Resident Evil 5 DLC adds new online multiplayer modes
PS3 owners of Resident Evil 5 will find a special surprise waiting for them when comparing their Trophy info with friends. Capcom has (accidentally?) revealed information about the game's upcoming DLC through newly uploaded Trophies. The DLC appears to introduce a number of new online modes: Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus. It's not exactly clear what these modes entail, but they appear to be competitive modes. "Team Survivors" gives us hope that Capcom is working on a co-operative mode inspired by Resident Evil Outbreak Left 4 Dead.See the new Trophies after the break.

Age of Booty Trophy patch now live worldwide
We're not sure how likely you are to care at this point -- almost four months after the game's initial release -- but Age of Booty has finally been patched with Trophies. The patch is available to download now on both sides of the Atlantic. Simply load up the game and the patch will download automagically. Hopefully this marks one of the last times we'll have to write a post regarding a Trophy patch, though Bionic Commando Rearmed is still due to receive one at some point. However, with the game having released over half a year ago, we hope you're not still holding your breath.
Trophy tracking coming soon to PlayStation.com
Do you know the exact number of Trophies you have ... off the top of your head? We know how tedious it is loading up your PS3 every time you want to remind yourself of your in-game accomplishments. Thankfully, this is now a thing of the past. Once PlayStation.com updates with its new Trophy tracking features, you'll be able to check your PSN level, Trophy count and lists for each individual game from anywhere with internet access.The update is due to go live tomorrow. The functionality will be very basic at launch, allowing you to simply check your own Trophy stats. After a later update, you'll be able to compare your Trophies against friends' and "look at your Trophies in new and interesting ways." We're hoping the info will be made available for third-party applications and websites to access at some point in the future, too. New iPhone app lists Trophies ... and not much else
A new iPhone app by UIEvolution, named the "Trophy Guide," seeks to make your Trophy hunting life much easier by allowing you to access any game's Trophy list even when you're away from your computer and PS3. This is especially handy for when you want to ... um ... nope, we don't get it. The application has no way of collecting your Trophy stats (which might actually be useful), either manually or automatically. Instead, it lists a game's Trophies, along with its image and collection requirements. Sure, it's pretty enough, but we don't really see the point in downloading an external app that simply downloads data from the net which can be revealed just as quickly by using the iPhone's web browser.

Prince of Persia: Epilogue to add new Trophies
Trophy whores have undoubtedly played Prince of Persia -- it's one of the easiest Platinum Trophies available on the system. The upcoming "Epilogue" expansion pack continues the story and adds a new magic ability called "Energize." The Prince and Elika must work together to fight a new enemy, the appropriately named Shapeshifter.The Epilogue expansion is scheduled for release next week.
