In a document about its "Strategies and Plans" for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012, Capcom provided estimates for how many copies of its upcoming games it expects to sell. Or "plans" to sell, although those plans aren't entirely up to Capcom. It expects the biggest seller of the fiscal year to be Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which it estimates will sell 2.5 million units. Following that is Street Fighter x Tekken at 2 million -- a game whose presence suggests a release before next April, even though the date is still listed as "TBA." The open-world action game Dragon's Dogma is expected to sell around a million and a half, the first step in an initiative mentioned elsewhere in the document: to "develop Dragon's Dogma and Asura's Wrath into new franchises." And Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Capcom's modern-day answer to Final Fight Guy, is expected to sell around 800,000 worldwide.

Six fighters have joined the ranks of confirmed characters in Capcom's crossover fighting game, Street Fighter X Tekken. We already knew Ryu, Chun-Li, Kazuya and Nina Williams would be exchanging blows when the game drops next year -- now we can add Ken, Guile and Abel to the Street Fighter camp, and King, Marduk and Bob to Team Tekken. We think this opens up some pretty interesting teammate possibilities. Like, can you imagine a more terrifying fighting force than one that includes an army guy who can punch through the sound barrier and another guy who replaced his own head with a jaguar head? We cannot. Check out the galleries, gameplay trailer and totally trippy cinematic trailer below for a look at these new-old pugilists in action!

For most of us, recent tweets from Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono have been good news, because they feature new screenshots of Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken. All of these screens, depicting the same four characters we've seen in other Street Fighter X Tekken media, curiously seem to show the Tekken characters being beaten up by Ryu and Chun-Li. Ono also tweeted an "invitation" to a GamesCom presentation during which he and Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada will both appear and show off the game. Which brings us to the one person for whom these tweets aren't great news. Ono entreated fans to "gather with me to rid of Harada's annoying beard off his baby face once and for all."%Gallery-99368%

Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono expects Street Fighter X Tekken to be released in two years, with the Capcom-developed fighter debuting first in the proposed two-game deal. Speaking to Famitsu (via Andriasang), Ono added that Tekken X Street Fighter, under development at Namco Bandai with long-time franchise producer Katsuhiro Harada, is being developed completely separately -- and the two teams aren't actively sharing information. Are they locked in battle, trying to see who'll make the better game? Place your bets now, ladies and gentlemen. Ono claims the next major announcement for the crossover won't occur until Capcom's Captivate conference, which will likely be held next April. In the meantime, check out the SFXT reveal at Comic-Con after the break -- along with some serious hootin' and hollerin'.

According to Event Hubs, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono recently dropped a fairly sizable bomb on attendees of the company's "Street Fighter Mania!: SSFIV and Beyond" panel at Comic-Con: Street Fighter X Tekken. The oft-rumored project will be developed by Capcom using the Street Fighter IV engine (only with two-fighter tag team battles), and will feature a number of fighters from Namco's similarly successful fighting franchise, including Kazuya and Nina Williams. But that's not all! Ono also revealed that Namco Bandai would be developing Tekken X Street Fighter, which will be developed in-house at Tekken, and spearheaded by long-time franchise producer Katsuhiro Harada. Both titles will be released for 360 and PS3, though according to a cheeky slide at the end of the presentation, the current release window is "not for a while!" Update: Now with video!
