  • Ubisoft's NFT sales apparently aren't going so well

Ubisoft has barely sold any Ghost Recon NFTs

Ubisoft's NFT launch didn't go over well with customers or employees, and it appears to be a financial bust so far, too.

'Borderlands 3' and 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' hit Google Stadia

Google is slowly but surely expanding the number of games available on Stadia, giving you and your friends (thanks to those buddy passes) more titles to play together. It emerged back in August that Borderlands 3 was coming to the game streaming platform, and today's the day you can hop into the looter-shooter on Stadia. Joining Gearbox's game on Stadia is fighting RPG Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Ubisoft plans to improve ‘Ghost Recon Breakpoint’ with a month of bug fixes

By most accounts, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the latest game from Assassin's Creed publisher Ubisoft, is a broken mess. Thanks to its unfinished state, the game performed so poorly in its first week of availability that Ubisoft recently delayed most of its major 2020 releases. However, in a blog post published on Monday, the publisher detailed how it plans to fix the game.

Ubisoft is delaying almost every game it has announced

Ubisoft is delaying several major games on its upcoming slate. Watch Dogs: Legion had been set for March 6th and Gods & Monsters had a release date of February 25th, while Rainbow Six Quarantine had also been earmarked for the first quarter of 2020. Those games will now arrive in the second half of next year.

  • Watch the Xbox Gamescom event in 14 minutes

Microsoft loves to use Gamescom as a vehicle for its post-E3 news, and it had plenty on offer for the 2019 event -- even for PlayStation fans. PUBG added cross-platform play that lets PS4 and Xbox One gamers vie against each other for the elusive chicken dinner, for a start, while a smorgasbord of Gears 5 news included details of Horde mode and even the inclusion of Halo: Reach characters. There were also release dates for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and Gears Pop, not to mention a deluge of Xbox Game Pass titles like Blair Witch and Devil May Cry 5. And yes, Microsoft even managed to squeak in some (minor) new hardware. That's a lot to take in, but don't fret -- we've summed up the highlights of the Xbox Gamescom event in a supercut clip that should get you up to speed.

Jon Bernthal is your enemy in 'Ghost Recon Breakpoint'

Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking: "Hey, that's The Punisher!" But that, my friends, isn't Frank Castle. It's Colonel Cole D. Walker, the antagonist in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, who's portrayed by none other than Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead). In the new installment of Ubisoft and Tom Clancy's tactical shooter video game, Walker is the leader of The Wolves, a group of ex-military Ghosts who have gone rogue and taken control of Auroa, a fictional island set in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Your job as a US Special Operations soldier will be to infiltrate them and end their takeover, which won't be easy because Walker and The Wolves have created an army of powerful, killer drones.

'Ghost Recon Breakpoint' pits you against killer drones

Ubisoft revealed the latest entry in its long-running Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise at a world premiere event Thursday. Set on a remote Pacific island called Auroa, home to a mysterious tech company called Skell Technology, Ghost Recon Breakpoint places you behind enemy lines. You'll be hunted by a group called the Wolves, a group of special ops soldiers who went rogue. They've reprogrammed Skell's autonomous drones to become powerful killing machines.
