The title is imperative for a reason. Seriously, you should either be working on a t-shirt right now or headed out to Michaels to pick up supplies. Oh, or reading this post. That's totally fine.To make this Princess Peach shirt, HackerZen user Lenore adapted the technique used by a very faithful reader to make his Phoenix Wright shirt, adding the extra step of drawing a grid on the shirt with a washable marker, then filling in pixels to make a big sprite. Excellent. But don't just default to Mario. There are a lot of sprites out there. Get creative![Via GoNintendo]

Want this ill-lookin' PaRappa the Rapper tee? We sure do. To help promote the upcoming PSP version, Sony has contracted Paul Frank Industries and PaRappa's "co-creator and artist", Rodney Alan Greenblat, to create a limited edition t-shirt. The shirt will display Paul Frank's signature character Julius and Sony's adorable PaRappa the Rapper. According to Sony, there will be several PaRappa promotions throughout the summer: both online and at numerous PlayStation promotional events including Wizard World, ComiCon, LollaPalooza, PAX and more.We begged Sony to give us a couple of shirts to give away to our readers. Let's hope they've heard our pleas.

Delivered this morning by stork: the first run of our TUAW t-shirts! We'll be giving away about a dozen of these next week during WWDC (not all of which we'll give away on Monday night, so look for the prize patrol). And yes, those not attending WWDC will have a shot at winning a t-shirt later this year. We're not sure when and we're not sure how, but it'll happen. To take a gander at the full shirt, check out the gallery.

Mark Newton and his coworkers at Gamestop received this "We're Building an Armii" shirt from their store's Nintendo representative, making sure to post a photo of their spoils for us to envy over with aching hearts. Thanks a lot, guys. Thanks for NOTHING.We're not sure which war Nintendo plans on shipping these Miis to, but just how useful would these guys be in any combat situation? Playing Wii Sports: Tennis is one thing, but keeping your cool while you're under fire and your buddy next to you is filled with shrapnel, begging you to take him home and make things alright again like they were before, is another. March two klicks past the post break for a closer look at the shirt swag.

  • Kanji Dragon blows through Akihabara

Sunday came and went, taking with it our hopes of ever meeting Kanji Dragon's martial artist. The kung-fu character posed for a few shots at Success Corp's Akihabara event over the weekend, hyping the kanji-training action title. Just looking at the photos and all the fun we missed out on feels like getting crane-kicked right in the heart.Though we didn't get to attend the soiree, it certainly wasn't from lack of trying. We stuffed our Pokemon backpacks with dozens of DS and GBA games, our favorite G.I. Joes, and a plastic baggie loaded with Pringles (these were crushed into little flaky bits before we even zipped our Squirtle bags shut) before heading out to hitchhike a ride to Japan, but we didn't even make it past two blocks before the police picked us up and drove us home. Our parents were pissed. Hissatsu Kung Fu: Kanji Dragon DVDs containing all of the game's promotional videos, including an unreleased action clip, were passed out to attendees. Peek past the post break for another exciting image from the event and a look at the multicolored shirts that were given to those who preordered the title. You might also see us hugging our knees in the corner, sniffling and trying to pretend like we just didn't spend all afternoon crying.

  • Kanji Dragon scheduled to kick Akihabara's ass

We're well aware that the gaming press couldn't care less about Hissatsu Kung Fu: Kanji Dragon; interest for a kanji-training beat 'em up is niche at best, and to be honest, this whole kung fu theatre advertising push is a bit silly. But are we going to let that stop us from inundating you with every single scrap of Kanji Dragon news that we come across? Of course not!Success Corp. will be celebrating the educational brawler's June 7th release with a special event this Sunday at Akihabara's Sofmap amusement complex. Attendees will be able to play the game and will even receive a limited edition T-shirt if they pre-order a copy. The title's fumbling mascot will also be making an appearance, handing out Kanji Dragon Director's Cut DVDs. Make sure to check past the post break for a larger version of the disc's explosive cover. To say we're disheartened by the fact that we won't be able to attend is an understatement. We wept bitter tears as we read the press release's jumbled Google translation, yelling out in grief when we learned that we'd miss out on free souvenirs. Rod Stewart poignantly sang "So Far Away" as a montage of us drowning our sorrows with too many drinks and loose women played right before fading to black.

  • Wear Baby Link, if you have the courage

This Zelda shirt, cleverly called Born to High-Rule, offers a look at a rarely-discussed part of the Zelda mythology: the birth of Link, rendered here in a stylized graphic. If we ever wore a shirt featuring a widdle baby Link, it would probably be this one. Even if there were some other ones.We like the details that make up the background: the hearts, hookshot, and other Zelda doodads. We especially like that the boomerang is complimented by an eminently boomerangable Keese, just like it always should be.[Via Wonderland]

Rainy Sunday news flash: Apple's packaging acumen extends even to giveaway swag. Our friend Chris over at Autoblog thoughtfully put together an unboxing gallery for his attractive, black, size XL t-shirt from the Summit (Birmingham, AL) store opening. I might have to get one of those shirts somehow, since I used to live in a place called The Summit Hotel. It's no iPhone, but then again, an iPhone can't keep you warm in a nor'easter. Did I mention it's raining? %Gallery-2580%

A new set of official Katamari Damacy t-shirts has been unveiled at Panic. The Mac software company serendipitously walked into a licensing deal with Namco a few years ago and are the only official source for Katamari apparel. Apart from the soundtrack, this is the only merchandise that has received Katamari creator Keita Takahashi's approval.Takahashi designed the shirts himself and each one features a short paragraph explaining his inspiration. There are five new shirts, each retails for $24.95. Previously only available in a few areas, Panic can now ship to the following countries: USA, Japan, Canada, Korea, UK, France, Germany, and Spain.

