I had high expectations when I went to get this phone. After some use, it wasn't all that I thought it would be. New phone, great processor, GB ram, etc. But the processor really drains the battery, GB of ram is half gone due to HTC processes, and it warms up with heavy use. NFC has no use in the phone at the moment. It should be getting an ICS update in the future which might change that. It's fast, has lots of memory, and the best camera in any phone so far. It's and AF camera and takes pictures lightening quick. But this is fairly common with all phones once they get broken in a little.
