Just in case you were wondering where and when you might get a taste of the Optimus elixir, NVIDIA has handed us a detailed list of Computex debutants that will be taking the graphics switching technology with them to retail. A total of sixteen new Optimus machines are on show in Taipei, and although ASUS is still the biggest purveyor (with six SKUs, not counting previously announced products), Lenovo and Acer have also jumped on board, with the IdeaPad Y460 and a pair of Packard Bell EasyNotes, respectively. Notably, the FX700 above from MSI is marked as using an "unannounced" next-gen graphics chip, which we suspect might be the GTX 460M, a mobile GPU that NVIDIA is showing, but not talking about yet. Guess that'll be slotting in just below the recently unveiled GTX 480M. We've got pictorial evidence of the 460M's existence after the break, along with the full list of new Optimus-ized machines, which you can also scope out in the gallery below.%Gallery-94167%

Archos is totally getting in on the netbook game with the announcement of their own branded model (actually just a re-packaged Hasee MJ125), the Archos 10. This little 10.2-incher (with 1024 x 600 resolution) is going to pack a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, with a 3-cell battery, WiFi, and three USB ports -- nothing to get too excited about, for sure, but we'll wait with breath bated for word on pricing and availability. Chinese computer manufacturer Hasee looks to be bringing some relatively low-cost all-in-one PC action to its home country, recently announcing its F200D model, which just manages to squeeze under 3,000 yuan mark (about $388). Of course, that much yuan only goes so far, netting you only a 15.4-inch widescreen display, an Intel Celeron M 360 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 40GB hard drive, Intel GMA 900 integrated graphics, a DVD drive, and six USB 2.0 ports to satisfy your expansion appetite. There doesn't appear to be any word on an exact release date, or any indication if it'll be available outside of China, though we wouldn't bet on it.

  • Haseenote's JIVE W205R Core Duo MacBook clone for Korea

Maybe it's a bit harsh to call this thing a MacBook rip, they're just taking a few cues from the uber-successful Apple design after all, but with Haseenote's design, production and distribution all set firmly in Korea, what are they going to do about it? Questionably relevant design comparisons aside, this new JIVE W205R looks like a nice little laptop. The 12-inch screen runs at 1280 x 800 pixels, and the 1.66GHz Core Duo T2050, 1GB of RAM, 80GB SATA HDD and DVD burner all sound plenty spicy. The Radeon Xpress 200M with 64MB of VRAM won't exactly burn through graphics chores, but it's better than some integrated alternative. But the best news is that Haseenote managed all this fun in a 2.7 pound enclosure for a bit more than $1000 USD. Not bad at all.

Yeah, these are just Korea-bound laptops, but there's some good stuff going on here for a decent price, so we thought we'd show you just the same. The 6.2 pound laptop holds a 15.4-inch screen, Core Duo T2300 1.66GHz processor, DVD burner, WLAN, 80GB SATA HDD and an ATI Radeon X1600. Hasee skimped a bit on the 512MB of RAM, but they're including a DVI port, along with your (well, your Korean friend's) choice of a DMB TV tuner or an external Sony HDD. The whole package is 1070 Euros, about $1342 USD. Not quite bargain basement, but it's getting there.
