Today we've got four new Champions Online screens to share with you, courtesy of Cryptic Studios. Combat obviously plays a large role in these latest screens, as with many of the other screens we've been seeing for a while now. Hopefully, we'll get to see some new travel powers sometime soon, as we're pretty sure Cryptic has been working on adding more before launch. But generally speaking, we never really tire of seeing screens from this game, especially when someone is getting smacked in the face with the backside of a sword. It's not pleasant, getting back-sworded, let us tell you. And something tells us that in the near future, we'll get some interesting new teaser screens. How do we know this? Just a statistical guess, really.Until that happens, reveling in the utter violence of these screens will do just fine.%Gallery-17946%

Eight brand-spanking-new screens for Champions Online have been released into the wild in order to sate your appetite. So what do you say dear readers, is your appetite diminished? Yeah we didn't think it really would be, but that's no biggie. That September launch is only a couple months away and we've got our imaginations to keep us occupied.Just knowing that soon we'll be able to pound in the faces of robot cowboys -- and do it in style -- is a little heartening. There's also the screenshot above to consider. Do you want to rock some classic Electro mask action, or would you prefer dual-weilding guns? They're both options, you know. We're not entirely sure at this point, maybe we could dual weild guns that shoot lightning. Yeah, let's go with that one.%Gallery-17946%

Turbine continues to shower us with imagery of their next free content update Volume II, Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dûm. This go-around we've been treated to a look at the Hall of Mirrors, a place where giant expensive looking mirrors shine light into the otherwise dark, vast caves.Look, we're not sure it's so wise to have all these mirrors where things like giant wolves and bat monsters live, especially when adventurers seem to think it's fun to stomp through the place and fight everything in sight. Sooner or later, you know one of those giant mirrors is going to break. And what's the cost do you think? Probably several platinum pieces that frankly, we don't have.%Gallery-64288%

Reakktor Media have released three new Black Prophecy screenshots featuring Tyi fighters blasting about space and a human shuttle exploding rather... violently. We really wouldn't want to be in that shuttle, but what self-respecting space pilot jumps into a shuttle anyhow? No, you can expect to find us in a heavy fighter blowing up other shuttles. In all seriousness, Black Prophecy really does incite a kind of awe for sci-fi and space fans alike. The completionists out there who've sampled EVE Online's visual delicacies and plan to delve into Jumpgate Evolution like a duck through gold coins, are probably -- much like ourselves -- excited to see what precious jewels are to be discovered in the latest space shooter MMO to tempt out better senses.%Gallery-46991%

There are a vast array of costumes a person can create in Champions Online, but why would anyone want to be anything other than the majestic super Luchador? We ask you this in earnest: Could you knowing not create a superpowered practitioner of lucha libre? Certainly not, although there are other options beyond the inescapably amazing power of the mysterious masked liberator of the people. For instance, you could make an... um, Japanese animation inspired robot? A robotic Luchador! All right, that didn't work for us -- but maybe you can overcome our insatiable need to don a glammored mask and cape.Check out the gallery if you need some creative inspiration, or just want to make googely eyes are pretty, shiny screenshots.%Gallery-17946%

A batch of five new screens have been released by Cryptic for Champions Online, and some of them really pack a punch! Okay, so we may have started this with a cheesy joke, but at least that's out of the way. Now we can get to the serious stuff, like pointing out the fact that every single one of these screenshots holds a unique hero. The depth of the character creator is no secret, but it's always nice to have proof as well.Something else we've noticed is that it looks like the game's visuals are pretty much finalized, meaning the slight Champions Online release date nudge will be aiding development elsewhere -- most likely content, bugs and an overall smoothing out. Check out all the newest screens in our gallery!%Gallery-17946%

