Like the Desire X, the curved size and (relatively) small screen-size mean it's easy to handle, while LTE connectivity and a 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor made easy work of browsing on Chrome and navigating Android 4.0.

The One SV is a great phone for what it is - a mid-range device designed for LTE connectivity ... Unfortunately, the One SV doesn't do enough to try and make up for the battery drain of LTE.

Overall, we're liking the look of the HTC One SV so far. It's smart, has a reasonable balance of features and a quick test of its 4G connectivity shows it's just as nippy as any other 4G handset.

If you're looking for a 4G-enabled smartphone with a slightly lower budget, the HTC One SV may be worth looking at. However, don't expect great photos out of it.

I hope that the One SV gets attention from some bigger carriers in the U.S. though, because with some solid marketing and attractive pricing at a larger carrier, it could certainly do well among subscribers seeking a low-cost phone that stands out from the crowd.

When combined with Cricket's very cost effective (read cheap but full featured) monthly service plans getting this one is a no-brainer if you can get good Cricket service. The phone is built like a tank, looks absolutely stunning ... and performs well above it's budget friendly price tag.

Overall the HTC One SV offers up a slightly peculiar selection of features. On the one hand it’s nicely designed, has a good quality screen ... But, on the other hand, its screen is low resolution, its processor relatively slow, its camera below par and its price too high.

PC Mag
It's the best phone Cricket offers for under $400. It's smaller than the GS3, beautiful, and still performs well. If you can't afford the GS3, or you like this design better, the HTC One SV is a great way to experience Cricket's new LTE network.

SlashGear
It’s not a bad device, but it demands too many compromises from cutting-edge users tempted by 4G, and can’t compete on price with more affordable HSPA+ phones on other networks.

CNET
The HTC One SV’s sleek design and fast processor are impressive, but not its call quality or the pictures it takes.
