Given that you've surely got rafts of free cash to burn through right now, we know you're eager beyond belief to drop north of four large on a new gaming notebook. To that end, we're utterly thrilled to announce that Toshiba's Qosmio X305-Q708 (starts at $4,199, goes to just under infinity) is available for purchase direct from the company. If that just seems downright insane to you, the three-GPU X305-Q706 is also available now for "just" $1,999.99. The big ticket inclusion here? An NVIDIA GeForce 9400M paired with two GeForce 9800 GTS GPUs. Or, enough to make Crysis weep.

We're still scratching our noggins in a futile attempt to figure out the LifeBook U820's real purpose on this Earth, but for those who've got it all figured out, you'll likely be thrilled to know that this puppy is now on sale. $999 buys you a mini convertible tablet with an Intel Atom Z530 CPU, a 5.6-inch WXGA touchscreen, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 60GB 4,200RPM hard drive, built-in GPS / Garmin Mobile PC, Ethernet, a webcam / fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth / WiFi and a 4-cell battery. There's also a $1,299 version if that other variant just isn't up to your standards, but at any rate, feel free to punch the read link and have a think before pulling the trigger on either.

Sprint's HTC Touch Pro now available for purchase online, as promised

We heard last week when Sprint launched the HTC Touch Pro at "select national retailers" that the device would be available online on November 2nd. Well, it's November 2nd, and they've kept their promise. The base retail price of the QWERTY smartphone is $579.99, but an "instant savings" of $180 combined with a $100 mail-in-rebate brings the price down to palatable $299.99 (with a 2-year agreement, needless to say). Of course, if you're really starved for human contact, you could always head over to a Sprint store and buy one in person, too.

Apple's refreshed MacBook Air now shipping to giddy buyers

You know those spec-bumped MacBook Airs that were announced around a fortnight ago alongside those shiny (literally) new MacBooks / MacBook Pros? Yeah, well they're shipping. Reports filled with intense levels of joviality are beginning to spring up on Mac message boards the intarwebz over, and within them are proclamations of tracking number receipts. Sure, a new NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics system, a slightly speedier CPU and a mini DisplayPort are worth getting jazzed over, but try not to blow a cork while bottled up in that cube of yours, okay?

mophie's iPhone 3G Juice Pack ships today, not a moment too soon

C'mon, what iPhone 3G user who actually takes full advantage of that 3G radio hasn't been disappointed with battery life at one point or another? And be honest, you're also disappointed with the downright naff battery extenders floating around out there. Granted, mophie's iPhone 3G Juice Pack isn't the most elegant thing in the entire world, but the "sled" design sure beats adding an unwanted appendage onto your handset. The device -- which is shipping today to those who pre-ordered early -- will reportedly provide up to 350 additional hours of standby, up to 6 hours of 3G talk time (or 12 hours on 2G), another 6 hours of web surfing and a 458% boost in overall happiness. Hell, you'd pay $99.95 just for the latter, now wouldn't you?

Elmo Live! on sale tomorrow for $59.99 (if you're lucky)

After the whole Tickle Me Elmo craze a few years back, you just knew Fisher-Price was going to ride this wave until it simply couldn't stay afloat any longer. Elmo Live!, hailed as the "most innovative and engaging Elmo toy ever," will officially hit store shelves tomorrow (October 14th) for $59.99, though we suspect the first batch will be snapped up in no time flat. Of course, those of you intent on retaining your sanity probably pre-ordered a few months back, but for everyone else, your battle to get one of this year's hottest holiday gifts starts in under 24 hours. For those wondering what's so special about this fellow, he supposedly tells jokes and makes movements that "give kids the feeling that Elmo is alive in their own homes." Whether that's really a good thing, however, is totally up to you.

10.2-inch Averatec Buddy now on sale for $450

Finally, a netbook with a name cute enough to fit the design. Averatec's 10.2-inch Buddy is now on sale after becoming official late last month, and it's in stock for shipment to boot. As a refresher, you'll get a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Ethernet, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a WXGA panel, 4-in-1 multicard reader, three USB 2.0 ports and Windows XP Home running the show. Oh, and Averatec's own e-store asserts that this 10.2-inch machine has a 12.1-inch LCD, but you know better than that. Yours now for $449.99.

Nokia's N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition in stock for $493

Go figure -- Sprint goes live with its XOHM WiMAX service, and all of a sudden, the long-awaited Nokia N810 WiMAX edition pops in stock. Crazy, we know. After seeing this puppy announced (and in the flesh) way back in April of this year, it's about time Nokia made it available to Americans with the cash to spare. As of right now, the 4.13-inch, QWERTY-packin' Internet Tablet can be ordered for $493, and unless Nokia's fibbing, it's in stock for shipment. Hello 4G, we're thrilled you're here.

Samsung's NC10 netbook on sale in US for $480

Generally speaking, Americans can count on the US price of any particular piece of kit being a fair bit less than the straight pound-to-dollar conversion. Unfortunately, the exchange rate here is nearly on point, with the £299 NC10 10-inch netbook on sale for $480 (give or take a few nickles) in the US of A. Granted, it looks as if it'll be a fortnight or so at the very least before any Yanks can wrap their grimy paws around the germ-shunning PC, but we've already got the e-tailers lining up to hold your place in line. Who knows -- maybe our version will come with built-in WiMAX and 12-hours of battery life to really sweeten the deal.

LG's BD300 Netflix / Blu-ray deck ships on October 10 for $349

Contrary to what LG coerced us into believing at CEDIA, its Netflix / Blu-ray-lovin' BD300 will actually be sold a full $50 cheaper than the previously quoted $399.95. Circuit City has the deck up for pre-order right this very moment for $349.99 (okay, so maybe that's not a full $50, but c'mon), and better still, the retailer is listing an October 10th release date. Now that Netflix has inked deals with CBS, ABC and Starz, there's just one question left: are you in for three fifty?

Canon EOS 50D begins filtering out, gets previewed

Official word says Canon's EOS 50D DSLR isn't shipping until October 6th, but we've found a number of pre-orderers that would beg to disagree. Take enthusiast Roland Lim for example, who has acquired a production unit and ran it through a series of basic, but entirely relevant tests. He's admittedly leaving the "comprehensive technical review" to someone else, but his laundry list of impressions is quite stout. We're told that the body is "essentially the same as the 40D," with the buttons, dials and LCD in exactly the same spots. In the end, he attempts to answer the all-important "should I upgrade?" question; thanks to this one being a mere evolutionary advancement of the 40D, he didn't think it was all that compelling unless you were still rocking some seriously old kit. ASUS veers back onto familiar trail with Eee PC 900HA

It's with palm planted firmly on forehead that we announce ASUS' Eee PC 900HA. For a brief moment in time, we actually thought that the outfit was finally realizing that the moniker needed a break, and considering just how fantastic the N10 performed without three vowels preceding it, can you really blame us? Nevertheless, the company seems to have strayed back into familiar territory with the 900HA, which is essentially a 900A with a hefty 160GB hard drive. Other specs include a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP Home, a 4-cell battery, 802.11b/g WiFi and an 8.9-inch 1,024 x 600 display. Expect it to ship just in time for the 900XXLHA's introduction for $349.99.

Don't hold out on us -- we know good and well you've been eying HP's bigger than big HDX 18 ever since it got real last month. For those unable to resist the urge to find out what life's like with an 18-inch entertainment notebook gracing their lap (and likely the lap of the guy one cube over), you can order this sucker up right now.
