an enterprising World of Warcraft player, you can get just the right gift to go along with those holiday cookies, as our regular One Shots contributor, Johanis shows off. He writes in: Here is Johanis (in Christmas disguise) entering Stormwind. Santa mentioned he liked milk with his cookies...but this is the best he could find.