With the opening bar of the third verse in his debut single "Juicy," Biggie prioritized a young male's desires, putting video games at the top of his (now fulfilled) wish list. The words resonated with youth everywhere; even with those who might not otherwise identify with the Brooklyn-bred 'Bad Boy.' Admit it, you've rapped along to the words..."Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis,When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this 50-inch screen, money green leather sofa..."KarmaLoop.com pays homage to these rhymes with a pricey ($29) concept tee.

There's nothing like a funny t-shirt to commemorate all the Wii strap drama, real or Photoshopped, and we dig this design. The illusion of a Wiimote protruding from one's chest is comedy gold. But we do want to take a moment to wonder what's next in the deluge of Wii-themed shirts. Maybe a montage of 'chopped faces, complete with black eyes and swollen, bruised skin from fake Wii injuries? Eh, we'll go with the busted television. Less is more.[Thanks, Josh!]

  • Mii on a Tee, but the shirts aren't free

We're sure you've spent an hour or thirty in Zelda by now, and maybe you've tightened up your bowling and golf games in Wii Sports, but face it: your most notable Wii achievement so far is that Mii avatar you've been tweaking these past few weeks. The good news is that while your most recent dungeon exploits might not translate so well to some sort of torso covering garment, Mii on a Tee happens to be a quite aesthetically pleasing way of showing off your Wii fanboyism. Unfortunately, at £19.99 (about $35 US) these things aren't exactly free -- though there's no use worrying about that, we know you can't resist.[Via Nintendo Wii Fanboy]

Wearing your fandom is cool. We get that. Spending $175 on a t-shirt ... now that's more difficult to understand. Now, if it transforms into a disposable robot assassin when you remove it, perhaps that would be worth it. But for this? Just go buy a few DS games and then have a sandwich. Hell, have two.Check out an up-close shot of the t-shirt after the jump.

  • Joyswag: A Castle Crashers tee for your thoughts ... the revenge! [update 1]

    09.12.2006

On Sunday we asked you to leave a comment with your feedback on Castle Crashers for a chance to win an adorable Castle Crashers tee. 210 of you did and, after running the numbers at random.org, our first result was #76. The seventy-sixth comment was posted by one Mr. Franky Digital, who wrote, "This could very well resurrect the side-scrolling beat-'em-up genre for a new generation. Every generation should have a Turtles in Time."That got us thinking. We have another Castle Crashers tee to hand out (size XL), but who to give it to? All you have to do is leave a comment telling us what your favorite side-scrolling beat-'em-up is/was and why. Hate side-scrolling beat-'em-ups? We'd like to know that also (but you better have a good reason why). We'll select one at random and award them the final tee. Good luck![Upate: A quick roll of the random.org die and we've got comment 96, in which Kiey chose Konami's classic Genesis beat 'em up Sunset Riders. Congrats Kiey, you won the tee!]

  • Limited edition Shadow of the Colossus tee

We're certain this limited edition Shadow of the Colossus tee will have some of our readers fumbling through their chubby trifolds, weaving in and out of grocery club cards, de-laminated licenses, and ATM receipts, just to find that one credit card that isn't maxed out on import video games. But you'd better be quick, cause these are limited editions. Due to go on sale tomorrow, this $30 CAD (about $27 USD) shirt features a towering colossus (number three if we're not mistaken) being approached by Agro carrying our fearless protagonist. It comes in the regular assortment of sizes (which are the same in Canada as the States, no?) but there's only 200 to go around. So, if you managed to find that credit card, you still have to be quick (feel free to insert your own 12:01 joke here). [Thanks, jerry]

Despite the slower pace of today's PAX offerings, we're sure there's still plenty of readers rocking day three. In recognition of their fortitude, we've got a (relatively small) backpack full of variously sized Joystiq shirts we'll be handing out. A couple eagle eyed readers have already spotted us and asked for, nay, demanded a shirt and we, of course, obliged them with great celerity.Know this: there aren't many shirts to go around, so if you want one let's try to be discreet, k? Also, we're really rocking the smaller sizes, so we're looking at you ladies (or diminutive fellas, we're cool with that also).

Hmm... what to wear? You could wear a t-shirt from Saved by the Bell's Screech... OR you could buy one of these totally awesome Loco Roco shirts. They proudly feature our blubbery friend against a maroon background, and is available for both men and women (but not six year old girls). They may be a bit pricey ($22), but that's a hell of a lot cheaper than those insanely expensive (and cool) King of Games shirts. Also available is a shirt for you Silent Hill fans. Now go watch that Origins footage again, and again.[Via DS Fanboy]
