The $25.50 Stylophone Beatbox doesn't look like much, and if it weren't for one Brett Domino and his partner in hip-hop crime Steven Peavis, we just might have continued about our lives without knowing of this thing's potential. Described as the ultimate street cred token for the average white boy, this diminutive box reacts to panel presses by dishing out the hottest beats this side of Compton. The result? An eclectic mix of melodic rap tunes, all beautifully re-rendered by Leeds' most handsome, talented and skilled resident. Hit the video after the break if you know what's good for ya, and feel free to fast forward to 1:33 before having your mind blown. Thug lyfe, y'all. [Via Gizmodo]

Warning! There's an expletive-filled trailer below for the film Nerdcore Rising. It also features people binge drinking Yoo-Hoo, just so we have full disclosure. If you haven't heard about the movie before, it's a documentary that follows MC Frontalot on his first national tour as he goes from South Carolina to last year's PAX, where he was captured on film by our own Christopher Grant.Nerdcore, which is trying hard to become its own genre of music, features songs about everything from Dungeons & Dragons to 8-bit video games, and the film explores what that's all about with Frontalot, his band, and several other Nerdcore artists. The film premiered at SXSW in Austin earlier this year, but PAX gets the goodness of the first-ever west coast showing of the flick this Saturday at 4pm. Head below the break to see the special PAX trailer for the movie, created by director Negin Farsad and MC Frontalot himself.

Hacking your Roomba to sing and dance is one thing, but reprogramming The Rock-afire Explosion animatronic robot band to belt out rap tunes is undoubtedly on another level. Ripped straight from Showbiz Pizza Place, Fatz Geronimo and crew have apparently been reworked to perform Ms. New Booty, a less than flattering (but entirely comical) piece. So if you're in desperate need of a midday laugh, be sure and check out the video after the break.[Via BoingBoing]

Good news, my fellow PSP fanboys. I bring you tidings of yet another great franchise making its way to our beloved handheld. According to a German gaming site, Famitsu is reporting PaRappa the Rapper will be released for the PSP sometime in the future. No other details have been released, but I'm hoping for an all-new title. Possibly PaRappa 3?In the game, players must copy amazingly catchy raps by pressing the right buttons at a specific time and in correct order. Sounds kinda lame, but if you've ever played the game, you're probably like me and immediately fell in love with it. Just the thought of playing this amazing franchise on the go has me as giddy as a Japanese school girl.[Thanks Daniel][Update 1: Fixed the school-girl link so no one will get fired.][Update 2: There will be 4 player multiplayer in this "updated" port.]