The very first screens from Lord of the Rings Online's upcoming free update are some of the best yet, featuring the Water Wheels and a new -- and enormous -- enemy fighting various player characters. We're really digging the monster design here, and highly recommend that you check it our for yourself to see what we're talking about. Our guess is that the Water Wheels is a new instance. Can we just say that the whole wood and stone architecture is really awesome? It certainly adds some new variety to Turbine's envisioning of Middle-earth, not that there wasn't any to begin with -- making the achievement that much more impressive. There's sure to be more screens and potentially concept art in the days to come, so keep your eyes peeled for it! And while you're doing that be sure to be on the lookout for our forthcoming Volume 2: Book 8 developer tour, too.%Gallery-64288%

Namco-Bandai just sent us a bunch of new media for The Munchables, including a pair of trailers and several new screens (you can check them out in the gallery below). Namco-Bandai has described this as Pac-Man meets Katamari Damacy, but we're pretty sure that comparison is inaccurate. Instead, we'd say it has equal parts Pac-Man, Katamari Damacy, and Violet Beauregarde. Head past the break for the second trailer (and more addictive tunes).%Gallery-46714%

More robots are always a good thing, as everyone knows you can never have too many robots. Well, maybe a man named John Conner would disagree -- but we digress. Evil or no, there have been a lot of robotic things in the latest slew of Champions Online screens and we highly approve.Thankfully, if you were hoping for more than robot (but who would!?) then you'll be happy to see some evil sorcerer goings on as well. Plus, we're pretty sure we saw some sweet, sweet chest beam action in this other screen. Robot, necromancers and chest beams? It certainly didn't take long for US-based projector screen manufacturer SI and Canadian electronics provider Paradigm to make their new partnership official. The two high-end oriented companies unveiled their plans at CES, but Paradigm is now officially the worldwide distributor of SI's motorized, fixed and curved screens. Although sadly out of our own financial reach, this sounds like a good arrangement for the two companies as they look to provide one-stop shopping convenience for well-heeled HT buffs. With Paradigm speakers, Anthem electronics, Anthem-branded JVC projectors and SI screens in the mix, a tasy -- if expensive -- HT combo can definitely be cooked up.

Three new Champions Online screens showing off the underwater zone of Lemuria have been released into the wild. It seems as though Cryptic was saving some of the more visually astonishing locales for later on, because by all accounts Lemuria is stunningly beautiful -- and we've only seen four still images of it so far. And of course, yes, we'll have to refrain from fully judging how good the zone looks until we get to see it in motion. Still, we've got high hopes. If you're interested in reading up on the latest there is to know about Champions Online, take a look at our official developer blogs as well as news feed on the game. Light on action, these newest drops of delicious eye candy draw from of each of the game's six different origin stories. Fans of punching and trying to dodge the punches of others, your day has come: Take-Two has announced Don King Boxing for both the Wii and DS. Sure, the company announced the game way back in 2007, but we had no idea the game was actually still in production until we received a slight update last month. Now, Take-Two is finally getting around to reminding us about the pugilistic title's existence with a release date, new screens, and a new trailer. The game is set for release on March 31 for both DS and Wii, with the latter version supporting Nintendo's Balance Board peripheral. After watching the above trailer, we have to say we're pretty interested in the game. You see, one of our more darker pleasures in life is punching people in the face. We like to do it in video games because, well, it saves us from going to jail.%Gallery-40316%

We may have caught a glimpse at the game already, thanks to some blurry Famitsu scans, but now we have some actual clear images -- and these look nice. We've always been big fans of the simple and charming approach of Bubble Bobble, so a WiiWare update to the franchise seems like a good fit. If you pop over to Famitsu, you can see various screens from the game, which Famitsu reminds us will include 400 unique stages. In fact, the game also features a full recreation of the original Bubble Bobble, for those nostalgic folks out there. And there are even some high difficulty levels if you find capturing enemies in bubbles a bit too easy.On top of that, this new WiiWare installment offers 4-player local co-op and a brand new enemy. It can be expanded further with 2 DLC packs, which will go for 200 Points each, with each individual pack offering 50 stages of high difficulty, quick-moving enemies and a unique boss character. There will also be Wi-Fi leaderboards, if you and your friends want to compare who can Bubble Bobble the best.[Thanks, Fernando]
