Was Steve right all along?

Adobe has confirmed that they are ceasing development of Flash for mobile:

What does this mean for the future of Flash?

RIP Mobile Flash
Steve Jobs probably had more of a hand in killing flash for mobile devices as opposed to just being right. The huge iOS market share combined with the challenges Adobe had trying to support many many mobile versions that ran on the hundred or so different Android phone variants spelled the end of flash for mobile. I wouldn't be surprised to see Flash stick around for desktops and laptops for awhile longer.

Of course he was right. He may have been bitter at Adobe or driven by any other number of motivations, but he was a smart guy, and creating the best possible product was what drove him. A mobile device running Flash is objectively worse than one not running it.
