European PSN releases for July 14
It's another fairly dry week for European PSN additions, though the release of DeathSpank serves as a cool, soothing oasis. If dipping your toes into Ron Gilbert's action-RPG doesn't sound like a satisfying venture, you could always embark on the new, downloadable map pack for Trine, or you could ... download some Crash Commando Avatars. That sounds like fun, doesn't it? Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)
PSN Tuesday: Landit Bandit, DeathSpank
Some slim pickings this week. DeathSpank is the unquestionably the biggest part of this update -- lest you count the unsavory amount of add-ons EA Sports has managed to conjure up for NCAA Football 11. Check out the full update after the break. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)
European PSN releases for July 7

Family Feud received 17... and three people answered "Liquid Soap" -- your guess is as good as ours. Check out the full PSN update after the break. The critically acclaimed Joe Danger leaps over three flaming tractor-trailers and makes a perfect landing on the European PSN today. If you prefer your downloadable games to be a bit more portable, a large chunk of the PSP Essentials Collection has been discounted, bringing titles like Daxter, LocoRoco and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters into the "dirt cheap" price range. Also, Guitar Hero 5 continues a string of puzzling DLC additions, adding a free pack of various National Anthems. No, not this National Anthem. These National Anthems. After last week's feast, today's European PSN update seems just a little thin. PS3 players get a handful of new titles, including Planet Minigolf, Death Track: Resurrection and the beloved PS1 classic Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus; while PSP owners get a metric ton of sales and price reductions on their downloadable titles. Prepare yourselves to sink a multitude of hours into Final Fantasy IX (you lucky jerks) -- or, if you're in the mood for something more modern, check out Fret Nice, Voodoo Dice or Episode 2 of Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Happy ModNation Racers day, everyone! A healthy portion of the European PSN update this week focuses on United Front's customizable racer on both its big and tiny platforms. There's also the launch of downloadable versions of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Armoured Core 3 Portable on the PSP, the addition of the "Darkspawn Chronicles" DLC for Dragon Age: Origins and Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator" finally gets added to Guitar Hero 5. We can sleep well tonight with that knowledge in our brains. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)
PSN Tuesday: Rocket Knight, Dragon Age's Darkspawn Chronicles
PSN Tuesday brings the cute and epic this week. Cute comes in the form of Rocket Knight, which may have some of its sales fueled by nostalgia, but can be a blast for those in the mood for classic (pseudo) 2D side-scrolling. The epic is delivered by Dragon Age: Origins' "Darkspawn Chronicles" DLC, which is just the latest add-on in the saga of Ferelden -- this one with a "what if" twist. PSN Tuesday: Test drive Split/Second, ModNation Racers
PSN Tuesday's big draw this week is kickin' the tires on Split/Second, developed by the same folks that brought us the equally gorgeous Pure. For those interested in DLC, there's new stuff for BioShock 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum and, naturally, LittleBigPlanet. PSP owners can pick up Harvest Moon: Hero Of Leaf Valley and Worms: Battle Islands. Split/Second isn't the only racing game with a demo -- ModNation Racers is also available for a test drive. European PSN releases for April 29
Though there's not much new in the "playable games" department, this week's PSN update adds a number of expansions to at least a few games you probably already own, such as Dante's Inferno, Super Street Fighter IV, MAG and Just Cause 2. The PSP gets some new DLC as well, in the shape of a new content kit for LittleBigPlanet and Buzz! Quiz World. Oh, and don't even worry about whether or not "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" made it into Karaoke Revolution, because, as of today, it totally has.
